I didn't get any good macro shots of the buds today, and I may not be able to get many going forward given this is an outdoor grow and wind exists, lol.
Other than that things are moving forward well. Girls are now getting up to 1.5g/L of MC, and are at the max bloom strength of @Remo Nutrients so everything is at the max strength I'm going to give them.

Thanks man, I appreciate it!

Glad you're here, and I have to apologize for not checking out your journal!
I heard from a friend who has similar reactions to strains as I do that it would be a good one to grow, and @Herbies Seeds had it in stock, so I jumped on it.
I started looking for a lab that was willing to process samples from craft growers and individual growers a while back in an effort to dose my edibles more reliably. Turns out Health Canada has a list of authorized labs on their website!

Thanks Bill, and they really didn't need me for a couple of days!
I'm pretty much better now, just enough to let me know I shouldn't push it for a little while.
Glad to be able to get out there again, especially with those crisp mornings we've been having!

Thanks GDB!
I'm about to have a "preemptive measure" myself now!

Thanks Carmen! It's pretty much better now!

That moment you realize what you went to lift is a lot heavier than you expected always sucks!
Hope you're feeling better!

Like they didn't even notice I was gone!

Thanks SCD!
I'm just glad it's summer, and I can get away with going barefoot out there!

Thanks GG!
Happy to see you!
Girls are looking good Mel hope your doing well and I hope you enjoy the weekend!

Oh no worries! And I haven't kept my perpetual too much this summer. I'd say feel free to skip the first part. The romulan cross isn't journaled at all (too busy of a summer).

Hey everyone. Sorry for the absence for the last few days. Saturday I drove up to @Bill284's place for his birthday party, and Sunday I drove back, lol!
The plants are all moving into late flower, with Ebony and Jacinda's pistils changing. Jacinda's are looking kind of purplish, but nothing too exciting. They're all starting to get yellowing leaves, with Ebony's going fastest. I'm not too concerned about it though. The calyxes at the bottoms of her buds are swelling, so she shouldn't take too much longer, and she has a lot of leaves to pull from. I also find it interesting that Lucille is also showing some yellowing despite being in the ground. I don't usually see that happen to any leaves that aren't in the centre of the plant, in the shade.
I got distracted taking pics today, so there's no individual shot of Donatra. I'll definitely have one in the next update. I'm also not going to put up any shots of the unusual branch on Ebony today. There's just too much leaf up there to really tell what's going on.

How’s the back going Mel?

The gals are looking fantastic, they haven’t skipped a beat :surf: just cruising thru time making great flowers.

Ebony is killing it.
Thanks D!
My back is doing well, just making sure to take it easy for the next few days to prevent any setbacks.

Wow Mel, those buds are incredible. Really impressive.
Thanks Budman!
Terrific stacking on all of them! Are you going to strip the fans before harvest? That will really show off those spears. :)

Probably reliving the party from Saturday night.
Thanks Shed!
Yeah, I do that at harvest. Sometimes the day before, depending on how many plants are ready to harvest, and how long it takes. My bushiest plant, a Blueberry, took an entire day just to strip the fan leaves. Buds were worth it though:D

They were wilted by the time I got home, but they seem to have bounced back. Lost some leaves though.
Maybe he got tired of hiding from Howie, lol!
That’s some very nice distracted pictures Mel, they all look sooo good. Getting frosty already.
Ebony I love that long cola of the haze cultivar, reminds me of the brainstorm haze I once grew, Haze is one of the best sativas to smoke I really enjoy them.

Awesome
:high-five:
Thanks D!
Amnesia Haze is my second favourite sativa, so the anticipation is building every time I look at her! I'd really like to see what the Black Domina genes bring in!

Judging from what I'm seeing out there it'll be a race between Ebony and Jacinda. They both started to flower before the others, and their pistils are changing now. I am starting to see a few darkening pistils on Donatra though.
Ebony would be my bet. She's getting some swelling done on the lower portions of her buds, and is ditching her fan leaves fast. That could slow her down, so Jacinda could pull ahead.
Lol, I won't tackle him, but I will get him high!

We're starting to get some heavy weather here, it's clouded over and we could get some storms. I just found the first traces of budrot on Ebony, but the others seem to be clear so far.
Update coming later as soon as I get the pics onto my computer!

Just a couple of small buds. About average for the point she's at I'd say.
I usually lose a few smaller buds by harvest.

Okay. I'm officially worried about Ebony and Donatra.
Over the last few days Ebony stepped up the rate at which she was eating and dropping her fan leaves. I figured it was due to being late in flower, and that since she's showing signs of getting ready to finish in the next two or three weeks there wasn't any problem. Now her leaves are taking on a mottled appearance, and she isn't feeding/drinking well.
I think it looks like a root issue. I borrowed my neighbour's ph pen to check the medium and the feed she's been getting, and both are fine.
Donatra wasn't showing any signs of any problems until today. She dropped a whole lot of leaves today in the wind and rain. Some of them were perfectly green and didn't show any signs of deficiency or damage. Even the spot where they had attached to the stem looked like normal abcission. As if she decided she didn't need them and just dropped them.
Ph also normal, both medium and feed.
The real kicker? They're receiving different nutrients. One is MC the other is Remo.
I'm really not sure what's going on here, but I flushed both out (although the rain had already done that) and gave them both a full feed (the one I had checked the ph on, neither needed adjustment). Jacinda has more yellow than she did a few days ago, but not like the other two. She also still has a lot of green ones.
I really don't know what's going on here.
Just as a reminder, the 3 in pots are in 26 litres/7 gallons of Promix Organic Vegetable and Herb mix, with two being fed MC, and one being fed Remo.

Well, here's the usual update. Maybe you'll see something I missed.

I thought they were, but now I'm not so sure. I hope you got the SNS on them in time too.

Time for an edible, nothing I can do tonight.
Hope you all have a great evening.

Could be root bound. That would explain the yellowing as well as why the nute type isn't making a difference.

Also, seeing some PM so I'd hit them with the 1% citric acid if they were mine.
Have they had enough time to become rootbound? They're in fabric pots.
Last year I started them a month earlier and those girls didn't have any problems.
I did use the citric acid spray, and they are due for another treatment.
