Spimps NLxBB Auto Micro CFL's 2013

Oh, btw, I upped my lights to "max capacity" this morning. Running 12- 26w CFL's for total of for 312 actual watts. Technically i could probably run 4 more off the lighting strips, but this is as much as Im comfrtable with currently do to exhaust and box space.
I will check temps this afternoon sometime. This setup is gonna be a determining factor for my future grows. Im not looking to be a 'cultivator' but if my yields are still way low, then it may be time to start consdering some form of HID...

Ive also considered that as well. If I keep using ghetto box 2.0 it may be an issue. Very limited in hieght. But after what Ive seen with this grow, I could maybe scrog one plant to fill up the box. That would help. Also if I could find decent 9" square pots that arent a foot tall that woul help as well. :)
Oh, ya, and find the money to buy this stuff. :rofl:

Gonna hafta do some fishing later. Highway blocked off due to overturned fuel tanker leaking everywhere. I just had to talk to 4 Highway patrol. While having a fatty in my pocket no less. :rofl: But Im gonna hit the water in another direction after a bit. :)
I am really really considering a tent. Problem is the nicer setups are $700 or more. :straightface: Cause if i get one, im gonna want a HPS, cooled hood, carbon scrubber, etc. :hmmmm: Guess I better be a good boy and see if santa has something in the cards for me...

Can you please link me to something decent with the "attachments" more budget friendly? I know Dharma got his for like $80, but thats no bulb, no exhaust, no hood, etc.

Also, y so serious?? ;) Got your undies in a SCRoG today?? :)

What do you think the outlay on a 3x3 or 4x4 complete setup would cost me? Ive only browsed sponsors and a few other sites as the money is not available I didnt look too hard.

BTW, thanks for making me think about you sitin around in no undies... hope theres no cheetos around. :rofl:
 
Hey Spimp- depending on the size tent-budget for a bit more. I tried to keep costs down but fought a losing battle when setting up my tent. A good 4x4 tent, HPS-MH lites, hood, meters,controllers, fans, filters, and all the other needed things came to just under $1600 for me.:whoa: However, I figure it should supply the 3 of us with enough weed, so that it pays for itself within the 2 first grows.:rollit: :cheesygrinsmiley:

I had not seen those. $360ish for all that is the best Ive seen. Ill have to research the filter $,ducting,etc but you have given me new hope. :) Not that I have $360, but that is more realistic for me for sure.
As for size, Im just using the 3x3 thing as generic. Until the last 2 weeks or so, I hadnt seriously considered a tent so my knowledge is less than admirable. I am open to any size that can more easily support an HID bulb. . It would be nice to grow enough in one grow that I didnt have to be running perpetual grow. Leads to more paranoidya than I like. :straightface:

i got my hps from fleabay,

it was from a shop on their, i got a 400watt dual spectrum bulb, hood (not cool tube type or sealed type, its the open batwing type) digital ballast and delivery for £65, not had any issues with it, works perfect, plus the bulb is perfect for both veg and flower,

regular hps is red light for flower
mh is blue light for veg,
dual spectrum is a mixture of the 2, im pretty sure the dual spec bulb is better for veg and better for flower than either the hps or the mh on their own, i know using cfls you mix the spectrum up so im doing the same but with 400 watt hps,

ive seen tents for as little as £80, i dont use filter and not had any real issues, i live in an apartment block or flats as we call them in the UK, i got someone living above,below and either side of me and opposite me, the only time i get a bit concerned is late in flower but then i just buy some of that ona gel and put it in a bucket and have small fan blowing the air in grow room into the bucket and out small holes drilled in side of the bucket, that keeps the smell under control.
 
I didn't use a filter this grow either... I live in a semi on a council estate. And a few days before harvest I arrived at my door and the smell hit me bang in the face. Never realised how strong it got on hot days. Never again will I play such a risky game. Smell I all but gone now as we're jarred up. Carbon filter and inline fan ordered :) in time for when I need it again.
U got it lucky being high up mate with only a window or two
