Stinky Snid's First Journal - Crop King NL's Automatic - Promix Bx+ - CFL & LED

Hey Snid are you still working on this?

You bet Paulpro, coming down to the last 2 or 3 weeks. These autos are taking forever, very different phenoes. I grew three of the same strain and each had its own schedule, varying by over two weeks. These last two Nadine and Maria are anywhere from 2-3 weeks from harvest. Still lots of updates to go.

Glad you could join me on my own little micro jungle. Cheers.

Harvest report for Priscilla = 26.8g dried and cured for one week. Couple more weeks until samples are ready for sharing. Also I've got tons of sticky trim in the freezer, I'll be making some bubble bag hash once these two slowpokes get to their harvest days. I clipped alot of useless popcorn that couldn't be trimmed for drying so it's in the trim container aswell. Lots of trichs on them too, hope it adds to my stash o'hash :hookah:

***Pulling up Priscilla's root ball I liked what I saw with the solo cup ball, and then the main feeders at the bottom. Very dense in the centre where I had it in a solo cup cut in half (approx) to make the main root go down as far as possible. It was over 6 inches long and about 2 cm thick for the most part. Idk if that's good or if the feeders are more important but it made a huge difference over my last plants root ball.:welcome: I may post these findings somewhere ***

I've started feeding all my plants through a solo cup with holes poked int he bottom. I also made dozens of pinholes along the sides near the bottom to suck oxygen from outside in the vacuum to hopefully oxygenate the water some more. Any feedback back on this idea would be great.

First of all about Maria, she was going to be the main attraction for this journal since she showed up around weeks 7-8 to be a beast in flowering stretch. Delayed compared to her sisters but a beautiful specimen in the long run. She's using less soiless mix then the others, but also drink her water twice as fast as her sisters.

It was a busy week for Maria, she has been fed twice since last Sunday. Standard dose of Advanced nutrients line up. G/m/B, b52,big bid(1/2dose), bud candy, x factor, sensizyme, and the Overdrive. Adding GO cal mag + full dose and a 1/2 dose prosilicate. PhD to 6.0-6.2. Fed through my oxygenation cup. I start around the edges and then fill the center until everything is saturated. My feed is 1 litre mixed and poured in, then I add PhD water until I get a bit of runoff. Then I like to and make sure there's no pockets of dryness. Having a moisture meter helps.

Upon harvesting Priscilla I realized how useless that pop corn is unless your pollinating them. Now knowing that she was using energies to produce these rather than filling out the main buds I decided to defoliated everything below the rim of the pot. I read a few threads about this and basically followed the pictures. I think she looks great with her skirt high.

Also, I made a few "back building" snips on some of her Colas. It's only been a few days and it could be combined with my previous skirt adjustment above, but them buds are getting FAT.

She's not showing any major deficiencies still...Fingers crossed...except a few old water leaves that are slowly turning yellow. The main difference with this girl and her feeding is that she guzzles it faster and therefore getting more food than her sisters. Interesting aspect there, could that be capitalized on?

Stay tuned for Nadine the drama Queen's comeback week. :thanks:

My poor Nadine, she's been such a fighter this past week. I've let her pot dry out completely to the last inch of soil. She got flushed last week if you recall, now she's shed off her ugly duckling leaves. I've not been able to feed her as much as Maria since her flushing. She's still deficient in nitrogen, and a little phosphorus. The advanced nutrients line for her was fed on Thursday. Full dose of g/m/B, b52, bud candy, Overdrive, sensizyme, calmag+, prosilicate, And molasses.
Her green is faded but at least she's back to green. Pistils are thick and I've done a few back building snips on her aswell. Thanks L.A. I hope it shows I'll post my results since i only snipped half of her tops. Her inner Colas and smaller lower buds(can't see them as popcorn now) have blossomed well since her wide open stance is allowing light all the way down. I've also clipped away the actual popcorn and hiked up her skirt like I did Maria. All in hopes of denser top Colas. That's my lesson from Priscilla 's harvest, popcorn is only good for hash and pollinating. And as per my endless reading here these two simple techniques will help me get better buds.

A family shot of the two new white Widow twins (one of which is retarded) Ellabella and Winnie. Also those in cups there are chili peppers. Plus There's a few more seedlings waiting for their time in the spotlight. All in due time...

Always a pleasure to do my weekly Sunday update for you great folks... Keep it Green everyone :Namaste:

Did you ever figure out what the issue with the black spots on the leaves was all about... Just curious before I throw out what I think it is... I read through there but didn't see an answer unless I missed it...:circle-of-love:

Nope, it's still a little bit withered at the tips but no more huge unsightly black spots. I've basically just cut out the cancer/mould or whatever it was. The new growth doesn't seem to be affected. She'll be in a new journal coming up soon, but here's an update for my "Stella" Ellabella.

currently in flux training today.

Basically I've got no answers or ideas of what the hell ravaged my most perfect seedling ever. Thanks so much for stopping in, I'll get the pina coladas out soon, I've got some pineapple express in Seedling stage. Hope you like what you see.

I think I have a pretty good working theory for ya... It looks like to me that maybe when you were watering some of it splashed up on her leaves... obviously the water has nutes in it and under the lights... it burns... the water actually works like a magnifying glass and burns the leaves... hence the reason there were no stages of yellow.. brown blah blah.... It certainly wasn't a defeciency or anything like that or at least that I have ever seen and I have had the exact thing happen and it looks like something took a bite out of the leaf and left the bite mark black... I'm pretty sure especially since all else is now good that is what happened....:high-five: Your garden is looking healthy and happy my friend... Hope you are having a blessed and green Sunday......:circle-of-love:

General ocd behaviour, tent has been rearranged. Made more room for the younglings , they are outside the light footprint being acclimatized to the LEDs.

Not much to update since yesterday, Nadine is likely done for feedings I've seen a few ambers on her top buds. I'll flush her by Sunday for sure. And, Maria is going to need another feeding in a couple days
