lol oh my God, I need to take a few minutes to respond to this. I’ll be back I promise.Omg I’m looking at those thinking so many thoughts!
Omg what weird flies!
And what sort of psychopath catches flies, kills them and lines them up for photos?!
And where are their wings?
And is that the mummy fly and daddy fly on the end and their 12 baby flies?
And is this considered fly genocide?
And omg is that 3 piles of fly legs?!
*zoom in*
Oh they are little hooks…
Thank you Jesus. They are fishing flies. No actual flies were harmed….
Lolling!
Hell yeah broDoctor Cannabis to the 3x3, I repeat, Dr Cannabis report immediately to the Vivosun 3x3. this is not a drill…….something not looking right. See how that one leaf is turned sideways? Both leaves on that node were completely sideways (meaning that the top of the leaf was facing the side of the tent) at lights on. I have done a few things differently, on accident, for example, I forgot to put worm castings into my 1 gallon soil mix, so I just topped dressed instead, and I normally use DI water in my humidifier, but I’ve just been using tapwater because, who wants to go lug 20 gallons of water from the truck down into the basement? Why would a leaf turn sideways at night but then straighten back out during the day? She’s only had one feed, I did give her a good dose of silica a couple of days ago, maybe it’s just post transplant recovery?

Good call out Mel, I did raise the light an inch or two when I saw that, but I didn’t really connect the dots. She just looks kind of funky so maybe that’s it.Lol, not the doctor, but...
I always thought that was light avoidance. I've seen it on a few plants, mostly outdoors.
Is it possible there's a hotspot there?
lol I've been cracking up all afternoon......it is a weird hobby but when combined with fishing, a hyper-compulsive personality and significant amounts of Mary Jane, it is incredibly addictive. Wings you ask? Great question! So these are nymphs that live on the bottom of the river and do not have wings (yet). In the spring they migrate to the shore at night. break out of there shuck, and transform into a beautiful adult stonefly. If you check out a river bank after a big migration, the shucks are everywhere, it’s cool and creepy at the same time. The adults have huge wings, I'll tie some this winter and show you.......3 piles of fly legs, lol, those are partially tied flies piled up (waiting for the rest of the materials i need to arrive in the mail). More than you ever wanted to know about the golden stoneflyOmg I’m looking at those thinking so many thoughts!

I'm with Carmen and Shed. The rest of the leaves are more important than those two, and at 400 ppfd I was probably wrong about it having anything to do with the light levels.Very weird I can’t get her to stop turning away from the light. It’s just that one node those two leaves, I’ve got the light on 50% at 26 inches above those leaves that’s less than 400 PPFD. The rest of the plant looks OK it’s just those two leaves. Keep raising it?
I think the specs on mine say 10-20º over ambient, and without a way to measure it (temp gun?) the roots may be getting pretty warm down there.Temperature, interesting, and shed mentioning the heating mat. Also makes me wonder. That heating mat is not on a thermostat. It’s just cranked up full bore. It says it’s supposed to raise the root temperature roughly 10°. The tent runs anywhere from 67° at night to maybe up to 80 during the day although it’s closer to 77 or 78°
I was planning to put a tray down tomorrow anyway so maybe that will help (you’re right mine says 10 to 20 also). Might be time to pull the heating pad.I think the specs on mine say 10-20º over ambient, and without a way to measure it (temp gun?) the roots may be getting pretty warm down there.
