Soil - Hydro - 2400w Led - 2000w HPS - 8 Strains - 1 GPW+

Re: Blue Planet Nutrients-Soil-Hydro-2400w Led-2000w Hps-8 Strains-1 GPW+

jon

very nice plants and excellent photography.

Aren't you paranoid taking an indoor plant and putting it outside for a bit might bring in a bug or two that can infest-ate the rest of the grow?
Thanks HH, normally I wouldnt do that but its early spring here and still goes down to 5 degrees at night so not many bugs yet and this crop is getting harvested in 5 days:)

Re: Blue Planet Nutrients-Soil-Hydro-2400w Led-2000w Hps-8 Strains-1 GPW+

Thanks for the kind words Sling, it is happening bro, I dont think it matters what we do.The government plans on revoking all dg and personal cards and growing it themselves.I got approved to be a dg for 78 plant patient and I turned it down because of those laws, they will take affect March 2014. As much as I would love to be a dg and help somebody that really needs it im not willing to take the risk of getting shut down a year from now.Hopefully these new laws dont last long:)

I thought it was going to be voted on? If so I guess the govt. or haters won? Im sorry bro, I think one day we will all be legal and there will be less fear and risk but also less potential profit:(
I hope that it all works out for the best as it usually always does. I'm praying for ya my brother up north.

How hard would it be to become one of their growers? I know a guy who knows a guy who got hired from Rhode Island I think (sorry if I am wrong) who was hired by the state to be there head gardener. I think they said he's taking a huge pay cut by getting a six figure salary? Go figure.

I thought I would be able to help this one patient by becoming her caregiver and accepting tiny donations that would help the power bill but she went psycho on me and now I am worried about future repercussions? I hope everyone out there who wants to help gets a grower/patient agreement drawn up and sticks to it. Reduced power bills is nice but nothing is worth worrying about your family's safety, NOTHING.
Other than all that BS, gardens looking better every run jon, your getting some new custom built LED lights?

forgot to mention that becoming one of they're growers is pretty much impossible. Its so expensive to build the facillity required with like 4 different levels of security with a $100 000 safe that only large companies or rich mofos could afford to even start the process, ots rediculous bro..

Re: Blue Planet Nutrients-Soil-Hydro-2400w Led-2000w Hps-8 Strains-1 GPW+

idk if this makes any sense or not but it seems BPN is alot easier to flush than GH.Ive been flushing for what...3-4 days now, the ppm's out of my well has been exactly 210 for the last month or two and after 3-4 days of flushing the res water is sitting at 240 ppm's.All ive added to the flush water is Zone at 1 mil per gallon. Before I started using BPN I used GH 3 part flora for my base nutes with AN's bud candy, overdrive and Final Phase and I never got the ppm's this low with a full 14 day flush and I didnt use Final Phase this round either. Just one more thing I really like about BPN:)

I tell ya jon those lights look so sweet it makes me want one:) I do plan on getting a led grow light later this year or next and run it in my tent and see what it takes for me to dial it in. Once I can get my new house stuff done and have my two reg. flowering rooms humming along I really do want a smaller test room. Keep up the good work bro and thank you for helping us so much.

"Da Boys" always make it hard as possible for a normal guy who's name isn't Rockefeller or such to get a chance to get ahead. I always figured if there were no poor folks there would be no Rich ones. It's a damn shame we all cant just get along. Theres plenty of air, water and dirt for everyone imho.

Hey jon,
great journal btw. I just had a quick couple questions about your led's. Im about to switch up to 4 400w panel, each panel will be over a 2x4 tray. I wasnt sure If I should go the route of 4x400w panels or go to the af600's like you have. What kind of heat output for the 600w panels?

Re: Blue Planet Nutrients-Soil-Hydro-2400w Led-2000w Hps-8 Strains-1 GPW+

Hey Chllnvlln, welcome to :420:, love the name bro,I think these 600's would be overkill tbo, they have a core coverage of 52 x 52. I would need to have some more info on the lights your getting to answer your question, 2 x 4 is a tough shape to cover with 1 Light, The new lights I mentioned have a core coverage of 2 x 3. From all the reading ive been doing lately on led's I would say multipal smaller panels is better than a few big ones, you will get better coverage if you spread out twice as many smaller panels. I would say 2 of these lights would work better than 1 large panel. They have a core coverage of 2.5 x 2.5, so you would have a core footprint of 2.5 x 5, this is perfect for your set up, the plants will spread out past the sides of your trays once they put on some size.
120w LED Grow Light UFO Style - NEW
I just used those ones because they are a sponsor but you get the idea. Hope this helps and thanks for checking out my journal:)
