Had some company last night and we had a serious bong session :rofl: Felt like I was a teenager again. :)
You guys think a 150HPS fixture t 16,000 lumens is better than 312w cfls? I actually do. I found the setup for like 60 bucks. Thats $100 less than a 400w. :hmmmm:
 
I think that would be a "toss up" good bench mark of .5g pw off hps leaves u 75g but .5g pw is in all seriousness not easy! That or I'm really rubbish as I rarely hit .5g pw

But I reacon 75g off 312watt of cfl is very achievable. Probs easier than with 150 watt hps

Obviously the hps would be more efficient than the cfl as in electricity used/grams yielded but I think ud yield more off the CFls in this case than the hps.....

But u could pop the hps in and a load of your already owned CFls and that could produce well :)
 
I'd personally go with the hps plus as many of your CFls u already have :)
Go total Scrog spimp and then the penatration isn't much of an issue but ur 150 hps would be penatrative enough
You could do good things with that kinda grow
 
Ok. Well the deed is done and heres where we came out.
Gave him 4g's and he seemed fine with it. I also explained the next was gonna be less and he was cool. I also told him I may be making another purchase soon, and he agreed. SO Spimp is happy!

Also my 'hash' dried to a good consistancy yesterday and I plan to toke some later this evening. So now, heres my course of action---
decide whether the 150hps is better purchase or more beans. Basically I can get by with spending around 50$ every two weeks, but saving up $160 for a 400w would take awhile. Plus then Id need a tent, so $160 is actually $260. :straightface: and thats not fans or exhaust or anything. But I found a $59 150w that I think would make a big difference in flower weight and density. I am going to do some measurments and see how it would fit in my current box. If its viable I think Ill pull the trigger on it and coninue in my currnt box. I think the cfl rig I have is more than adequate for vegging and does provide results in flower, but 16000 lumens should = more weight.
 
Gotta get it man. You can still use your cfl's as a turbo booster. And Congradulations in advance for winning the nug of the month contest, that grapefruit nug was sweet. Who wouldn't have voted for you.

Its a program that track your plants. In its basic use it keeps track of dates, like how long they are vegging, flowering etc.But you can track everything from nute amounts to harvest weights etc etc. Its pretty damn simple and I like it so far. :) I got the link from KingJohnC thread but Im sure you could just yoggle it up. Ive been messing with it for a week and I recomend it sir. :)

It was a pain in the ass to setup but I'm finally through and with good feedback. I very much well like the interface, very detailed and thorough. It made me ask questions about my grow space I hadn't even thought of my self yet ;)

I had a note app on my phone and had 4 plants worth of notes on it... Then my phone crashed 3 weeks ago. :straightface: Lost all of that info so I decided to use a computer and back it up occasionaly :rofl:
 
ill use the computer but still use my notepad for backup:thumb:
cant fail unless it burns or someone throws it away lol
