Stinky Snid's Nursery & Flower Shop - Welcome To My Perpetual Adventure

August 13th, Daily Update

Fishing trip cancelled, booo! Spent the whole day inside watching movies and catching up on my subscriptions. Down to 20 journals from 117 this morning. That's a lot of updates to read up on. I have to say that this community is producing some great buds all around.

I've rigged my intake fan to suck air through my drying cabinet where Madeleine is hanging to dry. Here's some pics from this morning's trim session.

Now that there's room in the tent I'll make a decision on what goes in next. I'll send the destined seed to a warm bath tomorrow. Stay tuned for the selection. For now let's check out the days progess...

Notes ~
Jawsephine may just be about done, it's very hard to check trichomes among her pistilized stalks. I'm thinking just water from here on out. Let's see if I can stick to it... Lol. Bobby Sue is darkening her pistils rapidly, not much progression on amber trichs though. Hailey is at least 2" taller than the other two and rivalling Jawsephine. I really hope for the same kind of budding for her. Bailey and Crystal have disappointed me... Not! They are just perfect, I swear I could pack them into a box. They have very symmetrical and square side. Debbie is chugging along with her second nodes on all growth tips, she seems to be favouring one side for growth. Suzy may be dead, she hasn't grown in two days and is looking faint. I think the parasites or whatever was in the soil has taken her down. I have sprayed the topsoil several times but I need a drench to take care of these bugs. She might get pulled if things don't get better soon.

Notes ~
I'm going to need some stakes to tie Cleopatra's weaker stems to, they leaning on each other and swaying in the fan's breeze. I'm thinking a central stake and use guy wires to hang the buds from above. I can see the benefits of a scrog here. Explosia is surely heading down the same road. I'll get this new method down in no time, but any tops are appreciated. Ella is doing fine with her mutilated branch, I've propped it up and it should heal with a nice knuckle. Bella is continuing her flowering with brilliant white buds.

Hope your weekend is filled with laughter and love, thanks for being a part of this journey.

August 15th, Daily Update

Back to work Mondays, yay, not! It was a busy day, lots of work to be done. Once home its down to the lab to make sure my photos are taken care of before lights out. I'm getting tired of feeding these girls, it's so repetitive. But hey its all worth it in the end... They look great and I'm getting excited about the Tutankhamen. Also I'm quite eager to taste test the Hubbabubbasmelloscope, it's smells device. Currently drying at 65>72% Rh, should be a ready for jars by weeks end. Let's get to the living and unfortunately dying...

Notes ~
The Stink Widow experiment has been aborted, I'll have to try again to get my strain to grow out. It's got symphilids throughout the medium. My spray was not sufficient, and I forgot about her for a few days. She has been culled and the soil thrown out. Debbie is starting to preflower already, only 3 weeks veg.. Oyh. It's a mini me auto, not a big fan of these. They have amazing buds but they're so small. On the other hand the 3 middle aged plants are at their flower stage full on now, they're 50+days old in comparison. Bobby Sue just got a budcandy flush, 10 litres, 5 with florakleen then 5 with budcandy/overdrive. Jawsephine got another 30 or so dead or yellow leaves removed. She's almost ready to pose for the glamour shots.

Ella and Bella couldn't be doing any better, I don't even think their mother was this white. There's going to be lots of popcorn but I don't care it's all the same once it's bitted up. Explosia is on her way to stardom, her buds are filling in up top and are stretching under the canopy. I'm hoping for a food haul from this beauty. Cleopatra is smelling and looking amazing. It's by far the frostiest buds I've grown and it's only week 7.

Have a good week ahead, glad you could come visit the nursery and flower shop. Doors are always open...

Awesome update snid! All of your plants are looking great. Sour Bubbling Crack has my attention for sure.
SBC is up for her pre flush flush, still very little amber. But she looks soooo ready. Thanks Dr.C

abSOULutely tremendous work! Explosia is blowing my mind, Jawsephine is an outlaw - bad*ass, and Crystal better catch up with the bunch if she's gonna make the show.
Can-grow-ulations, again! Your garden sister and soul tribe friend, G2HM
:bravo:
A big hug for you G2heal, thanks for your steadfast support. I'm sure that Crystal will rise to the occasion, after all, she's named after a super tough woman I know. Just wait and see. :circle-of-love:

YASS Madeleine is just gorgeous! Gimme a smoke report when you can :)
Lol. Asap Premed, :rollit: can't wait, I've got a piece fast drying. It'll be ready tomorrow unless it's raining again.

