Also if I do get the ring then there is a almost 85% chance Im not gonna be able to add more led into my garden which it really needs. If I dont get her a ring and get the led for sure then Im probably gonna feel guilty and selfish so I dont know what to do.

Thanks all. New pictures tomorrow(I think) I honestly dont even remember my life has been hectic the last week. Im contemplating getting my girlfriend a engagement ring and I want to surprise her but I dont know her ring size and I dont know how to go about it. I was thinking of getting one of her friends to bring up rings or something and ask her size to tell me. But I dont want that friend to ruin the surprise.

"honey can u help me? i want to compare the width of this plant stem to the width of your finger, oh by the way how wide is it? measuring tape? an inch?"

She's a woman, so she should have other rings around the house. I would start checking those. They make a ring gauge that you can print out and use to get size.

Or this... though i imagine if she has rings worn on the engagement ring finger he'd be pretty worried about her current commitments lol and if he used a guage she'd need to be asleep and might wake up, i think that would bork the surprise.

Don't worry about ring size unless shes bigger get size 7 that's pretty much the average womens ring size. After you present it to her, she will talk about getting it sized on her own. I've seen this 1 many times LOL.

Use the gauge to check her current rings, and it shouldn't be hard to figure the ring finger size. And I know a lot of women who wear rings on right hand ring finger. Especially if they don't have an engagement ring yet. But if not, get her while she sleeps

Hmm thanks for the suggestions. Im thinking of doing this in red lobster. Have the waitress bring it with the endless shrimp or idk I want it to be a surprise somehow even though she expects it I keep telling her we just cant afford it right now which is true but I want her to think it isnt gonna happen and then bam. Personally I think the whole diamond ring is a bunch of b.s since they are like rocks in africa. Very common but she said its the symbolism which it is. I told her im gonna shape a nice piece of glass and set it myself haha. Then I said well if you want a ring you better star watching he home shopping network.

hiding rings in food or wine glasses always seemed like an open invitation to a final destination style death. maybe just go old skool. down on one knee. simple but effective. maybe if you want it to be breathtaking, switch up the location; the top of a big wheel (ferris wheel) or somewhere with a really nice view.

Rule #1... Girlfriends tell each other everything and I mean EVERYTHING! Your best bet is to ask her mother. That's the one secret parents keep if they like you.

You can just guess the size, like play with her hand an look which finger is closer in size to any of yours. Or take her out on a walk or something and take her in a shop. The intention and gesture count the most in some cases not the literal surprise. Least what my girldar picked on about her she seems very realist. That's cool. I didn't know if your new light schedule would make the roots longer faster or if everything is the same as usual under the surface. Can't wait to see them in their own buckets

Id think it would have to be if the plant is growing faster because of it. It can only grow as much as the roots can support.If this statement wasnt true then plants would keep growing and not stunt then eventually die from being rootbound.

Thinking airpots in the future? Self pruning roots sounds good in dirt. I prefer Hydro just for the speed and pests but airpots sure do look interesting. Plants are looking sweet. I can't wait to see buds!
