Sqwheels' Perpetual 2L Hempy + Moms

Sqwheels, for the foliar application, I don't worry about pH......yours is higher than I've encountered before. I would down it to around 7. You won't cause any pH lockout because you are not at the root end of the plant. The leaves will absorb what they need. They are looking great, keep it up. The RO unit will "waste" more water than it produces, but it is worth it. Don't use the waste for anything as the impurities are more concentrated after the RO is taken away from it. You think your water is bad now, the waste will be twice as bad.

Gotta tag this and come back and read through your journal but gotta git stuff done. Just wanted to wish you the best, and I look forward to reading and getting caught up to here. Only read 6 pgs but gotta run.

Hi X,
Thanks for all the added info on the RO unit. I'll look into it some more...but if what OG said is true (wastes more than it produces) I won't do it. I think I've found a happy spot for my girls for now.

OG,
I had no idea about the wasted water with an RO system, obviously I haven't investigated them at all. Thanks for answering the pH ?? and foliar feeding, I think I've asked this a couple times and nobody had anything to say about it. I thought it probably wouldn't matter but ya never know.

420fied,
Thanks for the looking in... and the compliment, truly kind words from a master at this. I let them get waayyy too big, but I'll know better next time. I've swapped my wonder woman clones now too. Update shortly.

HMG,
Appreciate the kind words, :thankyou:

Bassman,
:welcome: and thanks for joining my journal. Best wishes are much appreciated. Hope you enjoy the read.

Gotta go work on that update... :circle-of-love:

Hi All,

Weekly update...Group shot early this morning, they are stretching now and I have to move the light regularly, couple inches every couple days

A couple misc flower sites

DSCN04305.JPG

Most of the large fan leaves on these White Widows have 9 leaves, some have 11, I hope that's a good sign of things.

I've moved the Wonder Woman clones (cut 9-15) into the flower room, they are growing really well and I don't want them to get as big as the White Widow got before switching...So, this is #4, she was the smallest of all the clone cuts and I really didn't think she'd survive, boy was I wrong.
DSCN04335.JPG

Followed by her sisters #'s 2 and 3...I number them according to size and how I cut them off the mother...but now they all look the same

DSCN04402.JPG

So after rearranging things and finding a way to raise them closer to the light this is what's in flower now. 1 Wonder Woman I got from my buddy back in Aug and I chopped her to make 4 clones. 4 White Widows, from my own hermied grow and started from seed 8-23. And three of the clones taken from the original Wonder Woman on 9-15
DSCN04422.JPG

It looks kinds dark towards the bottom in the pic, but it's not really that bad.

I've saved the original top from Wonder Woman to try the bonsai mom technique and when I top her I'll start another clone...just in case I kill her in transplant process

those plants look wonderful, you will have some monsters when you're done, that wonder woman likes to stretch at first, but she will settle down and stack on the dense nuggets

All caught up. I'm growing in hydro and am interested in the Wonder Woman for a future grow. So I'm looking forward to anything I find on that before I order seeds.

Your grow looks great! Keep up the good work!

Looking good Sqwheels, let us know when you have to start watering more than once a day for the big ones, may need a 3 or 4 liter pot minimum.

check out my recent journals for some wonder woman, I grew it for about a year now and am just finishing up the last of it.

WOW..... those things EXPLODED. Next time go straight to 12/12. ;)

Your plants look very healthy and you should be proud. Everything looks really good.

Hi 420fied,

ya, right...exploded for sure. I don't know if I have enough space to mature them all. I tried to adopt a couple away today but by buddy didn't have any room for them. I think CrimsonK is right, they are gonna be monsters.

She won't have to transplant or water more than once a day.

Not going to need transplant?? That's good to know. I don't want to have to do that. I will probably end up having to stake them somehow tho...we'll see what happens

They seem to be very happy right now, let's hope they stay that way. :)

:peace:

Hi CK20,

Thanks for the compliment, they do look good...but like I said a few posts back, it's all the plant...they just put up with me. I think the Wonder Woman is slowing in the stretch area, I noticed today that one of the White Widows has past her in height now.

I got to sample some Wonder Woman today, kinda fruity taste and smell, but my first impression I was not overly impressed with the buzz, but that could have something to do with the fact that I was completely distracted with the company and conversation that was going on as well, and I think I only got to hit it a couple times...hopfully my harvest will prove to be better than that.

She won't have to transplant or water more than once a day.

I would never transplant once the plant is flowering, but would spring for the extra 50 cents worth of perlite just to cut down on watering duties. She doesn't need to pack them together due to her plant limit.

Hi fromscratch,
I was trying to mimic his SOG but I didn't quite hit the mark :) I should have switched them to 12/12 much earlier than I did. I hope they finish as nice as they look right now.

:peace:

Hi All,

So...I'm in this morning watering the girls and find this...
RSCN0462.JPG

the picture isn't very good but I can see them. Hermied, Oh No...

Well I shouldn't be that surprised I knew it was a possibility cause of where the seeds came from. I pulled her/him out of there and chopped it up. I suspect that maybe 1 or 2 more of them may also be hermie, I need to watch for a day or two to be sure.

I was curious about the roots...so I pulled the root ball out of the 2ltr. They are packed in there pretty tight but came apart easily when I poked around in there. I've seen worse on regular house plants but I don't know what's too tight for MJ

RSCN0463.JPG

What do you think?

Oh ya, forgot to mention, this was the UBT victim. I'm bummed.

Nice, white roots! They look very much like the ones I showed in my 'Come SOG with me' journal. That's a healthy root ball. I don't understand why people continue to assume that the plants will get rootbound in a 2L. I have ran hundreds through mine with no problems. Go straight to 12/12 and you'll never have a problem.

Sorry about the Herm.

Hi All...Weekly Update

I could swear I posted this message a couple days back, but it's not here now so I'll post it again.

I've had to kill 3 of the 4 White Widow seeds I planted...Hermied. I found the first on 12th, the next on the 14th and the 3rd on the 15th. Here's a couple pics
RSCN0470.JPG

RSCN0472.JPG

It's been 2 weeks since I switched to 12/12 for the original Wonder Woman and the 1 White Widow I have left. They look pretty good (pics below). No signs of hermie on this last White Widow :phew:but I'm not going to trust it...I'll keep watching closely to make sure I don't accidentally pollinate. The other 3 Wonder Woman clones have now been in 12/12 for 1 week, and they also look good, no signs of flowers yet.

Group Shot...you can see that White Widow A has stretched considerably more than the Wonder Woman, but she has far fewer bud sites, which surprises me. One of the things I liked most about WW was how thick the main cola produced. This one isn't doing that :scratchinghead: ???
DSCN04739.JPG

Here's a couple shots of her buds and her main cola, they look healthy, just not very thick
DSCN04744.JPG

DSCN04764.JPG

DSCN04754.JPG

And this is Wonder Woman. She looks really healthy too, and she has many more bud sites
DSCN04773.JPG

And a bud shot
DSCN04782.JPG

Sorry I didn't realize this pic was so out of focus until I already posted it.

I have been gradually increasing their nutes...
todays feeding was 1260ppm, 5.9pH, and they still get about 16-18 oz daily.

I also have given them molasses and epsom salts, but not in the same feeding. And I'm still alternating a daily spray with either water or a diluted nute mix w/epsom.

@420fied,
I pulled the roots out of the 2ltr's that I killed and they were really packed in there. Much more so than what I've see in your journal. Will that adversely effect the plant? I expect them to take another 4-5 weeks.

As always all of your comments and feedback is much appreciated :thankyou:
