Re: August 9th, Daily Update

Hey snid..you should write a book on the art of growing in your free time....LOL LOL
man ur busy..growing .. training...updating...answering 50 questions..
How the hell do you find the time Brother..
I'd be worn out..
God bless ya..
It's hard, these updates are an hour on their own. Plus an hour or so with the girls daily, and feedings on top of that. Then there's work and play time for me. Plus I like sweating bullets and bleeding all over my handywork. Blood sweat and tears brother... Bless you too oldschool,

Man Snid, everything looks so good. I need Smellovision though.
Wouldn't that be amazing... Smellovison. What a trip. :volcano-smiley:

Snid, you just keep killing it don't you?
Cheers buddy
Cheers 4x4grow, figuratively yes. I'm am currently killing it. But it's always a surprise to find an issue. Thanks brother. :Namaste:

It'll be a experiment, to make this possible I'd need to wait until my next photo run. But I'd take that challenge. :Namaste:

August 11th, Daily Update

It's been a long day at work, lots of work to do but it's done and now it's time to relax. Medicate. And repeat... The temps around here are scorching outside, glad to be lucky enough to have an ac. The last week has been all over 33°C, I imagine outdoor plants are struggling around here. I think it's too hot to put my Suzy Stink Widow outside.

Notes ~
Jawsephine is shedding her N def. leaves at a rapid rate. It a race to the finish line now. Madeleine is now in a dark cool closet until Saturday morning. Bobby Sue has changed to amber pistils mostly, No amber trichomes still though. Hailey, Bailey and Crystal have surpassed my expectations. They're all making Jawsephine look average size. Debbie is doing well, First day of training today. She's just getting started, let's see where she ends up. The Stink Widow has stalled, hope she's putting on roots.

Notes ~
Cleopatra has made a mission of being the biggest and frostiest plant in the garden, Her frost is covering the leaves like crazy. her buds are going to need supports, They are starting to slump. Explosia is making strides developing her budsites. The tops are all relatively even, this one is going well. Ella and Bella have made her mother proud. They are getting quite sticky and have an amazing aroma that reminds me so much of Ellabella.

Thanks for all the amazing support, I am truly amazed by the outpouring of kindness from you all.

I got to the bottom and shot right back up to look at that sour bubbling crack. Is that a home made strain?
This strain is a limited edition from Mephisto Genetics. It's a cross between Sour Crack and Hubbabubbasmelloscope, HBSS being my new favourite strain. Here's some Mephisto Genetics information on this strain.

Always a treat viewing through your garden Snid.

Cheers,
Smellovision, 3d pictures... One can only assume the future is bright for cannabis porn. The industry is burgeoning and is set to out pace regular porn. It's only a matter of time. :thumb:
The garden is my sanctuary, it's a very happy place. Stay as long you like. :Namaste:

OMG Unca Snid Jawsephine is drop dead AWESOME!!!:jawdropper:
Well the birds were chirping this morning and I accidentally spilled my coffee while I was..... Uhmm yeah, where was I going with that, sorry. Oh yes Jawsephine isn't she a peach. One could hang their hat on that plant, not that I'm retiring, just pun'ing it out there. Cuz you could literally hang several hats on her. Lol is that uncly enough Shruum. Thanks my friend, good to have you by the shop.

August 12th, Daily Update

It's finally Friday again. A couple days of doing things I like to do on the way. Yippee! :yahoo: it's going to be a weekend of fishing and hanging out with friends and family. In the lab we are having some great aromas emitting from the Tents while I'm working down there. I'll be harvesting tomorrow morning, Madeleine is on the chopping block. Let's take a look at the rest of the ladies...

Notes ~
Suzy will be going outdoors this weekend. She'll get lots of sun and fresh air, something that my plants usually never really get. Debbie had made good progress with her second node growth tips, first node shoots are smaller than the top growth tips. It will be tough keeping them level. Crystal and the twins are done with stretching, it's time to pack on some buds. Madeleine is still in the dark awaiting the snippers in the morning. Bobby Sue will get a final decision once I get back, I think a saw some amber but will wait a couple days to confirm their progression. Jawsephine is still making it easy on me for pre harvest trimming. Leaves are easy to pull off since many are dying or dead. I can see why folks cut the nitrogen off late in flower, not sure if that's the reason why buts it's certainly a bonus of doing so. Almost time to select the next couple autos to grow.

Notes ~
It's incredible how much frost is on Cleopatra. She's got more trichomes already than some plants at harvest. This is going to be some epic smoke. Explosia is coming into her own, with a mild aroma and soft white pistils. Her budding has begun and will be getting full bloom nutes on the next feeding. Ella had one of my fans fall past her pot and the cord caught a branch. Didn't break but was under weight for hours and was "trained" out of position. Bella is just fine with her white buds and delicious Odor.

Have a good weekend everyone, it's time to enjoy the world... See you in a Jiffy

I would like to see you try Old schools idea about the spiral. Would be awesome to watch you try.

Cheers buddy

Let me know If there's a strain that might be most beneficial for this type of training. I'd like to make a go at doing this. Would a sativa grow faster with a lengthy mainstem.?. Let's brainstorm what strain I should use. I suppose I could start anytime. I'll post a list of my photoperiod seeds in stock. Thanks for making this exciting... :high-five:

KiG :green_heart:cheers

I'd think any haze strain would be tailor made for this type of growing. They grow fast and tall and are relatively ready to bend and shape.

Moonshine Haze from Rare Dankness, I trained this bush very easily. She lived LST and powered right through any HST.

What an update Snid. Have fun bro

Hey snid are you trimming away the popcorn to push more into the mains or just letting them go. J2 is turning into a beast. I hope she turns out like jawsephine
On which plant... Lol. I've been keeping a rule of thumb. If it's on the horizontal part of a branch it gets removed. If it's on the vertical and already growing by week 3 I leave it to climb up the stems. The clones have not had any popcorn removed at all. To me if the growth shoot doesn't look like it's going to make it close to the canopy I remove it.

I think I've got a few Haze strains, I'll dig through my seed vault to confirm. I figured a sativa grown horizontally should make a good candidate for this mission. :thanks:

Have a great fishing trip, you deserve the break! Gooo Crystal!!! "(new fav plant)
Unfortunately trip was cancelled due to 70mm of rain and thunderstorms. Booo! Reverse :thumb: to that. Maybe it will calm down by tomorrow and I can get on the water. I had refabbed my boat and new used trailer, all my hardwork and I have only used it once. Summer ain't over yet though.. Thanks G2heal, :circle-of-love:
