SOGgy Daze Ahead For Mr. Krip!

new baby will be here in couple weeks. very hectic here. on top of that, no work, might lose our house if i dont find something soon.... i need a job. bad.
im headed to your journal now ole friend..

You're correct Mr. K. I have dual 600's and I can lower one to meet the new plants as they enter the flower room. Your plants look GREAT!

:high-five:

Thanks, 420fied! :thanks:

I really appreciate you sharing your journals and knowledge! It seems you've inspired a small "army" of SOG growers each with a small army of plants!

It's interesting to think how many more plants might be alive today than there were just a year ago simply because of your journals! :)
:welldone:

dude, im here finally. shows how busy ive been, didnt even know about this one...

No worries, GT! This journal wouldn't be "right" without you and I knew you'd get here so I had your seat reserved! :high-five:

Sorry to hear about the issues you're dealing with now, Bro. Hopefully, your luck changes quick and it leads to something great for you! :goodluck:

Ladies are coming along nice Krip loving the power skunk bro I'm looking into getting a cloner myself is it very hard?

GT where have you been buddy I started a new grow stop by sometime sorry krip lol haven't spoke with GT in awhile hope you dont mind

Thanks, Crower!

I don't mind at all! All "brotherly" chat is welcome in this journal! :high-five:

The cloner is about as easy as it gets. I don't even use any cloning gel or solution. I just take a clipping, scrape the stem, clip the leaves, and stick it in the cloner.

The rest happens automatically! :)

ANOTHER QUICK UPDATE

I don't know who that whacko was that called me a "schitzophrenic" this morning, but it really made me crazy! :)

So, I got out the clippers and totally dessimated my "backup" PE Bonsai that I've been planning on tossing since she was a fresh clone:

And, I nearly dessimated my current "main" PE Bonsai mom that I've been trying to grow out:

DSCN1085.JPG

And, as a result, have taken 17 clones from the two of them since last night!:

DSCN1087.JPG

So, I've got 7 plants currently in flower. I've got four clones pretty well rooted in hempys. I've got the Lucy top being cloned in rockwool, and I have the two PS's with fresh spikes in the TK, plus another 18 PE clones.

That's a total of 28 plants for a SOG that's planned for 24 plants. So, I need 14 of the 18 unrooted PE's in the cloner to root and we've got enough to "fill 'er up"! :yahoo:

The more I thought about the light & size difference situation combined with the fact that I really want to let my Bonsai mom's grow out a bit, the more it made sense to just take what I needed and spend the next 60 days, or so, flowering the clones I have and working on getting the PE, PS, and Lucy Bonsai mom's to a reasonable size before I start stripping more clones off of them.

I've also decided to move the Bonsai mom's to 2L hempys, too. They don't take up much more floor space than the 16 oz. cups I've been using, but give a lot more room for growth.

I'll post some more pics of the flower side tomorrow, but, the seven girls in there got their first dose of an SSU foliar this morning! :morenutes:

Happy Harvests!

K

 I miscounted...

There's a total of 32 plants! Five will go in next round and seven are already in and two will get tossed. So, I'll only need 12 of the remaining 18 unrooted PE clones to fill the 24-plant SOG.

Hey there Kripster!

First, I'm still pumped that you got the new toys. This is going to be a blast to watch you start getting your own SOG army going. I love those Bonsai moms. I like your idea with the UFO. Keep rocking it buddy! :high-five:

Looking great as usual Mr. K!

Wanted to give you a heads up that I am going to PM you for some help in trying to manipulate my BBK mother plant that is about to grow into the 125 watt CFL it has been under all this time. Not sure whether to just top it a few inches down from the tip, or tie it down instead.

Thanks, Bro! :high-five:

It's definately getting fun! :yahoo:

I'm actually pretty amazed I was able to take that many clones from those two small plants. Especially considering the number of clones I had taken from them over the last few weeks! :thumb:

Sure! Happy to help if I can! :Namaste:

QUICK PIC UPDATE!

Let's start today's update with Lucy....

Here's Lucy on 10/4 right after she got the UBT:

And, here she is two days later, on 10/6 and you can already see the four colas developing:

And, here she is today, one week after the last pic was taken, looking healthier than she's ever looked! :yahoo: :

The Power Skunk is also looking very cool. I'll have to get a side pic posted of her branch structure, but here's her 6-top canopy after I trimmed out the center to open up the middle to more light:

Once the clones in the TK start showing some roots, they really take off quick! Here's the Power Skunk that has the most roots of the two in the TK:

And, finally, here's the girls in flower after their first five days of 12/12. They got their first dose of an SSU foliar yesterday and I bumped their nutes a little at this morning's feeding, but I'm feeding them the same PPM's I was feeding to my "full-size" plants in their first week of 12/12 and they're handling it fine. Notice the huge leaves on the Power Skunk in the lower-left:

Happy Harvests!

Looking great Mr. Krip. I love that cloner. I wish I had more room to clone and keep mothers. That thing looks like it really rocks.

Whew! It seems like a lot going on in the Kripster garden -- your gals must keep you jumpin' more than a long tailed cat in a room full of rocking chairs. ;)

Thank you, Bro! :thanks:

It's definately keeping me busy and seems like there's always something to do between feeding the girls in flower, feeding the girls in veg, checking on the cloner, trimming Bonsais, etc.

I'm definately hooked on it, though!

I'm sorry to hear your healing has been going slow and best wishes for a quick recovery, my friend! :high-five:
