I agree, the autos in a 3 gallon are making roots below...I just never had the leaf necrosis I see now on some of them in my previous auto runs.
I figured a stunted auto at this point is a bad thing.

I've had a couple that started slow and broke out into a run at some point. My last Dark Devil Auto that went to harvest did that. I believe that success had much to do with supplemental lighting introduced about midway through. Worth a thought if they still lag in a couple weeks. 23watt CFLs are cheap, very efficient and easy to use.
And why would that be photo? Quick turnaround, simplicity of growspace set-up, increased potency in the latest strains being introduced and the ability to max out a harvest with diligent cultivation practices make autos an excellent choice. I've had it on good authority from a professional cultivator that the current line of available autos contain numerous strains that'd be suitable for someone growing for oil production.
One has only to watch arteekay and JayBliz work their magic, pulling multiple ounces every two weeks from their auto tent to get a bit excited about the potential of autos. Not to mention a number of photo growers slip them in here and there for some different product during times when floor space becomes available.
Autos aren't what they used to be. Coming off my soapbox now.

I'm also a few weeks behind as I just got my 4 new plants to pop up yesterday. They will get a much longer veg time waiting on the Tangies to flip and finish.
I started out with autos, so I tend to be a bit partial. My security breech sending me back into the closet pretty much stopped my photo growing for now, just as I was getting the hang of it. Found myself wondering if the universe wasn't steering me back to autos. I miss the big girls already.

Sometimes the brain cells go dead and I miss the subtleties. Lol! I'm testing out THC capsules today photo, so I'm trying not to smoke anything. They've had me pretty buzzed for almost seven hours now. Don't think I'm coming down yet either. These babies are keepers.
Thanks Stage, yes this run of Kosher Kush turned out very well. I really like the bud structure of this strain but i was warned of lower yields with this strain but the quality is supposed to make up for that. If i get close to 20 z's., i'l be happy. The smells with this are way fruitier than i thought...i was expecting a lot more dankness cuz of the kush, but it is very sweet with some dank but more fruit!

i was saying how that dark devil is an auto id like to grow and those capsules look wonderfull and i asked ,what do you use to transfer the oil into the caps ? i was thinking one of the syringes we have at the hospital would be perfect , the caps have me excited.
