High everyone and welcome to THC Thursday.
Today is 23 days from seed.
Per my man Graytail and co-signed by Doc Bud himself, I gave my girls Transplant and Tea last night.
I took a couple of pics before I left for work to show you how they look.

You will notice I added the Advanced LED XML 350 to the tent alongside the Budmaster COB -6

Honorable mention to Shiggity for putting the bug in my ear about week 3 in veg.:passitleft:
Both GT and CS own this light and I read in their journals posts about shaping the color using the adjustable knobs.
I think I understand why they did it. More females? Shorter node spacing in veg?
Of the 14 brix seedlings, only 4 of them are feminised.
(Bubblegum and 707 Truthband) the remainder are regular seeds.
Less red and more blue lighting along with the Cree whites (what are the colors on these?? Possibly 5000k?) should help female ratios?

I have the knob #1 (white crees) at its maximum. The #2 knob is how should I describe it..I have it just barely past the off position.
The blue lights in the center of the clusters appear brighter than the red / pink lights around the perimeter. If that makes sense. :scratchinghead:

Atulip, I also love growing autos, but they just aren't as consistent or test as high as regulars. But I really love growing them and have been for years. I am searching now for that strain that tests strong and grows as consistent as possible. About to get my Fast Buds autos West Coast OG and Six Shooter tested -- sponsor Herbie Seeds.
 
The XML350 has ten 10 watt Cree whites, but they're probably driven at about half power, so they only amount to maybe 50 watts of the total 330. The blurples are the other 280. The whites are a bit more efficient but not a lot, so 80% or so of the intensity comes from the blurples.

I haven't fiddled with the spectrum, myself - I just left them both at full power. The Cree whites are a human-range spectrum, so they have a lot of green and yellow that plants don't need, but they have a good balance of red/blue. And the blurples are balanced too, so I'm not sure how much we can actually manipulate spectrum. :hmmm: Although ... I didn't look at the color of the whites. If they're blue-spectrum, then we can turn down red by turning down the blurples. Red causes more/earlier stretch at the flip, and blue stimulates foliage growth in veg. There have been times when I would have liked to turn the red down in the bloom room to slow a really fast stretcher, or boost it to help a short one.

It's a friggin piece o' granite though. Turn it on and forget it. :cheesygrinsmiley: :Love:

I have a total of 7 autos in 6 pots. 2 are doing fairly well.
The others are struggling something awful. If they don't bounce back they may get evicted.:wood:

Different strokes for different folks. Never had an issue with potency, or consistency in stable auto strains. But my photoperiods get grown from seed as well and I have no intentions of keeping "that one super elite rare clone", they're all good smoke and I like hauling in something new each week. :)


They're a little scraggly looking. But I've probably harvested worse ones lol.

Looks great in there. I'm seeing lots of growth. HB soil takes all the fun out of growing, kidding. Looks like your Lights are easly up to the task at hand. Flowering should be spectacular.
