Stanks Switch It Up In 2019

Hey Stank, Love the new puppy, if you start cloning him, i'll take one!

Thanks brother! When I figure out how to do that.....I will let you know.

He's doing a lot better and really starting to get comfortable at the house. His personality is starting to come out which I love. He's still a handful. Thought we were going to get through our first day with no potty accidents yesterday but no....he saw us back by the bathrooms and bedrooms and decided to come down there and pee in the hallway. Maybe today with be the first day! I keep hoping!
:woohoo:Congratulations on the new addition, :thumb::circle-of-love:I'm jealous- plain and simple.:welldone:

Hey Dynamo! Thanks bud and he is pretty awesome! Definitely adds some spice to the life! How's the garden?

Congrats on the pup, he sure is a pretty boy. Congrats on the little ladies in the solo cups too.

GL with them specially the little fella!

On peeing in the wrong place.

What we did with our 2 new young ladies was just praise the heck out of them when they pee and poop outside and ignore them when they mess up in the house. Just turn your back and ignore. Then promptly clean up.

This could take months or a few days. With our 2 girls, 1 got it the first day. The 2nd was not so cooperative. Not sure why either. Usually females are easy to potty train. She went months of pissing in the house. At least she chose to do it on our throw rugs that are basically door mats that are softer. So it was pretty easy to clean up.

she wood piss and look for a reaction. We gave her none. Just iggy and eventually she came around. Neither has made an accident since they've decided to use the proper facility. Lots of short walks with lots of positive praising when they do the business proper. I still praise them when they come in after pooping outside. They actually come running to me now, "hey dad I did my business outside" with a big smile. I make a big deal about it. They really love it, its something they do everyday. May as well celebrate.

Hey all! Hope everyone is having a great weekend. Picked a couple zucchini today. They are the Green Machine Zucchini, from High Mowing Organic.

Never had them get anywhere near this big before. Think Ms Stank will make some zucchini bread from the big one.

Afghani (Sensi Seeds) Seedling Day 1

Starting off with a couple new editions to the garden. I am running another Afghani from Sensi seeds in hopes I can actually try smoking some this time around. Last one was a victim of the fungus gnats and whatever other gunk I might have run into with her. I was very impressed with how the 1st Afghani girl was growing and I have had great luck with Sensi Seeds so it was a no brainer to run another one.

I started this one is a pot size that looks to be closer to a half gallon size. I am exploring starting them in this size vs the solo cup and see what my growth comparison is like.

Panama Haze (ACE Seeds) Seedling Day 1

Next up is one that I have been looking forward to for a while. I popped a seed a bit over a week ago but it turned out to be a no show so we dropped another one the same day we dropped the Afghani girl. Very excited to be running this sativa!!

She was a little slower than the Afghani girl in breaking soil but she is here and thats all I care about. I will not be vegging this one for very long. Will likely top it once and spread her out a bit and flip her....maybe a month or a little longer but she will not be vegged like my traditional plants are vegged.

Durban Poison (Cannabiogen) Seedling Day 4

Next is Ms Stank's Durban Poison. We really liked the effects of the Durban Poison in our cannacaps so it was a no brainer to grow out another one and see what we might find. This particular strain has been a bit of a pain to germinate.....at least from this breeder.

This plant was one of two that popped from the 2nd drop of Durban (First drop resulted in an 0-2). The second drop was better but the other Durban plant died out after getting its tap root wrapped in a circle. This one struggled with getting out of the shell as well.....and really needed a lot of help. The cotyledons couldn't shed the membrane and seemed to have been negatively effected. It has taken a while for the next set of leaves to start showing up.

I think this one is looking like it may make it out of the seedling stage but she isn't in the clear yet. Hopefully it will be a female!

Jack Herer #1 (Seedsman) Veg Day 8

Here we have our fastest growing Jack. The roots are starting to explode with growth and the leaves are following suit. Looks like the plants are starting to hit their stride.

This will be my first photo Jack Herer so I am looking forward to seeing it grow out compared to the Auto version we grew from Greenhouse. Not much to do at this point but sit and wait!

Jack Herer #2 (Seedsman) Veg Day 8

This one is showing a little funk on a set of leaves....not sure if it was an isolated incident or if its a mutation of some sort but either way we are just gonna let her go. Its growing nicely otherwise.

Slurricane (In-House Genetics) Veg Day 8

Last up for today's updates is this little gal. She seems happy and healthy and is growing relatively hiccup free at this point....just like we like em! Cheers!

Go Slurricane!!

Do you plant to have Cooper neutered?

I don't have a plan for him at this point. I suspect I will play it by ear.

The original plan was for us to get a girl lab this year and a female german sheppard next year, but we see how quickly the best laid plans change. Kind of makes me wonder why I spend so much time on planning LOL. Hard habit to break....Planning for every imaginable scenario is kind of beat into you in the Corps.

Well.....potty training with a puppy is what it is. Boys are more difficult than girls for sure. He went a day and half without any accidents but then he peed on the rug twice yesterday and then pooped on the rug this morning.

We have blocked his access to rugs at this point and he will have to do it on the hard wood.

Overall he has been doing excellent but potty training isn't his strength. Conversely he is a natural on the leash.....a breeze really except when he gets excited when he on the way the way home on his walks. He likes to run home.....and its hard to say now when I get to see those little ears flopping when he runs.....and that tail doing its thing! But if I tell him to stop, he will walk.

I come for the puppy pics (damn he's cute) and stay for the plant pics, ha!
Thanks Ween....he is kind of adorable (until he pees or poops on my rug) for sure! I try to get good pics of him but as soon as I think I have a great shot, he moves and ruins the shot LOL. Even when sleeps....I had a perfect one lined up and right as I pressed the button, he rolled over.
