May 12th, "Monthly" Update
"Been to long without an update... Might even be a record since I started this journal."
That is how my last entry started.
well then! How about this gap of grow time. It's been since 4/20 that I last posted an update. Now that has to be a record... I sincerely hope you have all been well and have grown your plants to their finest potential.
I have finally quit my early morning job that had me sleeping only a few hours at a time whenever I had time. An all tolled 90 hour work week over 3 jobs got me to my breaking point. I am now enjoying some time off each day to relax and spend time with my loved ones. My poor dog didn't know what to make of my schedule, and it surely wasn't good for my health either. With that now behind me, new opportunities arise. It's summer time and it's time for some projects. My outdoor garden has been tilled and fertilized, ready for sowing once the Frost warnings are done with.
On a similar note, I've dropped 4 more auto flower seeds. 2x Gorilla Glue and 2x Amnesia Haze. They'll be sown into final pots and set under cfls until the tent is free.
On with our regular programming...

Trans Siberian #1
Day 84
Notes ~
What can be said about this needy little $#*#$...she has gotten exactly the same treatment as the other 3 TSi's. But she has been deficient since very early on. Weight will be an issue come harvest, I doubt she'll bring in much. Although she is very unsightly, she does possess the same aroma as the two following beauties, #3and#4, and very sticky. She got a mild nute flush, in hopes of reinvigorate her late stage development.
Notes ~
Showing signs of her sisters deficiency (magnesium) she has lost alot of foliar mass over the past week or two. I've picked alot of the dying leaves off so she may be presentable for you. I just gave her a mild nute flush as I did with #1.i hope she finished with an all right density. One things is for sure is that she is sticky but yet less aromatic than the latter two TSi's.
Notes ~
The third of the TSi's is probably the nicest with her stacked Colas. They have blended together so well and have formed up some spectacular buds. Still very healthy, her leaves are starting to yellow as she approaches her flush date. With one dosage of overdrive already she'll get one more before her flushing.
Notes ~
The last of the TSi's has quite a beautiful cola array. Not quite as stacked as #3 but very bulky and dense. And there's still white pistils protruding, meaning even more growth. Her fading leaves are starting to fall off, I've removed a few from her buds to avoid them during harvest. Feedings continue as per schedule, she'll soon be in her final phase.
Notes ~
I'm very impressed with the Blackjack. The buds are extremely tight and super massive. Her aroma strongly resembles that of dark devil, it's very intoxicating. Most of her leaves are still intact, and are just beginning to lose their luster. Her feedings are finale phase doses. I've begun lowering her nutes, but included overdrive in full amounts.
Notes ~
This diesel Berry is in her waining days. Not much amber yet but the window is definitely open. I'll start a flush in a week or so once ambers reach 15%. The aroma is very sweet in nature and the berry odour are ever present. She's starting to lose her leaves to deficiency, but it's all in good time according to her approaching harvest. She got her last dose of overdrive, this should keep her until her flush.

Fruit Punch
Day 65
Notes ~
The fruit punch is more like my style of plant. Carefully formed with some persistent training. I will let her go vertical very soon, maybe one more week of vertical growth and I'll send her into flower. Some yellowing leaves have been removed, mostly larger fans. She is a heavy drinker, I am feeding steadily along with the bubble bomb.
Notes ~
The largest of the photoperiods, this bubble bomb had some serious potential. Unfortunately with my lack of persistence with her training, I split the main stalk trying to tie down the shoots. Some major taping was in order, I'm hoping she pulls through. Some defoliation was also in order, I removed quite a few of the inner fan leafs. Feedings are hearty and frequent, she drinks her share in only a couple days. She was the first to be up potted and shows in her size and stature.
Notes ~
My cropking Durban poison has also progressed slower than usual. In fine form with her training, she is on her merry way to flowering size. Not much to report on her progress since there isn't much, she's being fed steadily now with a full nutrient spectrum to keep her healthy. Nodes are tightly spread, and she is in fine health. I've put a precautionary piece of tape to cover a her split, there was a small gape forming.
Notes ~
This little gal has not grown all that much up until a week ago. Now she's being trained like usual. I started a little too late and had to do some mild super cropping on the top stems. I'm sure the new pot of "soil" has made her new found growth a possibility. Her tiny starter pot was surely not enough space for her to grow properly. She is still on a basic nutrient regiment with a occasional root tribe boost.
I'm so very glad to see you all here once again...till next time, I will respond to your postings shortly. Thank you for all of your support and friendship.
