Stanks Go Perpetual In 2018!

Northern Light Clone 1.2 Day 71

Haven't shown any pics of the clones in about a month. Here is the Northern Lights that Ms Stank is growing out to cross with the Harlequin. She is getting flipped this week since she's had about week to adjust to her 5 gallon pot. She got a drink of ACT yesterday in prep for moving upstairs. Ms Stank has to do her final inspection to make sure she is clear of any possible infestation. Gonna spray her again tomorrow just to make sure!

I like how you guys train your plants, my next goal.

Good thing she took a clone!
That put a smile on my face! Dude that kush is UNREAL! breeder please lol... yeah cause I need more seeds lol. But for real that thing is amazeballs!

She is from Sensi Seeds as well.....same place the Northern Lights. Seems that they do things the right way there!

Awesome job Van! Beautiful plants...sorry about the BCP, depending on the name "brand", that neem can be some pretty potent stuff!

That Hindu is looking magnificent though! Hope the white widow lives up to her name for ya!

Had something else to comment on but I've done forgot :hmmmm:....:roorrip:

Good luck to the both of you and keep it up, your killin it brother!

Have some of this LA while you take a break, we know you deserve it :passitleft:

Thanks for the kind words brother. I am very happy with Ms Stank's Hindu! Hoping she will fatten up nicely! She smells great! A sweet fruity scent that I can't put my finger on....but we like it!

:passitleft:
Congratulations, to me that plant was picture perfect, thanks for sharing.

Hey Eggs....good to see ya brother! Thanks for the kind words. She was a pleasure to grow and has been becoming very good to smoke as well. Trying to let her have a proper dry and cure before I start tearing into her too. Here have a puff of her! :passitleft:

We have final weights on the Northern Lights after 10 days of drying.

Talk about close....really close!

Without factoring in some testers I have set around, we have a grand total of 453.77 grams. It takes 453.59 grams for a pound.......so we have just barely hit that fateful mark!!! I knew it was gonna be close!
Congratulations Stanks good job.

Okay, I am encountering something new to me and need some advice, suggestions. I have two Northern Light plants growing in my small tent that I use for breeding. One of the Northern Light plants is a Sensi Seeds version. The other a Nirvana (Seedsman) Northern Light IBL version. I sprayed the heck out of the Sensi plant with feminizing spray to make boy parts which I have been able to do. All that aside, here is my problem. Both plants continued to stretch and are now inches from the light. The pistils on the top of the plant are curling up prematurely. I think from the light being too bright, not from heat. I wanted to learn how to super crop them but am not sure I can as the stalks are very woody/hard/firm and not the least bit pliable. I think if I were to bend them over they might snap off. The light is as high as it can go. What do you guys think?
Been, I have supercropped almost my entire room this grow. I just bend it either until it stays down or breaks, if it breaks it will continue growing and filling in along where you bent/broke it. Just don't break it off. It heals itself.

Well @Ms Stank, others grow with roots in water, or coco, or with the DBHBB kit (often w RO water) and they all have clear instructions/guidelines on bottles for how much to use... and there’s still a whole lot of growers mojo that has to come in on top of that, to get plants that look like your kush, yeah baby! :thumb:

There be a lotta mojo in Stankhouse :Namaste:

Hey Ween, good to have ya join us brother. It moves a bit fast at times, but there is usually always something going on here. Feel free to ask any questions ya might have, on anything. Cheers enjoy some of this ....:passitleft:

Thanks Brother! Since you mentioned it, I have a follow up question from the trim cure discussion over at duggans. You said you hang for 2-3 days then into paper bags and in fridge for low and slow but I thought you were only supposed to hang for 3-4 hours with that method. Did you just adapt it or has that changed?

So I saw a measurement that @Graytail used and I liked it. It was Grams per day for a plant. I think its a great combination of yield vs time and something I want to start tracking along with Grams per gallon of soil.

I like these because they can be a bit more telling for me in my perpetual. I will have to go back through and dig up the numbers on all the strains so far. The grams per day is a good one for anyone that might be struggling to meet your medicinal demands. You can compare that vs what you find you use per day and get a good idea on your production needs vs your production.

I keep mine in the fridge for about 10-14 days. That usually brings me pretty close to the 65% humidity level in my buds (unless the buds are huge.....less time for smaller buds).

I find that the smell of the buds is best when I keep them in the fridge to just short of the 65% level. Then I go into jars and burp it down to 62%. Doesn't take long from 65%, usually only a few days in the jars and its done.

If my colas are too big (like the northern lights), I trim the buds off the stem after the 2-3 day hang dry and go directly into the paper bags (I like 50 grams per bag roughly....find its easy to manage and drys nicely at that weight)

I just kind of made this system into what I like and what works best for me. I like having a 2-3 hang dry after doing the bud wash. Others might only do a few hours but I want to make sure any water from the bud wash has dried up.
