Small 1st Grow Already In Progress Using LEDs To Flower & T-5s For Veg

Today is day 24 in flower. Life started out dandy, sipping on my coffee, listening to some Bob James, while I waited to poke my head into the tents once the lights were all on. Big shout out to Llama for turning me on to Bob James.:thumb: Life is back to normal and the stress levels here are much better.
So the temps/RH% kind of threw me a little 1st thing this morning but since I did feed them yesterday the RH% was understandable though the temp was right at the max I prefer to see in the ole flower tent. May have to bump the temp on my exhaust fan down just a smidgen.
Went in with the micro-scope and search for any signs of the dreaded spider mite invasion, and found nothing yet. This is day 2 so the battle is still early. I will be giving the girls a nice rinse after day 5 to get any Neem off them that has not broken down naturally.
Put a bid in on a job last night on a job, unfortunately it is an outside job but if I get it, I may be seeing a new light under the ole christmas tree this year :thumb:
I decided to pay more attention this update to grow #2 and #3.
so with no further ado, onto the pictures!
Veg tents Temp/RH%this morning, happy as usual with it.

Grow #3 likes their new shoes, they say the fit is not near as tight.

As you can see the Temp/RH% are right on the boarder of getting to high, least for my comfort levels.

The flowering tent is doing fine as well and a few of the tops are really starting to stack the buds up nicely. Now if lonely miss Mango will just follow the lead and start stacking up. I am sure it is the old LED she is under so I do not hold her accountable.

In all I would have to say I am pleased with where I am at with this grow, though if it was 1/2 as nice I would still be pleased.
Thanks for stopping in, I know there are so many journals to see I really appreciate that you took time to stop in and take a look at mine.
Hope everyone has a great day, and lets not forget what day today is. Veterans day, so if you know a Vet. tell them thank you. My son reminded me last week, dad you have fathers day, mom has mothers day, but Veterans day is all mine.
To all the Vets on the board and parents/spouses of Veterans. Thank you for your service, GOD bless you all.

Thank you for the compliment Since we are practically neighbors I might have to hook you up with a sample baggy of this grow so I can get a good perspective of how it turned out.:thumb:
To me, these are just beautiful.....nice color, form and obvious care taken = :goodjob:

And thank you for your compliment. I really think grow #2 will be even better then the present one but only time will tell.

I am pondering the thought of getting ahold of another strain though for grow #3 just to mix it up a little. It may have to wait till grow #4. I am searching for a strain that has vibrant colors, like purple and red. Not really concerned about THC or CBD levels for it, just looking for that stunning color that will knock my socks off.
So if anyone has any ideas of a specific strain to try, throw me a bone.

I had typed a long message and then timed out and lost it but basically looking great! Try to keep the neem on the leaves only as much as possible not in the pistils. Kill those little bastards mites! And with spraying neem is recommend bud was at harvest which I think I may end up doing tomorrow and do pics n the whole shebang

PM me or hop on my journal :peacetwo:

I have heard good and bad things about Neem oil, though so far I can only say good things personally.
I can relate to loosing all that hard typed out thoughts, been there done that chances are I will do it again

Healthy tents there OG.
Coming from you sir, that is a dandy compliment indeed. Thank you :high-five:

Totally agree MJ.....

Dont know your exact age OG... But it proves that it aint just for " whippersnappers ", this growing lark...

Hope you get ya job ol chap

:goodjob:

Cool I will bounce over and take a peek, thanks for your input.

The Mango was a clone I picked up at a local medical dispensary. I have not grown from seed since the 80's.
That's crazy that you say that cause my old head when teaching me what he knew in the 90's told me never to grow the so called "mango". But that was him, I just remember him saying that naturally it lacked density, so what I'm saying is it just may naturally be a lil wispy. Also where I'm at the genetics were a lil behind, we still came up with crippy though... Sorry I'm rambling just a lil baked

Good morning OG :)

Cherry Bomb by Bomb Seeds takes on a nice almost maroon coloring to its sugar leaves under cooler nighttime temperatures.

True North Seed Bank is a sponsor on here who has a "search by color" feature on their web site that might interest you, I haven't ordered from them though so can't tell you what they are like to deal with.
