August 13th, Daily Update
Fishing trip cancelled, booo! Spent the whole day inside watching movies and catching up on my subscriptions. Down to 20 journals from 117 this morning. That's a lot of updates to read up on. I have to say that this community is producing some great buds all around.
I've rigged my intake fan to suck air through my drying cabinet where Madeleine is hanging to dry. Here's some pics from this morning's trim session.
Now that there's room in the tent I'll make a decision on what goes in next. I'll send the destined seed to a warm bath tomorrow. Stay tuned for the selection. For now let's check out the days progess...
Notes ~
Jawsephine may just be about done, it's very hard to check trichomes among her pistilized stalks. I'm thinking just water from here on out. Let's see if I can stick to it... Lol. Bobby Sue is darkening her pistils rapidly, not much progression on amber trichs though. Hailey is at least 2" taller than the other two and rivalling Jawsephine. I really hope for the same kind of budding for her. Bailey and Crystal have disappointed me... Not! They are just perfect, I swear I could pack them into a box. They have very symmetrical and square side. Debbie is chugging along with her second nodes on all growth tips, she seems to be favouring one side for growth. Suzy may be dead, she hasn't grown in two days and is looking faint. I think the parasites or whatever was in the soil has taken her down. I have sprayed the topsoil several times but I need a drench to take care of these bugs. She might get pulled if things don't get better soon.
Notes ~
I'm going to need some stakes to tie Cleopatra's weaker stems to, they leaning on each other and swaying in the fan's breeze. I'm thinking a central stake and use guy wires to hang the buds from above. I can see the benefits of a scrog here. Explosia is surely heading down the same road. I'll get this new method down in no time, but any tops are appreciated. Ella is doing fine with her mutilated branch, I've propped it up and it should heal with a nice knuckle. Bella is continuing her flowering with brilliant white buds.
