I’m way behind too lolI have a lot of catching up to do. But just wanted to say I hope you feel better brother. Excited to check in on the garden.
Have you heard of horse tail van stank ? Great for silica and also foilar sprayer .I did increase the amount of Neem that i used for the last bath by just a little bit. Didn't seem to like it but I can't say how pleased I am with the results of this technique, just gotta perfect the amounts and timeline for letting the Neem in the bath dry or settle in.
Glad I am feeling better as well. Was running a fever near 102 for a while but I think I have it beat. Was only running 99-100 yesterday.
I’m going to grown out a nice Hindu Kush one day . Very well done buddyHindu Kush Flip Day 33, Day 23 With Hairs
Ms Stanks girl is rolling along nicely. I moved her around today to try and take some pictures and had a lot of those long colas flop around a bit and started to lean. So I got a couple 4' poles and stuck them in the pot and tied the flopping colas up to it to try and keep her looking good.
She is producing an incredible amount of frost and is smelling really good. Ms Stank top dressed her girl with all the goodies for the home stretch. We have a couple of these colas that are about a good foot long. Hopefully she will fatten up!
We have final weights on the Northern Lights after 10 days of drying.
Talk about close....really close!
Without factoring in some testers I have set around, we have a grand total of 453.77 grams. It takes 453.59 grams for a pound.......so we have just barely hit that fateful mark!!! I knew it was gonna be close!
So there are multiple types of horse tail.I have but I can never find it here. We are always on the lookout for it!!
Man it can be overwhelming takingvthis Cross mixed with that s1 f1 guess once you knwo it you think nonthi g of it though study harder joe lolWell I can't speak for what the standard breeding practice is Dabber, but I can give you two answers to your F5 question. First one is they grew out a bunch of F4 seeds and selected the male or males and the female or females (many breeders will use multiple males and females for genetic diversity or whatever reason) and do an open pollinate among them all. Not an uncommon practice at all
Another option will be to keep working a F4 female that you like and cross it to the original male of the line.
I don't know a whole lot that do much reversing to further the F generation. Honestly I would imagine if you asked 10 different breeders out there, you would get at least a few different answers to how they work their lines (if they even do.....as we all know they love to create new strains but rarely work them past F2s).
Congrats man that is hugeHere is a small tester......this literally was the difference in hitting a pound or being just under it!
Yup parry sound , Ontario forest fire for two weeks my wife said crazy they can’t get it under control and apparently there was smoke near us we are about two hrs away from parry sound . Crazy scary timesI do it like that but for the 2-1 I wrap em in foil and bake in oven @250 then unwrap and mop for the 1 or until separation. Alway delish and never dry. Stank got a good method that works every time. Man I love ribs.
Congrats on your harvest Stank - that bud looks tasty too. Bud rot... I hate that as bad as mites. As much as I hate sayin this, mites can wash off. Prefer to not have to deal with it. Why I don't run much this time of year.
Try Horsetail fern tea sprayed on in veg to mid way in flower. Kills the spores. Mold can happen in a heart beat when it gets humid. Right now here, the dew point is about the same as the outdoor temps at night so think walking in soup. Yuk. Plants suffer in this shit. I start sweating just thinking about it.
Lots of fires every where. Prayers out the to firefighters and to the folks living in the danger zones. Cali and Ontario getting hit hard.
Good thing she took a clone!hindu kush. @Ms Stank! That looks like you got something special.
Congratulations, to me that plant was picture perfect, thanks for sharing. We have final weights on the Northern Lights after 10 days of drying.
