being that i was busy all day yesterday, i just read all the gossip within the last hour. You know i had to put a little do-do in the game.

Ok, heres my activities since 7-18 regarding NLxBB auto.

7-18 Flush
7-20 water+molasses 1t/gal (notice droop)
7-22 water 1/2 normal size ; slight yellowwing
7-24 droop 80% better
7-26 water + 1t/gal FFTB+molasess 1t/ gal yellowing worsening
7-29 water +2t/gal FFTB ; leaves worsening and spots worsening

There you have it. Now my idea. If you disagree PLEASE resond in kind.

I think its a phosphous/nitrogen defiency. It is very reandom both at which leaves are afffected, and where the spots are located. From what I can find mag defiency is usually lots of tiny spots until crispy. These are more like blotches. :hmmmm: My proposed course of action is to water today with 2t/gal FFGB + 1/2-1/t / gal FFGB.
Considering ihave basically 10% browning pistols i think its too soon for her to be draining all the N from the leaves. Maybe she just needs some more fuel?
Damn, Im starting to understand why guys pick a strain and work it til they got it down. All these ladies have there own quirks I guess...

Good morning spimp, Wish I could chime in with some advice for you. It sounds like you have good handle on the situation though and a good thorough list of symptoms and possible causes. If that was my plant I wouldn't have a clue how to go about getting her better.

Hope she makes a full recovery soon!

Hey spimp, I just noticed you said your ph was 5.5-6. I believe thats the root of your problems. Acceptable PH ranges for Soil is 6.5-7 for Hydro its 5.5-6
I could be wrong but this is the conclusion I'm drawing up with the info provided. do you know the PH of your water after the FF nutes is introduced?

Certain Macro and Micro nutes get locked out at certain PH ranges, 6.5-7 will ensure that no specific nutrient is being locked out

i always PH after I mix the nutes in and shoot for 6.5. Its always between 6-7 when it goes in though sir. Sometimes when I add molasess i hafta PH before molasess becasue of the orange tint it causes.

Apon further review, Phosphorus locks out at 6 and below. Nice find sir. +reps. I think Im gonna give a slighter higher PH feed today and check my runoff again. Im thinking we may be on the right track.
:thanks:

Do you think its possible the plant is having problems due to PH spimp? or do you think its something else? The runoff you stated earlier sounds low, was the runoff in all your previous grows around 5.5-6 or is this low ph a new development?

ill go ahead and paste the rest i wasnt gonna share

It seems like something in your soil is dropping your PH, this is the same soil as previous grows I imagine? I was trying to find info on molasses it sounds like it drops PH as well.

I may not know much about cannabis yet but I have a really deep understanding for PH with 13 years of aquatic experience. The PH may be going in at 6-7 but theres an element in there dragging it down, maybe consider buffering the soil to raise ph, if ph is in fact the problem.

A test to see what kind of impact molasses and FF nutes have on PH you could leave it standing in water for a couple days and retake the PH levels to see if its changed at all. If its lower thats what causing the drop in PH

:thanks:

Everytime my PH test orange (5.0 - 5.9 range) by my liquid tester is when I start having problems.

Nice catch :bravo:

I am rather hard to offend sir. Dont ever hold back in this journal any and all feedback is crucial for us as acommunity becoming better at this. :)

Ya. Im 95% sure its a phos lockout. This is a new soil for this grow. There very well could be an issue with it, but Im gonna go ahead and take the blame for this one. Im gonna go feed with a higher PH water and see what my runoff is at. Ill report back on my findings guys. :)

A brief aside-- Unrelized by me is the second massive root spurt after the stretch phase of flower. I didnt relize this. This explains the P deficency along with the incredible amount of N being used up. The roots are trying to grow and store sugars and I havnt been givingthem the goods due to the Ph issue apparently. I just read this info this morning and its seems to all be coming together.

Update.
Just fed with very high PH water. 7.5-8ish. It took alot of PH uP after the nutes to get it there. I Runoff came back at 6.0ish. Tells me what was left in the soil was below 6. I guess. Hopefully this mega dose will allow some P to get in there. Them roots need some food. Guess only time will tell now.
Thanks everyone for all the input and advice. Im never claimed to be an expert and I want ALL info and suggestions to continue.
Im a brainstormer. Ideas spark other ideas. Keep fireing them at me and we will get this ladie home!

Man did I get behind and I am sorry about that Spimp:(
Glad to see you got the Ph gig fingered out:)
Oh and Good Weed Buddy:)
