Stinky Snid's Nursery & Flower Shop - Welcome To My Perpetual Adventure

Yummy! Looking great Snid!
I'll tell you what's yummy, Hubbabubbasmelloscope! :yummy: final weight and smoke report coming up:thumb:

Is there any reason you can't do both just in case?:thumb:
If I do it I'll be doing one "special" plant. I've got to keep the cycle going. I can grow both but I'll train one into a tornado. :Namaste:

Looking great Snid:high-five: if you have the space go for both, train them in different corkscrew designs. Keep up the great work, looking forward to what you decide
Like I just mentioned to shruum the cycle must continue and I don't want to slow down my timing. I should be staring my next batch of photos any day now. Just waiting for a little room in the auto tent. My attention will be on one plant and I'll do my darndest. :thumb:

Killing it mate.all ur plants look top notch really great work fairplay. A pat on the back from me bro;) keep smashing it il be here watching.happy growing every1;)
Thanks Beast, you are definitely one of my mentors. A big :high-five: from me and a :thanks:from the garden.

August 19th, Daily Update

Hubbabubbasmelloscope, if you haven't seen the pics from her hefty but compact harvest....here's a flashback to trim day. It came in at 227 grams wet, final dry weight (68% for 7 days) and the total amount to jarred is 54.5g or just shy of 2oz.

Now for the juicy smoke report. I am in awe of the delicious flavour of this strain, it's definitely drool enducing. It's as if I smoking a fruit/tropical punch rolling paper. The smell is still subtle and masked slightly with that fresh plant Odor. But once it's grinded it's aroma is billowing, a very strong intoxicating smell. The smoke is exquisite and joints are hard to finish. A new favourite, I'd encourage anyone to grow it and experience the strain themselves.

On with the update, it's getting down to about 4 weeks left of flowering in the photo tent. Time to think about getting the next round started. I may hold off on replenishing the auto line up to make room for some photoperiod seedlings. I need to disinfect my promix and assure a pest free start. Let's get down there and see how the girls are doing...

Notes ~
Jawsephine is finally starting to look like she winding down. It's tough to check trichs on her, but I haven't seen many. It's hard to tell when I should flush her completly, I had given her a good flush with some budcandy, overdrive previously. Bobby Sue is much closer to finish, she's got all her pistils shrivelled and a good 10% amber on her big buds. I'll flush monday for a dry pot harvest next weekend. Hailey is exploding Into a monster, she hit preflowers and the Stretch before Bailey and is still a ways behind Bailey in bud formation. Looking at Bailey straight on from the side, it's a wall of Colas. If Jawsephine is any example of what's to come, this beetle Bailey is going to be spectacular. Crystal has been spread open a little to allow the shorter Colas in the center to develop. Debbie Diesel Berry is on her first inch of vertical stretch, come on baby reach for the lights.

Notes ~
After a full 7 weeks of flowering these girls a looking superb. The Tutankhamen couldn't be more appealing, frosty big buds and a great aroma. This is a good strain to try, even the popcorn is decked in trichomes. Explosia has been forming up buds the Lst few days. It's starting to look like some nice Colas are coming to fruition. Ella and Bella will be the first to get chopped I assume. They've been getting harder instead of bigger. The lemony aroma is very strong as soon as the tent door opens.

Have a good weekend, glad you stopped by today hello,

Wow Snid, your grow looks more amazing every time I see it. Nice harvest.

Looking great Snid, well done

Great grow sensei, wish I could be there to partake.RoorRip

Thanks so much guys, it's a pleasure to share this experience with all of you. Looking back, when I started here as a Noob like everyone else. I wanted to do what Atrain accomplished, Grow great buds and do it as soon as I could learn enough to do so. I think I've done just that, but knowing that I've inspired, I don't how many but, folks to do what they think may be too hard or complex is humbling in the greatest of ways. It goes to show that an average Joe can grow some great buds with alot of reading and learning from others. If not for this site I would have been one and done. I would have lost my plant and given up on the idea of becoming self sustained.
But on to the real point of these thoughts, it's for and because of you guys/gals that I've kept up on this endeavour for so long. :thanks:

My plan of attack is set, solo cups prepared. Soiless mix is to be baked to ensure a pest free start. I've chosen my strains.
I've been a huge fan of cheese since I was gifted some earlier this year from a kind soul. So one is definitely either blue cheese or cheese. Next is Bubblegum, I've been regretting the loss of Mandy mid flower. Although her hash was exceptional. Then atomic bomb cuz it's sounds like the bomb strain for big buds. Then I'll try my hand at some pineapple chunk so I can be part of the community thread. Preparation is nearing completion, corkscrew challenge here we come...

Hats off to ya Snid. What a sight man.

