Also I added three more air stones, 4 total in the cloner. Can you have too much bubbles? I have no idea, but I’ve been sicker than a dog.
The journal should pick up soon. Promix girls are looking decent, clones are looking decent still no roots but it has only been 4 days. Happy new year everyone

So we are at about 7 days in the cloner and have zero roots... do I need a dome on top? The ph of my water is 6.0, water temp 65
Tent temp is 72 and tent humidity is low at 20%...

About to fall back on plan b and take my cuttings and pop them in rockwool, dome, heat pad. Never seems to fail. I’ve had success with the rockwool and dome before but I thought I could beat my 7 day roots that I’ve had before. Hmmm I’m sure I did something wrong. Do you all think I could just take the cuttings from the cloner and toss them in the cubes? Or let them remain as is, an experiment if you will. Happy New Years everybody hopefully 2018 will be a great year.

My promix girls (hopefully soon to be mothers) are finally looking up, I’ve been dechloronating my water and switched from the flora nova which I just couldn’t seem to get a hang of, to the full line of emerald harvest nutrients. A couple days after their first feeding of the EH line up, they are all perky as can be.

Note: on my last water only watering, I added some beneficial bacteria powders that are most kelp derived, and a healthy shot of my local shops compost tea

I'd get that humidity up most likely the reason is my number one guess

Here is a chart green zone is highly recommended .

I couldn’t find z7 at my local shop but I haven’t added anything other than a drop of rapidstart by gh.. but the setup is just four 2” cylinder air stones bubbles water DWC style onto the cuttings... any recommendations on a humidifier? Thanks for the chart.

Just installed a reverse osmosis filter and put a little cool mist humidifier in the veg tent.. the r.o. Filter is sanitizing and running for 24 hrs before it will be ready for use. It will be ready just in time for the promix girls next feeding. Needless to say I’m very excited to finally make the jump to R.O. And it was surprisingly easy to install

Plan on picking up hydroguard in the upcoming weeks.. if roots don't show up this week in the cloner bucket I'm going to ditch it and take new cuttings in rockwool.. probably redesign the bucket with a submersible pump and pvc sprayer tree to hopefully be a aerocloner as long as the pump doesn't heat the water too much

Some updated pictures of the soon to be flower tent. Cheese in the back and pineapple chunk in the front.. they are responding well to 6.0 RO water with emerald harvests full line of nutrients. I must just understand this line more.. for some reason I couldn’t get a handle on floranova.. I will flip these girls in about two weeks

Hi SB! Nice looking setup. If I can offer some advice for your clones, I would suggest trimming the major fan leaves back just a bit. I just cut them in half basically. Especially any of the big ones that are turning yellow. Trimming them will help the cutting put more energy into rooting instead of trying to grow the leaf or repair. Make sense? Also, the splashing/bubbling should be good on the cutting as long as they stay moistened. 7 days is not bad. Ive seen root nodules at day 3 when conditions were perfect, but I've also waited 21 days before, so just keep at it. Like Joe said, RH really makes a huge difference with clones (during the whole process really). I use Clonex rooting solution. Just keep at it bud.

thanks for the advise and for stopping by!! I feel like Elvis just walked in! Haha, I’ll keep trying, all of those clones didn’t root after about three weeks I yanked them.. now that everything in the 5x5 is healthy I’ll try again in the next couple days and give the big girls a week after taking cuttings to recover and I’ll flip into flower. HOPEFULLY hahaha

Uh, thank you...thank you very much. *said in my best Elvis impersonation. LOL!

...Ladies and gentlemen...Elvis has left the building...

Haha nice! Thanks for the humor, keeps the load feelin light on a Monday. Hope you have a good one sir!

Update: took pineapple chunk clones and they are in their rockwool and dome in the veg tent. The promix girls in the 5x5 will be flipped into flower in about 6 days.. wheels are turning I just gotta steer this bus to the finish line. I think I can chalk all of my earlier problems up to lack of research, over watering, and not properly measuring my feeds, and not keeping a hard copy of notes on hand to keep me on track. Making those small changes and taking from all of your great advice has turned this grow in the right direction. Thank you all here at 420

If these clones will root for me, they will be nestled into their new homes of DWC, thinking about only running one bucket at first to get the hang of it, the other three might go into promix now that I have somewhat of a understanding on how to run promix
