Stanks Go Perpetual In 2018!

Looks great VS! And you definitely got the winner JH seed :).

I’m glad you mentioned that :thumb:

I was just about to ask about it. Hey VS - what breeder does that JH auto come from. I have a cunning plan to run some autos outside next season (like a little auto perpetual grow within the outdoor photopetiod) and Jack is one of the ones I want. Just starting to look around for breeder options. Shed is right, that one looks a winner! :yummy:

Enjoying all your updates too - there’s always lots to catch up on here!

Should have several nice colas on her.

I hope so! We are counting on that, both of us are excited to try the Harley

She's a good looking girl

Thanks brother, yes she is!

Awesome updates. Very pretty garden Stanks!

Thanks Gramps, we appreciate the kind words!

Those plants are picture perfect

We appreciate the kind words Lowded, hope you had a great weekend brother!

Hey Shed, thanks brother! Better to be lucky than good!

Beautiful stuff Stank’s, love that Harlequin female!

I know this is old news, @Blew Hiller but I also wash with 1/3 lemon juice, 1/3 baking soda in 2-3 gallons of warm water. Then I rinse in plain water and hang. I tested both washed and unwashed this last Grow and the washed stuff was smoother!! Crazy but true and now that both have cured for a few weeks...the washed stuff smells better:)

Thanks for kind words and info Newty! I think maybe we will experiment around with the lemon juice and baking soda at some point and compare it to the H2O2/water wash.

Very nice super models Van :)
Very healthy looking gals brother, gotta love them nice green plants!
Blessed Buds our friend and be well :passitleft:

Thanks for swinging by Arctic! Hope you had a great weekend buddy!

I am growing the Greenhouse auto version Amy. The batch as a whole hasn't been a great success.....but the plant I am growing is certainly do well. I keep waiting for it to start throwing pistils but it just keeps getting bigger and bigger!

Morning everybody!

Hope everyone had a great weekend and your gardens are green! We have a couple updates coming this morning but I am holding out for lights on for the flower girls. Speaking of flowering, I am a bit nervous to look at the flowering Stankberry this morning. She is stretching like MAD. As of yesterday she had stretched just over 10 inches in the last 8 days. We only have another inch to giver her in her night time tent. We might be forced to flip the Harlequin and the 2nd Nukehead sooner than we planned (Friday) because I don't think she will fit in the night time tent for 4 more days. Guess we will see!

I do think that will have our first pictures of hairs when the lights come on!

Im Alittle late but non the less here now hope you dint mind my chair in the room i notice your in northeast by chance you in massachusett?
We are Massholes! Well I am a transplant......but yes. Ms Stank is a native Masshole

Is there a spot on 420 magazine site like a swap shop or similar? Or better named a Classified section? I think that would be nice to have.

Jack Herer Auto Day 39

This thing keep surprising me and just keeps on getting bigger and bigger. Still no pistils on this girl yet (sure hope she is a girl....I haven't even looked) but I have to imagine its going to happen soon.

I gave this girl about a gallon of ACT with a splash of Cal Mag (just in case) yesterday and I have decided to raise her up a bit closer to the lights so she is sitting on an empty 1 gallon pot. I also top dressed her with some ground malted barley, probably about a 1/4 cup...maybe a little less. So far so good though....I am pretty happy with her so far.

Your Jack is JACKED @Van Stank Looks Great

Stankberry #1, Flip Day 10, Day 2 with Hairs

First picture of the Stankberry after she started to show hairs. She is stretching like mad! Measured her this morning.....35 inches tall from the top of the pot. At least she only grew an inch yesterday.

I gave this girl a drink yesterday with about a half gallon of water and some Cal Mag and Silica splashed in. Her scent is starting to turn a little sweeter. She doesn't smell like her mom or dad....but its a very pleasant scent!

Man that is a good JH, Stank. I mean, I don't know that it's any better than the ones we have, 'cause that might just be slighting your skill and the quality of the stank soil... But yeah it does seem interesting that yours is SO much better looking than the rest of the group grow's.

I think we should take a hard look at what we're all doing differently. One thing I'm noticing is that you're doing a lot more training. I thought maybe it was just the quality and amount of light you had, but I think Jesse's has quite a bit of light too, but not as much training, and his is not quit keeping pace with yours.

But again, could just be your green thumb and the good soil/inputs lol

I wish I knew what I was doing that is either different or 'right'. I really haven't done much with this plant. When a branch extends up enough for me to spread it out , I do. I pluck a couple leaves per day to open a couple lower shoots. But aside from that, I really don't touch it much.

Its growth has made me consider doing more direct sow planting. Out of the crop I have going right now, this Jack Herer Auto and the Stankberry were both direct sowed (no paper towel step). I am kind of interested in experimenting a little more with that concept.

For example someone buys a new light and the one replaced starts collecting dust. Or someone upgrades to a larger tent and the old one starts collecting dust. Maybe someone has some unopened bottles of nutrients they'll never use because they went another route. So the unused bottles are just collecting dust. Or someone just decides to quit growing completely for whatever reason leaving them with a bunch of unwanted equipment.

Im sure the Mods and others would think the same as me, People would start offering Things that are Illegal

Im sure this has been discussed in the Past and was NIXED for various Reasons

But I agree in the premise, But not sure it would fly

Looking forward to catching up with the plants on the update Mr van. I'm sure everything's looking stellar!

Once that JH start showing pistils (and it has to be a girl with those pink pipe cleaners duh!) I think you should move it up even closer to the lights. It's going to to get a lot bigger but with that training, not much taller. Also, with a plant that dense, make sure you get every bud site exposed or you'll end up with a lot of green buds under the canopy that don't get enough light to do their thing. I try to cull the deep unders about 2 weeks into flower if it looks like they're not going to break through.

That's a heck of a stretch on the Stankberry! If my AK does that I'll be folding those stems in half :).

I love the idea but unfortunately I agree with Chris that it would a slippery slope to start walking. People always push everything.