August 21st, Daily Update

OK folks it's time to keep that cycle going. I've come to realize I'm basically running a perpetual grow with a bunch of autos thrown in. I figure I've got about 3-4 weeks left in the photo tent and Once the two older autos are out 4 smaller pots should fit in there until the photo tent is done. So I've got my solo cups lined up and soaking with root boosting juices waiting for a little sprout to pop.

For the record the strains to be grown (and are already sown) are...
1- Cheese > Green House seeds
2 - Atomic Bomb > Bomb seeds
3- Bubblegum XXL > Royal Queen seeds
4- Pineapple Chunk > Barney's Farm
20160821_130424.jpg

I'm in need of some soil amendments, I'll be stopping at Lowe's for some perlite and promix. Some need oil would be a good find too. For now let's take a look in the garden for today's pictures and updates

Notes ~
I can't figure if Jawsephine is going to harden up at all. I'm worried about bud rot, I'm pulling out alot of dead foliage from within the buds it's a pile worth daily. But yet I see hardly any amber and there's still fresh pistils coming out. Bobby Sue will be getting a flush tomorrow, lining her up for a weekend harvest. We're at 10-15% amber all over the bigger buds. Rock hard and smelly like weed, she's a beauty. Hailey is too tall now, it's ridiculous, she makes Jawsephine look like a pip squeek. She is also developing a mild case of magnesium def. Bailey and Crystal however are just right, they both have great stature and size. Their buds are filling in and there's no sign of stress or def. And my Debbie Diesel Berry is on her second vertical node and is about 2" to the vertical.

Notes ~
The photo tent is officially looking bad ass. Everyone is blooming great, Explosia is making headway in development. She is smelling funky now and is showing good signs of big buds to come. Cleopatra is getting her second wind of flower power. The pistils have exploded from the buds and are reaching out for more bulk. Same goes for Ella and Bella, the last few days I've seen an explosion of new pistils, bring on the bulk babies.

Thanks you all, see you again real soon...

Morning Snid.
Hope everyone is having a fine day today.

Jawsephine is insane, how can that be all bud, it amazes me. Cleopatra looks like fireworks deployed, look out and explosia is an explosion. I am giddy in excitement and it's not even for me. About the corkscrew plant, I know Purple Kush would take forever, but could you imagine her purple flowers looking like arrows if you were to guide her into that pattern. Just a hopeful wish. I think the bubble seed would be #1 choice. Now if you were to do 3 plants in the shape of 420, then you would win for sure. Easier said then done lol. But it would be the ultimate. But I like Dirt's idea to do 2 corkscrews opposite of each other. Cool beans!:goodjob:

I love the 420 plant idea G2HM:thumb: might be able to do it with a clone with 3 mains and just shape the mains into the numbers........hmmm

This is the plan, outward spirals in opposite directions. It's going to look like a colidascope. At least in my mind it does, seeds are sown and I'll be sure to start my training early. Thanks for supreme kindness, and ideas... Big hugs for you :hugs:

Yaaaaa...No. I wish I had the time and space but that's a no go for Snid. Lol. But honestly you could do it vertical and use some HST and or LST to get it done. Someday :thumb:

This is gonna be your month dude! I'm so happy for you.

August 23rd, Daily Update

So I stopped by the local big box stores and picked up some fresh media ingredients. It starts with premiere (promix) straight peat moss. Then the amendments...
  • perlite
  • vermiculite
  • mycorrizae
  • bat guano
  • worm castings
  • bone & blood meal
  • Epsom salts(ground)
  • dolomite lime
  • coco earth (topsoil/wormcatsing/cocohusk)
20160822_162521.jpg

It's time to get my hands dirty and get some new media for the upcoming batch of photoperiods... 100%bug free star! :thumb: They're all in solo cups moistened and enveloped in my heat mat. It's day 2 since sowing, should be a head "pooping" out of the soil any time... Fingers crossed anyways. It's always exciting to get new life in the garden, even more so than the flowers imo. Let's get on with the update shall we...

Notes ~
Jawsephine is getting flushed today, it's time to get her chopped. Should be only a few days before harvest. I've got Bobby sue under a window, as to make her dry out faster in the direct sunlight. Hailey is not responding to the magnesium spray I administered the other day. Although I've read that def. signs show only weeks after it begins initially. Bailey and Crystal are more alike then the twins, such good potential for big long buds, love Jawsephine. Debbie is growing quickly now, I'd say we're 3" to the vertical.

Not much to add to previous updates, it's just getting frostier and thicker for all the ladies. Cleopatra has been staked with supports to keep the Colas from falling over. Explosia is getting a real funky aroma. Her buds are starting to build up now, she's looking great. Ella and Bella have buds from stalk to tips. Lots of very crystally popcorn for me to enjoy.

See you next time, Stinky Snid's is welcoming to all. Thanks for the great vibes and support.
