LUCY'S CURED BUDS & "LIVE ACTION" SMOKE REPORT
It's been about 4 weeks since I harvested my first Lucy and she's been curing for a little over three weeks, now, so I figured it would be a good time for a smoke report.
To change it up a bit, this is a "live action" smoke report in that I haven't smoked her yet. But, I'm about to pack a vape and will make my notes in "real time". I'll have to update with a follow-up post later, but let the fun begin!
First, let's take a look at a sample bud:
It's a little bigger than the ProtoPipe and a couple/few times taller, but the sample will be vaped and not smoked:
As I open the jar, it has a little bit of an earthy/spicy smell...
When it's ground up, it has a very sweet pine/lemon smell. Not overwhelmingly strong, but enough that my mouth is already watering in anticipation!
It's warming up in the vape now...one minute....
The vape we're using to conduct this test is the
Aritzer Extreme Q, which I've had for a couple of years, now, and I HIGHLY recommend!
OK...here we go....
Wow! What a smoothe smoke!
(1 minute later...)
It has a very mellow, pine taste and is definately going straight to my head! I'm letting it all sink in now and I can tell it's good cuz' I'm already having problems thinking of what to say to describe this...
(3 minutes later)
I took another hit off the vape. At first, it felt like this was gonna be some good "motivational" herb, but the couchlock is really starting to set in! Maybe I should finish this smoke report later?
(2 minutes and another vape hit later)
The breeder says that the strain got it's name from the "trippy" effects it had when smoked. There's no hallucinations, or anything like that, but I definately understand what they mean. It's kinda like I'm in my own little world while everything is happening in the background. Also, now that the initial head-numbness is over, I'm no longer at the total loss of words I was at a few minutes ago, and now I'm in a "zone" where my fingers are typing this almost faster than my mind can keep up with it....
I'm definately liking this strain a LOT!
I'll post again in a little while, or tomorrow, with the rest of the experience and a rating, but I don't think I'd have any problems saying this is definately some top-notch herb!
More to come later!
Happy Harvests!

EDIT: Quick update afterr 30 minutes....This is some AWESOME sh!t! I am seriously stoned...definately a happy high and I'm able to get up and do stuff, but again, I still seem to be in my own little happy world. Real focus is tough and if you're looking to induce memory loss or to drown out a nagging spouse, this is the stuff! Warning: Do not smoke Lucy if you'll be operating heavy machinery, and if you're driving somewhere in a car, don't be surprised if it suddenly occurs to you, after spacing out behind the wheel, that you know where you're going but have no idea where you are or how you got there - like the car was driving itself while you were in a "zone".
