Stinky Snid's Nursery & Flower Shop - Welcome To My Perpetual Adventure

Howdy brother snid I'm having issues with my fan leaves I. E. there huge LOL shielding light from bud sites and I'm wondering how much if any I should or can defol? If you have a chance could you stop by and see what you think? It would be greatly appreciated. I love how you've rolled all those shoots it gives me ideas and in looking at your autos I don't think I'm as slow as I had originally thought. Eventually I'll have your experience with training and won't need to bother you as much I hope at least lol and after these I got fast buds green crack genetics to do a side by side with gh and SnS I can't wait and it's all due to you and your kindness thank you brother

Snid you have a green thumb for sure. Furnace isn't on here yet, but it's getting cold at night. Can't wait for ice fishing
I've got a few months of hunting still before I venture out onto the frozen rivers. I may have a green thumbs but I'm still wet behind the ears when it comes to growing, although I'm officially no longer a rookie. It's now been a year since I brought my outdoor plant inside, which started my 420 journey.

I wish I knew you had your own journal sooner! Your plants look amazing brother the way you've trained them is flawless, subbed!
Never too late Indigoism, there's lots to catch up on. But the current lineup is a fine place to begin following...glad you found your way here, chime in anytime brother.

Thanks Jacob :Namaste: I like the format of your response, and I'll definitely steal that holy trichomoley saying... Classic! I've only seen sugar leaves that frosty once, and then was the Tutankhamen... But there weren't that many. :thanks:

OMG Bailey Snid, GIVE HER TO ME! (I am shouting so you can hear me without a phone...can you hear it?)
I just love your cactus farm, that's always the impression I get! You have your own grow style and it is fantastic man. +reps
I may not have heard you, but the earth definitely trembled when you dropped that rep bomb. Thanks Shiggity, this is the same as my Jawsephine (mold) was but even bigger. I've got Rh down to below 50 nearly full time and I've been spreading Colas apart to allow air in and to observe for decay/mold. I won't lose this one, only got 1 zip form Jawsephine I'm hoping for more than 3 from Bailey. Snid style is an add hock, Willy Nilly, do it how you think kinda style. And I've been really good at it. But seriously, thanks ShiggityFlip, I've tried my best and it has shown. It's thanks to you guys I've made any improvement. :circle-of-love:

I'm there buddy, just give me a sec to... :slide: and...
OK and I'm back... Anytime brother, I'm here to help like so many have helped me.

Insane Mastery!
Sounds great Phatk, thanks for the motivational boost. It's been a long journey, but I've improved all along the way. :Namaste:

Great harvest results my friend! You are an amazing source of healing powers through green meds. Super Stink!
I've got a full stash now, closing in on 350g of ready to consume buds. I'm just waiting for Bailey now and I may reach a full pound. Never would have imagined I could be self sufficient, and it didn't take long. I'm paying less than a dollar a gram at this point. And I've totally recouped my initial (fair sized) investment. What a wonderful community... You especially my dear, thank you:circle-of-love:

You said it brother, and then some... Thanks for the great big morale boost. I'm not sure how I became a go to guy for grow questions but I'm happy to help. I was shy about giving advice at first, you know, in case I gave bad advice and ruined someone's grow. But I've been peppered with queries some easy to answer some required some research before being confident enough to venture a diagnosis. I've got my 6 months hard research Bubbling around in my brain, I merely go with my experiences most of the time. Yes my garden is blessed, but that's because you all have contributed to my success. So thank you Donjuan, appreciate it brother :thanks:

If you take a look at my current Bailey, most of her leaves are either 3 finger or single blade. I don't know why she like that, but it seems strain related. But to be honest idk... I could be stress too. Maybe someone reading along can chime in and be more specific. Sugar leaves are often single blade though...

