Thanks Ronnie im glad I can help bro, the problem with a mini-split here is the winter temps are average -25 - -45 so they are out of the question as far as I know. I ll probably end up with a large industrial dual or tri hose portable. Its the price I pay to live in snowmobile heaven:)

is that wind chill or actual ambient temps, there are several ways to operate a/c and refrigeration unit well below 0 , we use head pressure control valves and crankcase heaters. i know that mini split heat pumps cant perform heating well in well below zero because they actually pull heat from the outside air to inside and at those temps they cant pull it fast enough, they also sometimes come with electric emergency heat strips for that purpose. are you looking for straight a/c (no Heat):Namaste:

they have multistage units which means multiple indoor wall units connected to one outdoor condensing unit. tell me how many rooms , sq ft of each. your lowest and highest outdoor (actual temps not wind chill) and i'll do some research for you.

Jon you mention snowmobile heaven, I have gone out to the owls nest lodging near alban Ontario a few years ago planning on doing the trip again. Are you familiar with that area at all because my god was that snowmobile heaven for me!

Those temps are Celsius correct?? Just making sure Ronnie knows this as well because its quite different from f to c.

Man I'm jealous!! Those trails were absolutely amazing. One might we were there we got 2-3 foot of snow (a meter I think??) so of course we delayed our drive home to break trail on a couple hundred miles. Man what a trip that was! Too bad I'm about a 7 hour drive and I have to cross the border or I'd be out there every weekend! Ill message ya if I ever get back out there (next season probs) boy do I miss it there.

You know we never made a trip out there for summer that might be a good idea this summer hmmm got me thinking now. How are the 4 wheeler trails they can't use the same ones because there's a lot of lake riding right?

Im trying my hand at mainlining, the problem is I cant seem to find a good example of it done to a mature clone. Evey pic I can find it was done from seed and before the nodes start to alternate. Does anybody have any experience with this tecnique? will it still work like this?

Should I bend the top node from the main stalk to make them even? :peace:

Let it grow to 5-6" before ya bend it. I grow to 3-6 nodes then top the meristem above the last node I want. Give it a week to recover then I bend the meristem so all nodes are about level (this may take up to 3 sessions to avoid breaking. Allow the 3-6 (depend on strain) to grow to the edge of the pot. Top them. After you have two apparent growth tips per shoot strip everything behind it. From there veg to height defoliate the lower third veg another week then flip. One more defoliants on the lowers at day 21 and ur golden... donkey dicks

Some of my clones were taken from branches already doing this, but most have reverted back to a symmetrical growth pattern. Not all, but I think they might all go back eventually. I can see how Canna's topping technique could accelerate this process.
