Staker's 2017: SSSDH, Killer Purps, Dolato, Candyland & Breeder's Test Grows

Harvest Candyland, Chopped 4/8 after 60 days flower. I could have let her get fatter to add some weight, but she had the smell I wanted, so I took her. Hung whole, no wash, no trim, just pulled the fans. Can't wait to go for a run after a couple rips of this...the sativa leaner I had was great summer weed.

Seems like mutants happen with a good number of Granddaddy Purple seeds I drop. Your Mutants May Vary.

She sure is beautiful though, and the flowers are incredible. She was so oily that I couldn't bring myself to cull her, despite low yield no stretch. While she couldn't grow out of her own way, or make normal leafs, her smells and terps are spectacular. I'll post up some impressions when I've gotten a taste of her in the new mix.

Thanks Yeti, she's special for sure. I took a clone to run again, single cola style in coco, and it's growing fairly well, but still with the same habit. Probably let her go after though....and be glad for the couple zips. If she grew better, I'd be tempted to keep her around longer. Smoke on the last one was pretty great, it's grapey and fun.

Total Daywrecker today. Well, just yesterday, we also got a new 2 footer from the pr0n store, that's wide as hell. Today, I signed a contract that will pay me more than I'm worth, over the next eight weeks. I'm like, just one before lunch right? I loaded up SSSDH too, like the Universe knew it was time to learn a lesson. My wife joining me and saw the whole thing... and said she knew instantly that I wasn't going to want to drive her to the gym lol. So, I stayed home to trim and garden...Until I can turn my devices back on and work again. Wow. This is a cautionary tale, yes, but also a good idea lol. Have fun.


Trimming the Candyland before she gets jarred and the stink is tremendous. You ain't hiding it, nope. Running a spare carbon filter setup to keep it quiet. Neighbors all smoke or grow, and Boston is like one big dorm anyway...but it's good to stay low. The Dolats are up soon.

At first I figured you were growing seeds from personally friends but somewhere you mentioned ihg and Dolato... So me being me got curious and started a search.
Didn't take long and as soon as I found them I realized I can't have them.....sold out. They had some other nice strains too. While searching I also found another company that does Gelato crosses...

I guess I'm trying to say thanx, you unknowingly pointed me in The right direction and I found new seed banks and new breeders on my journey.

That's awesome to hear. You're welcome my friend. I'm often borrowing from BL's journal, which is where I go first, when I need to find out what I'm growing next. He's had some good luck with IHG, and I can certainly attest that what I'm seeing is legit. Production on the OGKB leaner is for real too, she's almost filled in, and has a while yet to go. I think that's kinda amazing for a cookie plant. The Gelato leaner will yield a good bit less, but she's got some amazing buds, frost and color. I'm hoping she'll be dense, and that she'll give enough, to make her the choice for a keeper. She's going to be sizzling when I pull her... straight up. Haven't even sampled yet, and she's got at least one more push of trichs here at the end.

Hope y'all don't mind I took these in the tent. That big X gallon pot is bit of a hassle

She's a machine. Stretchy, a huge drinker, low nute intake overall, not a big calcium hog, you can go lightly to moderate. She took the flush well, and I liked the timing of it, being right after stretch. She's not as spot on as her sister, but she's going to finish well from here. I'm expecting her to rust up this next coming week, and then take another two to chop. I have no idea what the breeder times are, but clearly I'm seeing the ends of the spectrum parent wise. Loving it.

She's a stunner. If I had my other LED in there, she'd get more color. Seems to come out more with far reds i.m.e.

After the flip, the calyx at the node junctions started to swell and frost to an unusually large size. Like a big raisin, not quite a small grape. Tremendous resin production, and swollen gnarley looking nuggets. Scent is starting to come on, not much so far, but it's threatening to be on the dank side. She's really spot on. She's leaching out, you can see her starting to fade out the big fans, and she's a touch more emerald or lighter than before. She got a touch of Fire on her last feed, she's getting just water/sugar/benes til chop. She's got to be a least a week or two ahead of her sister.

Beautiful CareStaker. Breeder flower time on Dolato is 56-63. Mine looked like your #1. Got caught up watching it color up, waiting for trichomes, & ended up at 69 days. Too long...potent but got heavy & dull. Trichs change very slowly from clear on her.

Respect brother, thank you. I'm liking what I'm seeing with IGH, I'm going to order whatever looks good on 4/20, whatever they got going. I'll do the same with CSG, and a couple others.

I figure the #1 is the fast one, she's already in flush, and is ready to pull anytime - runoff <150ppm/inputs. Just some sugar now really, I've cut everything else. I'll aim her for about 58 days.

#2 has no orange stigmas yet...like none wth. She is super productive, and the frost on the buds is about even. Going to be hard to rule this one out. Clones are as leggy as SSSSH#1 haze pheno in solos... ummm indica lol. We shall see. I'll aim that one for 63, so she's in flush too, got a last taste today.....a touch of Fire - 350ppm total organics/minerals mostly, some snyth. If I feed more that that I'm over feeding. I'll need three waters (9 days) and she'll be ready to pull too if she decides to combust into ripenes in a single poof.

I do it the easy way, but I'm in legal land and a Med patient with very provable needs. That's not for everyone. If you don't want to use your 'info', you can use those prepaid ones at some checkouts. I've wanted to try the Bit though, even better.

It's starting to stank, and the buds are looking righteous, thanks Skunk. Conditions have been decent, so the smoke should be nice if I pull em right.

#2 is looking like she's going to just recede and rust out, so she'll get the pull in 2wks, I can see how she'll get there. I'll take BL's advice and not let them go too far...but she's gonna need a couple more days than her sister, maybe 5 to 7. Although I've been pulling by smell and sight, I'll take a peak at these (glands) to see what they look like. Swelling real nice now.


Edit: So...what's everyone getting for seeds on 4/20...what are ya looking at?

Just ordered 5 hso black dog and 5 royal cookies and a red diesel and got 11 freebies for around 100 bucks. Seedsman just went by the promos. Wish I had the patience for regs at the moment maybe next year I'll have more space to move on to a bunch of new genetics. I wanna try exotic genetics Mr nice amongst others

That sounds like a great list. They're on my list as well, the Black Dog. I'll check out the red diesels, that sounds like fun too. I'm probably going to cookie myself out... the last three were all cookies xs. The Regs I work into my schedule here and there, one or two at a time. If I like a strain, I look for a pheno in Reg form if possible....run a few to keep one for a bit. Exotic is supposed to be nice, lots of good reports, Mr. Nice has the rep for sure. I'm narrowing down some of the same exact choices.
