Here are some pics of my Land-race Peruvian Sativa #1 and #2 (Rojo). The late warm season has allowed me to finish them outdoors. The BPN is kicking them into hyper-drive! "They've gone plaid... " I love Space Balls . Any whoooo
One #1 is later in flowering, that's because I pulled her inside for a month took some cuttings, then put her back out, then she got legs . Also you can see pot size influencing plant size.

Finishing up the trimming. Saved the Rojo for last . She smells the dankiest, Cat Piss/Skunk with a hint of Pine smell. The #1's smelled like Cat Piss /Pine with a hint of skunk. Hmm. The cure will tell. This is the 1st time I have grown land-race sativa (Nigerian and Peruvian) and land-race Indica (Kush and Hash Plant). The Indica(s) were hella short, produced dense, compact, nugs full of resin. So much so that smoking it will require Herculean lungs to tolerate. Its destined for the hash pile. The Nigerian (which finished pretty fast)was uplifting , social, allows free flowing thought to coalesce into words and music of awesome proportions. The many other strains are all winners. Thanks to Cory @ Blue Planet Nutrients for the awesome customer service and a fine product. My roomies are ecstatic about the results. BPN gets 11 starts out of 5. Pics of the drying/curing room to follow. After a bowl and a listen to the George Harrison concert for Bangladesh. While my bowl gently smokes.

that smell you describe reminds me of the old jack flash i used to smoke 10 years ago, i loved that strain, you could smell it a mile off, really dank amonia cat piss type smell but in a nice way, it was the type of bud you would travel to find, once you got it you had people asking what it was due to the smell been totally different to anything else people was smoking back then, im hoping to find some seeds of this strain, loved every bit of that bud

Hey Smoke2Js

Thanks for the reps and back at you for those beautiful girls! ... cat piss, YUCK! I just grew the worst nasty crap EVER, I am glad to have it out of my room!! :cheesygrinsmiley:

I think I havested a total of 13 so far. :O My back is sore.
When I close my eyes, all I see are buds being trimmed to perfection, being hung by the fan with care. Me nestled in bed, knowing St. Nug will soon be there. To bless the harvest and snip his fair share.

I have a 5 gallon bucket packed and almost full, of dried leaf and popcorn nugs. Hash time is coming. After the harvest, bomchacalota. Hash made from 13 different strains. I plan on using the dry ice method for initial extraction. I'll make 10 to 15 batches, as I find smaller runs produce better extract. Then tinker with a few recipes of refinement. 1st Hash refinement will be with high grade alcohol to make oil , I will use the air dry fan method . I have done it enough to know what to do and how to do it (I've been practicing on a small scale) It comes out red or amber depending on the strain. Another thing I want to do is to try different cooking recipes, so I'll just use the initial extract material for cooking unless the oil is superior(which i am sure it will be). :)

tucked up in bed waiting for st Nug! hahahaha :cheesygrinsmiley:
i'd be interested to see how your hash-oil turns out using alcohol Dude! do you have a link to the recipe/method?? ive experimented a bit with indica/sativa tinctures and the like years ago, using alcohol to extract from a tartar(calcium carbonate base) liquid and the results were quite fascinating.. random visions but very deep and detailed. have you ever tried warming your hash over mild heat for a prolonged period?? i did this by accident with my last bubble hash- i left it sitting on a fan heater-which was turned off.. unknown to me my 15mnth old daughter had flipped the switch at the wall and it turned on, luckily only on low. well, i came in about 6-8 hours later and it had slightly reduced and turned to a caramel like goo.. i stirred it up, tried to put it in the freezer to harden up a bit- it came out like a thick oil(oil=washed alcohol through green trim and reduced to an oil over a bain marie) but DAM! the hit was swEEEEEEt! 3 small dots on the ole knives were just beautiful :cheesygrinsmiley: im keen to learn about different methods of making hash, oil or tinctures, it takes MMJ to another level imho, so much like bach flower remedies and other herbal preparations and its such a great way to ingest MMJ for those that dont want to smoke or even eat it, even burning tinctures or oils in an oil burner as an incense etc.

I smoked a sample large joint, er yup a blizy to the hizzy of the Peruvian #1 4 hours ago. At first I was like meh, what did I expect, 4 weeks early? Then after 40 minutes she hit. I have munched thru a bag of kettle chips, some cookies, hella Chinese food, drank hella water ,managed to sit through 3 short movies, and check up on all the journals @ 420magazine.com that I have subd and subd some more. Holy shit balls I feel good. Next season I will grow more of this, the large pots will be the one for her. It allows me to move her as needed. I still have one outside and she is doing fine. The Blue Dream are looking ok i guess, the flowers I left on them smell fanfuckingtastic.

I have 8 more plants to harvest. The 3 Peruvian Sativas are loving this Indian Summer and BPN is getting the job done son!!.:peace::love:

just wonderful :cheesygrinsmiley: i love these times! - to really appreciate it with a taste, plenty of sniffs and gentle prodding- like caressing a newborn baby loL and a 20x(+) loupe to visually go to that other worldly cannabisplanet of trichs and oceans of resin! can hardly wait to see your peruvians on the table too :]]

keep it up brother :thumb: :peace: :Namaste:

Tears fill my eyes, a small lump forms in my throat. Beautiful, simply beautiful.

The Peruvian #1 and #2 (Rojo) perfectly are dry, buds cut from branches, break time before the weigh in.

I'm not even gonna ask about the five day break, but I'm definately looking forward to the weigh-in & smoke report!

Well, I had to finish the harvest on the blue dream plants. The cold and rain have not been what my ladies want. I left a little on enough for a joint or two when dry. I checked today and the harvested late BD is dry enough to smoke, damn 3 days of drying and its done, I did not use heat of any type. It is uncured but smooth to smoke, and the flavor is fantastic, plus I am getting high as I type, started typing right after my second draw from a pinner, A,pinner, not two fat gram and a half joints as usual. Hmmm, how is that possible? Well, as the flower matures it dries out, on the plant. Just like all the other flowers out there, don't know why I did not think of it before.. This is something new for me. Damn I am high, Also ALL the trics are amber.
