Hey Folks.......I feel like I've rushed through the conception process w/o much explanation so wanted to take a moment and jot down what I did/am doing:
  1. I like to soak the bean in warm (75-80d) water for 18-24 hours before moving to a damp paper towel (I have her sitting on two tupperware lids that sit on a heating pad, brings the water to exactly 77.4d). I use DI or bottled water, never tap for me as its softened, PH'd to a neutral range (7.0). I don't use H2O2 (Hydrogen Peroxide) in the water like some do but make every effort to stay sterile, never touch the seeds with my fingers, and keep the glass and tweezers clean.
  2. Gasm spent 24 hours in the above before I moved her to dampened paper towels in a sealed tupperware container. She spent 2 days in paper towels and this morning she had sprouted with a gorgeous , creamy-white, ~3/4" root, perfect!
  3. This morning I moved the sprout to a solo cup (think 1980's kegger or everclear and punch cups :) ), pre-filled with a custom soil mix (Fox Farm Happy Frog, Jiffy Starter Mix, Perlite, Worm Casts, Great White Myco) instead of booze!
  4. I use an unsharpened pencil to create a hole in the soil, about an inch deep, to ensure lead is injected into the process :), then spritz the hole thing with the same water I mentioned before, followed by a little shake of Great White into the hole and on the fledging root. I drop the sprout in "seed pod up", backfill the hole firmly but not too tightly, and gently water in (I use a sprayer or little bottle cap).
  5. Once in the dirt, I put her in a warm, dark place (my grow tent) and check her every 8 hours or so to make sure she stays moist/damp (not soaked). If all goes well, she should pop above ground in a couple of days.
  6. I do not use a heating pad at this time. I've read that can make the sprout susceptible to "something", can't remember what now, maybe an infection(?), but I wait until she's above ground a day or 2 before I fire up the heating pad.
  7. I may skip the paper towel method next grow and go right to soil from the soak. I've been 100% with the above method (knock knock) so don't have a reason to change BUT have recently read about how sprouting seeds release hormones into the soil that are very beneficial to the seedling. If I let her sprout in a paper towel, I miss that hormone injection (I've got more reading to do on this)

Sorry brother I didn't catch this earlier! Dad passed away on the 26th of October.. been driving back and forth to Florida for the OG and it's been a lot going on personally!

I see Sheds one Pom Pom’s and I see your two Pom Pom’s and I was gonna raise it by creating true a birth shot by adding legs and some blood and gore above the seed and create a birth crown shot, but thought better of it.
