Stanks Switch It Up In 2019

Congrats on the new babies. I'll be running a Jack as well, I got some from Sensi to try.
Cooper is a handsome boy. How's the potty training going?
Ah you got the real deal huh.....nice. Keep me in mind if you find a good one! I am working my way through the whole Sensi lineup. I still have to get their expensive stuff.

I don't think it was expensive. I caught a nice sale, everything was at least 35% off. I got some other classics as well like Master Kush from HSO, Panama x Tikal from ACE, and some other stuff I can't recall right now.

Is tropical seeds the site that wants you to pay $50+ just to be able to buy some of their "VIP" seeds? I looked at them a few months ago. At the time I think there were only like 6 or 7 strains in that "VIP" category. But if I recall the price of the seeds was decent enough.

I know there is a lot of knowledge floating around this thread so I thought I would ask for opinions and suggestions. This past winter I created some auto flower crosses to build up my auto flower seed inventory which at that time was pretty slim.

Anyway, after a lot of research and settled on a strain called Quarter Pounder auto to be my mother/father plant which I would work to reverse. One of the strains with which I crossed the QP auto was the famous Dark Devil auto. I just dusted a small bud on the Dark Devil auto plant I had growing at the time and it produced 14 seeds. Okay, I'm a bit long winded.

I decided to germinate and grow one of these QP X DDA auto fem seeds to see what it would produce. It sprouted on 8/8 which was 12 days ago. It was very slow going for about a week and then as autos do it started to take off pretty nicely. Today it is pushing out it's third node. The problem is the plant is barely 2" tall at the top of the plant. It is already starting to form side branches. Both the father and mother strains are sativa dominant. My question is are there ways to encourage a plant to grow vertically other then raising the light which I have at 24 inches above the top of the plant?

Any tips and suggestions are welcome.

I don't have a plan for him at this point. I suspect I will play it by ear.

The original plan was for us to get a girl lab this year and a female german sheppard next year, but we see how quickly the best laid plans change. Kind of makes me wonder why I spend so much time on planning LOL. Hard habit to break....Planning for every imaginable scenario is kind of beat into you in the Corps.

Plan for the worst hope for the best. Keep the karma on your side.

Be a sunny day

followed by a moon light-ee night.

Sub'd for the Slurricane flower pics.

How is getting around in your 10x10??

I'm thinking REAL hard about getting one. Likely going to, what brand you using?

Beez - I've grown a fair amount of DDA from seed of course and the duds look like that in your pic.

Dud is like a plant that runs 70-80 days and you get >zip. Well that's a dud for me.

Of course I'll still grow DDA... its time to pop some.

Slurricane doing well brother.

Tent is a Hydrohut Silver Edition 10 x 10. I bought mine from @VexGrows when he moved to florida. Got a great deal on it. I love the tent...from a room perspective. Its amazing to have room and then I like to keep the plants on 4 wheel dollies so they are mobile as well. Its actually shut down right now.

We are having basement issues right now. We shut the grow tents down when we got back off vacation. We are redoing a lot of stuff including moisture control down there (or at least an attempt). Hope to get things cleaned out and rolling soon....the babies are picking up steam.

Labryinth (Exotic Genetix) S1 Veg Day 4

A thank you to @bobrown14 for this little girl. Its starting to pick up steam as the roots get down to the Stank Soil.

Hindu Kush (Sensi Seeds) Fem Veg Day 11

Loving this little indica girl and her fat little leaves. Roots are really filling out the bottom of the cut. I figure I have another week or so before getting her into a 1 or 2 gallon pot, not sure quite yet. She looks like she is going to be a short little stout thing!

Skunk #1 (Sensi Seeds) Reg Veg Day 11

Last up are the two Skunk #1s from Sensi. Both seem to be doing very well with root explosion now that they are down in the good stuff. Like everything else from Sensi I have grown, they are growing well. Like the Hindu, these will likely have about another week before getting transplanted into bigger pots.

Skunk #2 (Sensi Seeds) Reg Veg Day 11

Damnit all! Where's the Slurricane?

Been a couple days on since the last Cooper update. He's been doing great with the exception of the occasional potty training incident. His personality is really starting to come up and he's a funny little dude. His curiosity is really starting to ramp up as well. Love this little ball of fur!

Stank Surprise Veg Day 5 (Stank Genetics)

Decided to pop a couple seeds I had laying around off a plant harvested at some point this year. I don't know what plant they are off or what may have pollinated them. I wanted to see if A) it would pop, and B) what might come from it. I am going to grow these out a bit differently than I normally do. Normally I run plants in their own pots. These are going to ultimately be grown in these half gallon pots until they are ready for up potting at which time I will transplant them into a 10 gallon pot together to be trained out and flipped quickly. It will be the first time I have grown multiple plants in single pots but it may be something I do more of in the future with the same strains.

Yikes, run there's PUPPY TEETH

Cooper sure looks happy. I'm glad he's in good hands.

Don't stress too much on the potty thing. It will all be a distant memory, it wont take long. Our last girl took here to 8 months to stop the poopy shit deal. I ended up putting down her own "special" throw rug. She started using that only. Then problems went away. It was like she had to learn potty training all over again in slow motion. Was weird. We made a big deal when she pooped outside. Now if my wife walks her and she poops, when she comes inside its a big party. Look what I did Dad..lol I did my business (outside). Yay us.

She has never made another accident. But when she gotta go, she's not subtle about it. Even at 4am ffs. lol

GL with the little ones, and good luck with the basement moisture.

The home we are moving out of, the basement is prolly the room we spend the most time in and its dry. First home ever with a dry basement. Prolly be my selling point.

It's a POS home but its got a dry basement and the roof dont leak anymore.
Location location location only been 4 shootings in the last 3 months.

Looks like you will have no room in your big tent in a couple of months. Interested to see how the Lab baby does for you. I wanted to run some Cube crosses from Exotic and could never bring myself to pull the trigger.Ill get my hands on some at some point and see what they can do for myself. Your puppy is super cute. We got a puppy earlier this year that was almost 6 months old and supposedly potty trained. It took us forever to get to where there are only very rare accidents. Even with bringing her out every 2 hours she would still piss all over the house. There were times she would refuse to do anything outside and then as soon as she came in she would piss of the floor. Crate training helped quite a bit, but she is strong willed and only took to potty training when she wanted to.

Took these pics last night but fell asleep before I could get to do the update so here's last nights update and then today's will follow a bit later. Everything is going well in the seedling/clone tent.

Afghani #1 FEM (Sensi Seeds) Seedling Day 7

Panama Haze FEM (ACE Seeds) Seedling Day 7

Jack Herer #1 FEM (Seedsman) Veg Day 14

Both the Jacks are doing well. #1 is perfect at this point while #2 had a little leaf funk/mutation early on but seems to have grown through it. I estimate that both of these will be up potted to 1 gallon pots around September 1st.

Jack Herer #2 FEM (Seedsman) Veg Day 14

Slurricane FEM (In-House Genetics) Veg Day 14

Last up is the 'Cane. Its starting to show a mutation of some sort with the new growth. It had a leaf mutation back a couple nodes earlier and now we have new stuff starting to show up. I will let it grow a bit more and try to capture a good picture of it. I took a bit of a close up of it in these but its still kind of small to show it. She will get up potted to a 2 gallon pot around the 1st of September.

Looks like you're back on track again. All the plants are looking healthy.
