Sphnx's Norcal Outdoor Season

It was intense. It got up to 115 one day. My back is 10 shades darker than my chest lol but yeah, they all got watered daily.. went through a few thousand gallons in a week. I'm excited for this 90 degree weather coming up.. it'll be pleasant to work in lol

I wanted to see if I could get the biggest Jedi Northern Lights to droop from too much water so I flooded all 155 cubic with 200+ gallons. She started stretching more.....

I love to smoke by my ladies and give them hugs.. anyone else hug their plants? Lol

Your bushes are turning into trees my friend. Lookin mighty fine. Sorry about all the heat but I'm sure the ladies don't mind with all that soil to keep their roots cool they will just keep getting bigger and bigger.

I've been reading about growing outdoors up your way. 15# plants dried is not out of the realm bro.... you have a pretty tall challenge..and I bet your neighbors are watching! Make us proud! :thumb:

Thank you! The heat will be the biggest challenge, not hitting the poundage mark ;) I've been having to water everything daily to keep the soil temp down, patiently waiting for them to bush out more to cover everything.

I'm really trying to keep my imagination conservative with the whole yield idea.. I know the numbers I got indoors per plant under artificial lighting, and those plants were tiny compared to these.. so fingers crossed we don't get a bunch of rain and I get to keep most of what I grow.

I'm trying my hardest to give these ladies what they need, when they need it. Hopefully it pans out nice.

Thanks brotha! I appreciate the faith :) there's way too much time left!! I'm overly anxious to see how big these get before the flip.

Update!

The plants seem to be fully established and really starting to take off. They're all getting a heavy watering in the morning with 3000ml of age old grow and 1500ml of liquid karma.. then they get watered again late afternoon with plain pH balanced water to cool the roots down. I wish I could afford to feed them like I want, but next year we'll be more prepared financially.

Here are the ladies ;)

Rock beds and trail- the deer decided to start eating the lowers nightly, so cages it is! Good luck fuckers. I picked up another roll of wire to make some more... no more eaten plants!

Area 3 the crystal trail- I didn't have my phone on me while I was down there today. Im planning on doing a small update tomorrow on those.

You got some monsters going there Dude.... Be prepared.. I see alot of work. Hey something to log for future usage... Old ladies Pantyhose. And her friends even. Thhey make great ties if you have a main stem split and in need on a good band aid. Alittle moisture and some wind will split the best plants. They just make a good thing to tie with in the middle of the night, during a rain. I keep acouple laying in the drawer.. Besides if it gets cold,, any old school biker will tell ya they keep ya warm too.. Plants are looking happy as hell... GL

Thanks for the tip! I'm planning on tying up a grid of stakes along the cages to keep them from bending too much. Cages will support the outward branches every 4 ft or so... cage after cage after cage. Hopefully that'll work pretty well. These have been getting hit with 50+ mph winds pretty consistently, I'm thinking that should be pretty good as far as micro stress fractures goes... make those branches as strong as possible.

Crystal trail update!

They're looking good, considering the lack of direct sunlight! Out on my walk around area numero dos, I noticed my little friend is still there. Been there for a few weeks actually, hasn't left his post. I named him Thor :)

Something that might help with the deer is human hair. You can get some at a local barber shop. Sprinkle it around the bottom of the plants... Or get some coyote urine. They use that for hunting, when applied to the soles of your shoes as a mask cent. We had to use fence also to get rid of them.. They do get a taste for marijuana plants.. GL and Keepem Green

Not trying to hijack your thread, I'm just new around this forum and looking for some fellow growers with some knowledge. I mix all my own outdoor soils with bonemeal lime blood meal garden tone etc... Seems to be working pretty well this year. Heavy rains seem to have slowed them down a little bit but for the start of July they are looking good. I have 150 total but these Are the ones sentimental to me lol

All I can think of while I'm checking out those pictures and all the hard work u r doing is that Beach Boys song... " I wish they all could be California Girls..." love it and can't wait to see how this ends!

No worries man, welcome to 420! Those ladies are looking great, super healthy. I'll get around to checking out your log when I have a few minutes to sit down and actually read something :)

Hair and predator piss. I think I can get a hold of all of that. Thanks brotha, greatly appreciated :)