KiG :green_heart:cheers

Congrats on nomination Snid. Man those beauties are just unreal.

Hey brother!! Long time no see.. well, not to long really haha. I can't believe the differences I am seeing in here compared to almost 3 weeks ago when I left to go on vacation, truly phenomenal. I have to say, out of all the plants right now.. I am most impressed over Jawsephine and Bobby Sure, what amazing looking gals! They have come a long way and you have also!

There's not a lot of words I can say right now since I haven't gone back and read all the pages I am behind on, but at the same time I am usually at a loss for words when I come over here to visit you anyways :) Take care until next time though, I will be home after labor day and trying to figure out what I'm going to start up with. Cheers!

Amazing, amazing growing! I aspire to grow like you someday. Is this your full time job? Although I'm a new grower, we have named some of our girls the same names!! Reps to you for a great journal! :thumb:
Names are a fun, I like setting their destiny in a name sake. It adds a little bit of extra "oneness" with the girls. Thanks for all the support, I'm no guru, just a novice... Working on amateur. :thanks:

Congrats on the nominations my friend. Your POTM is a winner for sure ;)

As always, your garden is killer. When I stop being so lazy, I need to stop back by for some training lessons. If you've been by my garden lately you will understand.
Cheers
RoorRip
:Namaste:4x4grow, thank you. I'd be glad to give any advice on training. I'm going to start that corkscrew in a couple weeks. Your support is my inspiration. :thanks:

Love the way you train. That berry diesel really shows how to spread it out. Looking forward to watching her grow up.
I'm afraid she's just going to be a mini me, not going to be much bigger than Bobby sue. Flowers by day 21, only good for Sog setups imo. I could use a pot half the size to support these types of autoflowers and double my number of plants. Training is fun and I enjoy watching the progress, thanks Doc C.

Congrats on nomination Snid. Man those beauties are just unreal.
:thanks:Jacobs, they are all flowering great...I'm not counting my chickens yet buy this photo grow is bigger than last, the autos are huge too. This will be a good crop. :Namaste:

Hey Dick, great to hear from ya brother. Hope your time off was serene and refreshing. Ya the girls are all doing amazing. The new autos have made Jawsephine look tame in comparison. Be sure to let me know when you get the next adventure underway. Good to have you back Dick :thumb:

August 17th, Daily Update

Happy hump day to you all, almost time for the weekend already. Not much going on in the garden today, just a quick preening and weigh in. My Madeleine is just about dry, will report the dry weight tomorrow. It's still in the cabinet drying at 68% Rh currently. Should I bring it down the Rh lower or is it fine at current levels? Anyways let's get out with the update, here's the lineup...

20160817_142933.jpg

Notes ~
I'm going to need to stop by the hydro shop to get a soil drench, my current pest control is no time adequate to kill these symphilids. 4 out of 6 of the autos are being attacked by these tiny &%@#s. Luckily the roots are growing faster than they can be eaten. Luckily Debbie doesn't have any it seems... Yet. Stink Widow is in the compost heap though. I have a feeling my bail of promix was contaminated pre purchase. No beuno! Despite these pests the three girls are flourishing and flowering has commenced. Bobby sue will be getting a flush in a few days, ambers have popped up and I'm calling it at 10% now. Jawsephine is steadily loosing her leaves, it's a daily chore picking out the dead leaves curled up and withered inside the buds. It's very sticky work, but necessary to say the least. Should be flushing in a week... I hope.

Notes ~
I took the canopy shots without the flash to see the difference in colouring. Cleopatra has some forests buds, I can feel the potency already. This one is making me excited. She has some solid buds and they're getting bigger and more trich covered by the day. Explosia is quickly catching up in bud production, she's starting to lose a few lower leaves. I also picked off the minuscule popcorn starting near the bottom. Ella and Bella could be switched in front of me and I couldn't tell the difference. They are both of the same structure and size, the lemony scent is now ever so apparent...only to be drowned out by the sweet aroma of the Tutankhamen.

I'm glad to have you all here on my adventure, thanks so much for your kind hearts :thanks:

OH man what strain are you gonna use....
I'm brainstorming my method. I'm thinking go out and then into and inward spiral like a cone. Or what would be harder but much cooler would be a tight inner and then gradually expand out. That's likely what I'll try, go big or go home... Right.

Here's my current strains with possible sativa traits. I'm thinking liberty Haze, but bubble gum is one I'd like to try again since I lost my last plant. What do you guys think...