October 16th, Daily Update

October 16th, Daily Update
It's a Sunday afternoon, pouring rain all day so I'll have a full update for you all. My second atomic clone is still kicking a week since cutting. I'm to scared to dig around for roots, I'll just wait till they pop out of the container before rejoicing. Environmental aspects are all working nominally, temps and humidity are steady within the optimal ranges. I've miscalculated my photoperiod times, I have an empty space in the flower tent being wasted since my corkscrew isn't ready to flowrr yet. I'm debating tossing a couple skywalker Kush seeds straight into flower just to get some more seeds. But if I get two females I'll be stuck with two tiny plants and will have used up 2 of 6 seeds. I need some breeding consulting if anyone cares to help me figure out the best course of action. Or maybe do a couple solo cup freebies? I want to fill the tent space with something...
Having said all that, I'm probably going to drop a couple skywalker Kush and figure it out as I go forward. Lol. Let's take a look at the current line up of ladies.

Notes ~
Has anyone seen a plant flower like Hailey is going. The one big clump is a top and the skimpy little scrap is from her middle. I can't even see a bud, just single calyxes dried up. I've never seen this kind of flower pattern, will this amount to any buds at all? I'm thinking of just chopping it, not much trichome development to be seen although she's sticky with oils. Bailey however, is looking amazing. Her main four Colas are bigger than my wrist. Lots of white pistils coming out still but I've spotted a good 20%amber already around the tops, 10%lower down. Another week and I'll flush. The widows are all doing well, some obviously better than the others but all are healthy and growing. A couple are set to be topped in the next few days.

Notes ~
All three are rising very evenly. Marylou and Felicity for a second taste of bloom nute and activators. I've got pistils popping on all three too, only one week to show signs... Better than my last crop turnaround time. :thumb: Bud ignitor :thumb: I've made minor stake/tie down adjustments to keep things growing up at an equal pace. The shoots at the end of the mains that I topped are like the pace cars... I keep everything equal to them. Anyone know if uvb would be beneficial at this stage or just later into flower. These girls are going to be great if I can keep them healthy. Marge is slowing down again, my imposed stress is making her angry. But I must push forward cuz this is going to take a while...

Hope your weekend was enjoyable, see you again for the midweek update. Till then...

October 18th, Daily Update

It's just another day in the world of Stinky Snid. Might aswell give you all a smoke report on a few of the strains I've been sampling. By far Acapulco Gold will be my go to smoke for a nice even keeled high to get things done. A great aroma, smells like a coffee or cocoa with a piney minty overtone. Taste smooth but still has a dull "fresh" favour, after only two weeks so far a couple more weeks curing will make this "Some Badass weed" Ala cheech and Chong. The white Widow clones are a delight to smoke. A subtle lemony taste and smell, curing has done these well. It's been 3-4 weeks cured, and I have consumed these buds first and they've been getting better everyday. The Tutankhamen is some powerful stuff, very enjoyable when with friends who think they can handle some top shelf bud. :) one toke choke for the light weights... But it's not a harsh draw, the buds a cured very nicely especially the top nugs. The smaller nugs have been the ones I've been smoking except for those special occasions. That's it for now, Diesel Berry is on the sampling tray at the moment. It's the frostiest nugs without cure I've seen so far, the trichomes are caking the sides of the Mason jar. So that's that... Let see what in the Tents.

Notes ~
Hailey is finally somewhat building buds. Beneath all those leaves there a smidgen of buds barely compacting with each other. It's as if she couldn't decide wether to flower for the past 5 weeks. This is one long winded autoflower. Bailey however got her preharvest flush. Upon checking trichomes I was surprised to see a great very many of amber trichomes on her tops. Plenty in the mids and some in the popcorn... Although she is still putting out plenty of white pistils. I'll give her another 7-10days and harvest her hopefully mold free. The gang of seedlings is coming on now, some are slightly ahead but they're all on schedule to be topped by days 14-16. They got a taste of b52, carboload and the root tribe, with calmag too.

Notes ~
Marge my corkscrew project has had a growth spurt after the last feeding. Id even say she completed lap one of the track. Maude got a full bloom feeding, including the root tribe and bud ignitor. She has the tightest nodes of the three bigguns. Felicity appears to me Magnesium deficient, I've applied a foliar spray of diluted calmag and bud candy. She has a crown of Colas, it's like a big donut covered in leaves. Marylou made some gains on the vertical plane these past couple days. All three are throwing pistils out from a multitude nodes, flowering time is upon us.

That's it for the mid week update, things are going just swell. Thanks for stopping in...
