Sorenna's - 2015 - THC Bomb Auto & Strawberry Blue - Soil - LED

re: Sorenna's - 2015 - THC Bomb (Auto) & Strawberry Blue - Soil - LED

Great to see louise back up and searching for that light again, they are looking great Sorenna :goodjob:
Got my light setup today, even though i went with their 100x3w base model, the quality is great and i can actually feel the difference from the light compared to the CFL's im currently running. My Cheese was started under CFL's but my THC Bomb will be only under LED so it will be a good test to see the difference in rate of growth between the lights, only time will tell :Namaste:

Wonderful that you got your new light all set up. Im curious to know the difference, too. Cant wait to find out. :)

re: Sorenna's - 2015 - THC Bomb (Auto) & Strawberry Blue - Soil - LED

so did i read right louise is back ??

Yep. So long as she survives this last round of stress, handling her to remove her support and burying her a little deeper, then I think she will be okay. I didnt think she was growing that much, but when I looked at her picture from 6 days ago and compared it to today, I can see that she has made quite a bit more progress than I thought. She may not, or I might find a new way to kill her, but she appears to be bouncing back to me.

*happy dances*

Good job on Louise :) I was curious about your setup too, do you have a fan blowing on the leaves for air movement etc? ;)

re: Sorenna's - 2015 - THC Bomb (Auto) & Strawberry Blue - Soil - LED

As requested, here is a picture of Louise today and a picture of my set up. I do have a fan set up in there. Its a window fan but of the 3 little fans there, only the top one works so thats the only one that actually throws out air. It doesnt really do much except to move the air around a little bit and if I watch long enough, sometimes the plants will wiggle a little bit as if it were a light breeze in nature.

Thelma and Louise - Day 20

Nothing really to report today. I peeked in on them and they are both just steadily doing what they do. No problems in the tent today.

Tomorrow is feeding day. When is best to feed them, just after the lights come on or just before they go out, or does it matter at all?

Ni night.

re: Sorenna's - 2015 - THC Bomb (Auto) & Strawberry Blue - Soil - LED

hello @Sorenna this is my personal experience I like to water my plants just after my lights come on that way if there is any left over run off water that I did not take out of the saucers it would evaporate and in turn raise the humidity in my tent which I need that's just one reason there are a few more but I will get to the point I like to water after lights on witch for me is in the morning I have my light set to go on at 6am and turn off at 12am I hope that helps any

Not a bottled nute user myself, but I do apply teas and drenches to build the biomass. That's always done first thing in the morning. It gives them all day to process it under the indoor sun. They need the light energy for that - or so I imagine. :laughtwo::green_heart:

Thelma and Louise - Day 21

Happy Tuesday! Today was feeding day, their very first feeding. I fed them (2 tsp of FoxFarm Big Bloom to a gallon of rainwater) 2 quarts each of the feeding water. Im excited on one hand and leery on the other. Im excited that they might have a burst of growth, but also leery that they might not like it. I guess time will tell. As of right now, Im planning to feed them again on day 27, if all goes well with this one.

Thelma is green and pretty, posing and preening in her pink spotlight. I think she really likes the attention. :) She is has 5 nodes in and is working on the 6th. She is exactly 4 inches tall.

Louise still seems to be well on her way to recovery. Her new growth is looking nice and green. She is almost 2 inches tall. She has 3 sets of leaves in and is working on the 4th set. Shes a very strong girl. I think her stem is even thickening a bit. Thats very good, I think.

Thats all for today. Keep your fingers crossed that they like the feed, please.

Thelma is just kicking butt, but don't count Louise out. Sometimes the runts surprise you. I enjoy watching you have fun with this.

Isnt Thelma just lovely? :) Im not at all proud of her or anything. hehe!

Im a cautiously optimistic where Louise is concerned. She is tiny, but she wont allow me to dismiss her. I believe that big things sometimes come in small packages. I am equally proud of her, even a little bit in awe of her.

Oddly enough, Ive always been the type to choose the runt of litter. I think they usually have the best personalities and turn out the be the best pets. I have a little chihuahua named Fancy, that was the runt of her litter. When I first got her I could hold her in just my cupped hands, now she just a bit over a year old and she not all that much bigger. Ive never seen a dog with such energy. Her feet are constantly moving, backwards, forwards, in circles, but once you pick her up, she as calm as a placid pond.

I think Thelma is a very pretty plant. She has a nice symmetry to her, nice color, smooth, though not shiny leaves. Louise is a bit scraggly but I firmly believe that once she gets going, she will just a beautiful as Thelma, but in her own unique way. Im good with that. :)

My Buddha Magnum was completely overshadowed by her grow companion, the THC Bomb. The Bomb was the star all the way. Then Buddha harvested earlier and turned out to be the larger yield and the highest potency. My little stealth baby.

Thelma and Louise - Day 22

Hello 420 peeps.

Thelma and Louise are doing just great. They did not wake up with yellow, gnarled leaves from the feeding. Yay! Not that I really thought that would happen, but Id have no luck at all if it werent for bad luck. Both girls got a 1/4 turn under their pretty, pink lights. I put both girls back on their SWICKS today, for the first time since I took them off of it more than a week ago. Ill monitor their moisture and remove them again if I find it necessary. Ill be watching much closer this time. I think Ill end up taking them off again in a day or so and leave them off until next feeding time. Well see how it works out. I think Im starting to get a feel for their wet and dry weights. Louise's pot is heavier. I dont know if thats because she has a little bit more dirt or if she is still not quite dried out yet. I certainly dont want to set her back anymore than I already have.

Thelma, unsurprisingly, has taken to the feeding the best. She grew a 1/2" since yesterday. Im liking what Im seeing. Louise hasn't gotten any taller, but she just has a healthier look to her. Hard to explain it. haha

I didnt take any pictures today as they look exactly the same as they did yesterday. I hope yall have a great day and Ill see yall again around this time tomorrow! Ni night!
