I post my pics at 800x1200 - seems to work pretty well. I need to just set my camera to take them at that size so I can quit resizing them.

Yah there growing so fast now i come home and think "oh those new leaves didnt grow much" but then i look and its actually a new set every day now.

Yah I settled on 1700 x 1350 But after posted I honestly can tell the difference in picture quality.

Almost left out two pics...

My cheapo 20minute carbon scrubber...Mats are: PB tub, sock, tape, strap, 4' vent pipe and of course activated carbon

Its awesome I put a whole can from pet store in there Ill find the bottle to see how much but it fills it perfectly. Im hoping to get a couple grow out of it but its 11 bucks to refill so no biggy if it doesnt last. easy to refill too (2 screws) which was something I struggled with in design but I just grabbed anything I though might work layed it out and it hit me lol sock pb done.
The best thing is it muffles the exhaust fan I sleep 3 feet away from cab so its important.

plants are looking really good my man... how is the carbon setup doing for smell? I am very interested in that... I need to get something like that for my grow rom...

it works really good so far this morning wife went to check on the opened the cab and said "OMG that really smells when you open it".
We will see how it does in flower but so far its not noticeable in the room at all.

I will take a pic of it apart sometime so you can get an idea of how its built its really simple but hard to explain...

Well I switched them to flower today...
Changed the nutes to transition schedule.
Lights out at 10pm kiddies and you better be sleeping.

I was going to wait until my cloning stuff arrived but it seems just because a hydro shop plasters "will ship orders in 2 days!" all over thier site doesnt mean its true... am I just to picky with hydro shops? I mean if they say "ships overnight with DHL" or "will ship in 2 days" should I really expect them too and not send them emails expressing my discontent... I know their probly stoned or something or maybe thats just how they get you. anyways....

Can I take clones when they are only a couple days into 12/12?

it was 28oz container from pet store. Pb tub took whole thing.
Yah these are a low odor strain....but thats relative to the super skunk skunkolicious strain I think...lol
I have the light I built with 4 26watt cfls

And the 70 watt HPS I just put together last week. Im thinking of getting another 70 watter and making a hood to house both with a glass front My ballast is getting lonely in its box. But I did switch the CFLs to one 2700k 2 3000k and one 5600k.
also I have a 100 watt 3000k cfl in a clip on fixture for when they get some height.
Not entirely sure what the finally light configuration will be yet lol.
right now about 175watts er so

Nice and fancy looking rig you got there, have you checked the temps with them on? I was reading about how the cfl's can fail if they don't have adequate air circulation, have you used a hood like that with cfl's before?

I took a hood from a T-12 and cut holes for 3 receptacles, it probably didn't to very much because most of my bulbs were sticking out and low, don't know if you read my first journal, but it was used and now I don't think I am using it again.

I like the set up though and hope it all works out for ya! Take care man I'll be posted for your next update.

Yah it has a fan mounted on one end it creates a bit of heat In not concerned through if a few fail theyre are like 3 bucks.
For the plants the temps are a non issue with this light its the hps that heats the box up
gets up to 90 in there.

my closet stays around 79 to 82 with just 8 26 watt cfl's and when I put the bigger 65 watt ones in they can reach up to 90 but I leave the door cracked and it seems to keep them around 82-85.

Yah I usually have the door cracked for few hours during the day when im around to get fresh ari in there and to watch them grow

I just stumbled across your grow. Sweet! I'm looking to build a grow cab to use for vegging and clones and I got some good ideas off your efforts so thanks for that.

I want to keep the cab in my grow room and basically just have to make sure it's light tight so it doesn't mess with the Kush that are flowering for the next 7 weeks or so. I want to use CFLs or 4 foot fluorescent lights or both. Room for two tubs below and a clone tray on the top shelf.

Ain't this fun?!

Sure is lol. Just dont copy my magnetic light rail idea it sucked lol, well would work with some real magnets not these stupid fridge ones but too much work I replaced it with a chain.

I'm totally digging the carbon filter and would love to see it disassembled. That it muffles the fan is probably what interests me the most, though I am starting to wonder if just an ONA block in my room will be enough for the smell. A pet store, huh? Hmm. 11 bucks sounds like a great price if it does all that!
