Mar. 21st, the first day of spring! I can already picture my outdoor garden blossoming with wholesome veggies and fruits...and maybe an auto or two. Hehe
I had a good nap before I dealt with these ladies today, I think it may be a good idea from now on. When I'm tired I tend to fumble around to much with the delicate branches to be trained. Let's get to the pics... Eh!
Ellabella day 56 : 11.2 lbs
My Stella' Ellabella has overgrown her training stakes in just a day once again. She is keeping me busy as hell.
Now! That's better
I ponytailed her topped top topped top tips,(say that 3 times fast) this should slow them down some, I'm going to try to have them spread out over the lower canopy. As you can see she is very stout and is spread wide.
Winnie day 56 : 9.8 lbs
same goes for Winnie she's quite the tenacious growing mutant, I've got lots of adjusting to do. Other than her lion's mane which is a happy accident, she's cleared up of her wonkiness.
Ahhhhhhh...
I've been waiting for a top shoot long enough for me to get a clone cutting from Winnie. I'd prefer Ellabella, but I'll have to wait for those. This is my first cloning attempt since my very first bagseed plant of a year past. Let's cross those fingers.
I waited till there were 5 nodes working on the 6th, cut at 45° and immediately dipped it in water, cut the lower branches and trimmed the top leaves in half. then placed it in two brands of root hormone gels, placed it in a Jiffy pellet and is now alone in the propagation heat pad humidity dome.
What do I do about lightschedule for her. I've read one cfl, but I've also read keep them in the dark to promote rooting. Please advise.
Leialoha day 48 : 8.4 lbs
not much to adjust on my darling child. Plus I needed to preen the others before her. Such neglect, I hope she doesn't give me grief.
Thanks for the support everyone.
KiG y'all
