So my beans popped!! :party: So they have the same birthday so that should make things a lot easier! 3 sprouts and a girl in flower in my grow box makes Spimp very happy! :):)

thanks for the pic showing which branches was what, its some nice looking bud though so well done.

do you plan on growing more autos, ive been collecting pollen from a huge male kc45 auto for a couple of weeks now, so this pollen will be used on a female kc45 auto, a female auto bubble which is suppose to be a bubble gum strain but auto version, ive also planted the northern lights auto fem in the 2ltr dwc so all been well all 3 will get pollenated and ill turn all 3 totally to seed if i can, that should produce 500 to 1000 seeds in total,

then i can run tests with different light schedules and see what works best, so far im finding 12-12 works best with the kc45 auto, it seems to get really big under 12-12, 3ft on average where as under 24-0 and 20-4 it never reached 1ft, so once i got these seeds i can run tests and see which works best, it might be something like 16-8 or 15-9 or even 18-6, but wont know till i tested many plants, i juts wanst happy with the very poor results under 24-0 and 20-4 so i tried 12-12 and was blown away with the results, i know ive only run it with 1 auto strain so far but the difference was shocking,
 
Yes, I do plan on more autos. My two newest beans are another Bluw Mammoth auto, and a Trans Siberian auto. I think Im gnnarun the m arund 17-7 until the first set of true leaves, then I may taper it back to 15-9. Im wondering if a combination of more light early, less light less would be optimal?
The main cola of my flowering Bluw Mammoth is very thick already. If I can get a nice swell, she may yield more than I expect.

p.s. Im messing around with Herb IQ so im kinda distracted at th moment. As apposed to usual when Im completly focused and elequent. :rofl:

Oh no, she wont be harvested for several weeks. I know you are somewhat dissapoitned in my harvesting of NLxBB auto later today. You are more than welcome to get it ou of your system and give me a verbal lashing ver her if you like. :) Blue is only like 44 days old, she will see 65 at minimum unless a nute issue makes me do something different.
I ike to include a lighter pic so there is a size reference. I dont know how many old journals I looked through thinking the guy would harvest a pound and then found out his buds were 1g each :rofl:
 
i think you will hit the oz,

i just wish i knew which schedule was best for autos, i will know a lot more once i got all these auto seeds,
 
I wish I had the space, a decent tent and HPS, cause id love to help gather information with ya donpaul.p. It would be nice to have a decent sample size to base judgments on regarding these guys. I have this gut feeling there is something 'missing' regarding information available on autos. I feel like, and you have suggested, that all the info we have is based on sog style grows in a hurry up method to get the 'harvest date' marketable...

50-60 days is shite.... Ur at 74 now that's half more than the lower guide

I just have a issue with Seed bank guides sir I think they tell us what we want to here.
I am very looking forward to you piks of chop :) are u make in some gumby gravity hash? I did a walk through on my last journal and boooom it ends up potent

Im 100% with you that the marketing of 50-60 days is just that, marketing. But Ive been second guessing harvesting tonight as well. She was just starting to have small foxtails, and this is the one day of the week that makes it very convienient to harvest. But I know that Im sacrificing a touch. Not much weight, but maybe effect. Plus I read 15 mins ago that she usually gets some purple to her. Actually it said 'buds turn purple' which I didnt even relize. :straightface:
 
its going to be an interesting test, ive only got poor results using 24-0 and 20-4 and under 12-12 ive got amazing results every time, plants have been 3 times as big under 12-12, so their is some room for improvement but breeders produce autos for a very quick harvest and a sog grow, so 10g per 100 plants every 60 days is a huge harvet and a very fast turn around, but that means high plant numbers and bigger risk, id be more than happy with 10g dry if i was growing 100plants every 60days, but most growers dont grow sog with autos so their needs to be autos that yield well and if changing the lighting schedule increases yield and grow time then i think its something we do need to mess around with.

hopefully with the 3 auto strains ill have enough results and enough test plants to come up with a schedule that works well every time, at least thats what im hoping, its a slow process and will take time but im well on my way to getting the seeds
