Sqwheels' Garden - Bonsai Style

re: Sqwheels' Garden - Bonsai Style

Hi Sqwheels :high-five:

Been so busy, I forgot you were fighting bugs on your mothers. Most look like they are recovering well, except the last one. Thanks for the complete post of them all. Hope you are well. OMM :peace:

re: Sqwheels' Garden - Bonsai Style

Hi Corey

Today's feed was 10M and 7.5G&B = 908 ppm @ 6.0 pH. They didn't get enough nutes when I was fighting those damn bugs.
All the bigger girls are showing clear signs of needing NPK, I hope they'll improve...now that the bugs are gone and I can go back to my previous feed schedule.

Hey bid

I really wanted to flower this week, but they obviously need a little more time to recuperate from the bugs. Thanks for the encouragement, I hope they recover soon...they are really gonna be out of control if I don't flip soon

Hey OMM

I think the bugs are finally gone,
been checking daily with a magnifying glass... It's been a week and a half since I saw anything in there, but the girls sure have suffered. A week ago I thought I'd be flipping this week, but it looks like that's gonna have to wait a while

Hi Folks :ciao:

Weekly Update - Good news...I haven't seen a bug in 20 days :yahoo: :yahoo:

Big room is now on 12/12 cycle...Wonder Woman, Blue Widow, Northern Lights x Big Bud and Aurora Indica

Wonder Woman solo...she's really gonna be a monster when she finishes
DSCN30832.JPG

Blue Widow has suffered most... but is showing signs of improvement. She's putting out 5 finger leaves again, although she's quite sparse, not sure how this will effect her in flower.

Northern Lights x Big Bud is also recovering...I'm sorry, this one is quite fuzzy

All these pictures look really yellow, but the plants are not...the new growth is a beautiful lush light green. I should learn how to use my camera better.
Aurora Indica is the smallest of the flowering girls, but she's covered with bud sites and will produce nicely I think

DSCN30844.JPG

The mistake I made was...while drenching for thrips I didn't give the big girls enough nutrients. These leaves are about the last of the bunch that will fall off as a result and now that they are back on a good feeding schedule I'm sure they will perk up and feel better. Sunday they got their first flowering feed...BPN 3 part Elite @ 10m Micro, 10m Grow, 15m Bloom, 4m Liquid Blue

I know it's early...I only flipped this weekend, but I swear I can see a couple of pre-flower hairs. I use GLR for vegging and this time when I switched I did it a little differently ... It went like this...Friday, Lights out 8:30pm, Lights on 2am, Lights out 3am ... Lights on 8:30am Sunday, so they got just about 30 hours of dark

Small veg room is full now and all is looking healthy...these girls did not get drenched as much as the others and
are happy little campers, with the exception of a couple of the clones I'm still waiting to see roots.

Last week I planted 3 new babies I cloned from the girls in the flower room, Aurora Indica, NLxBB and BW

This little bonsai is loaded...wow, I can't believe how well the Wonder Woman responds to this style of growing

Thank you Corey. Yes me too. Now I can concentrate on flowering :yahoo:

re: Sqwheels' Garden - Bonsai Style

Those plants all look fine, shouldn't have any problems once the nutes hit em. Looks like a great batch to flower and all the clones are looking great as well.

Hi Sqwheels!!

:yahoo: Great news on the eradication!! :thumb:

They are looking really good Sqwheels, and yes I think they'll all perk up now that things are back on track with the ugsbay (I don't like to say their name out loud for fear of invitation...) ;)

That Wonder Woman is especially beautiful! :yummy:

Hey Sqwheels,

I haven't been around for a while, been a bit under the weather...I'm slowly making my way around to all the journals. I'm glad to see things look awesome in the garden. I get the feeling I missed something while I was gone...looks like you've got a new or redesigned space maybe, along with some bigger pots...and what looks like some monsters! :thumb:

:Namaste:

Thanks bro! I'm still not that great, but it will get better...it always does. :)

Hi OG,
Nice to see you. Yes, they are improving every day. Good job BPN. I'm only really concerned about the BW...because I pulled soo many of her bigger leaves the little secondary nodes are under developed, and I think they won't recover well. But she's got some good looking tops so I know I'll get some nice nugs off her.

Thanks for looking in...Hope you are well.

Hi X,
I am so thrilled they are gone...thank goodness and good riddance.

That WW got waayyy bigger than I intended. but I had planned to flower 2 weeks ago. I quit clipping her a month ago. Wow what a difference. I can't lift her now...even dry she weighs just enough that I can't pick her up. I'm really excited tho, she'll produce a lot I think.

Thanks for all you help and encouragement...the info and calm blue oceans ... priceless :Namaste:

Hi Vape,

I knew you'd been scarce lately, So glad you're back...hope this means you're feeling a little better.
You only missed a bout with thrips...and some neglect on my part, but things are looking better and back on track now. They all got a little bigger than planned, but then again I didn't plan on bugs. Another lesson learned...keep that magnifying glass close. I had to repot the big WW, she was so root bound I didn't think she'd flower well. I was gonna just chop her root ball down some and plant her right back in the same pot, but I was afraid
 I thought I might kill her...but I'm gonna do that to a plant one of these days, just to see how it recovers. I can't remember who's journal I was reading the other day...maybe Mr White...did a serious root chop, wow. I was shocked.

oh, ya...I flipped to MH instead of the clf's, and T cut me a bigger floor board for the flower room...maybe that's different too, was much smaller before. Put the little one in the veg room, I like to keep the plants off the floor...I have no balance and it's better for me that way. And cleaner too, I think.
Thanks for checkin' in on me...glad you're back. Good vibes my friend, feel better.
:high-five:

Thanks, I'm getting there! Well, things look good! Thrips can do more damage than most people think...glad you got them taken care of. I'll go back to see how you dealt with them, I'm wondering if SNS made an appearance...

I've root pruned all my moms many times...no need to worry, in fact, I just did them all again a few weeks ago, but I usually cut them back at the same time. I would think at some point the plant could get large enough and so badly root bound that you could get some dieback if you didn't cut it back when you root pruned...but that's just a guess.
I'll try to not be a stranger...and :thanks: for the good vibes! :high-five:

:Namaste:
