Small 1st Grow Already In Progress Using LEDs To Flower & T-5s For Veg

Obviously you can partake, which I can only say, "Lucky you":thumb: Unfortunately because of the field I work in I will not be allowed to partake until either the Union stops drug testing for it, I retire, or I am able to find work in a different field. At this juncture
in time it looks like retirement, so I have almost 7 years to stockpile bud for my retirement party. even if I get crappy yields I am thinking I will be smoking the biggest fatty you ever saw come retirement :cheertwo:

:lot-o-toke::lot-o-toke::rofl::rofl:......let the stock piling begin.....

Sorry for taking so long, Last day of family in town. That and a lot happened in the ole garden since last update which with family still here did not help matters any. That and forgetting to upload the pictures DOH
So what was it Major Pita spotted with those eagle eyes of his? What he spotted was about 1 1/2 feet over from pic #8 there was the beginning of a spider mite invasion. While I normally look the girls over every day, I blame complacency on my missing this. OFENSE I say.. be aggressive. I started by stripping every leaf that remotely looked like it had any damage at all. I may have gotten a smidgen carried away, but yield is no biggie at this stage who cares. I also have been busy with the girls from grow #3 and hopefully they will feel a little bit better about not being in the spot light.
Temps/RH% are within what I am looking for.
so enough about me panicking and lets see the porn!

The white one is in my Veg tent, the darker one is for my flower tent. The flash kind of makes it look like 92 but it is actually 82 degrees

I did a few before and after pictures, I am sure you will be able to tell the before and the after easily enough. But what does this have to do with anything?
IMG_075843.jpg

Yep your right, I finally got around to showing a little love to Grow #3 which they so rightfully deserve.

I keep telling people that weed is a tough plant and do not over water, so you might like a look at when I decided to water. I am sure this stresses the gals a bit, but at least I know I am never over watering them. The picture does not show it that well but she is drooping hard.

Now a picture or two of the before scrog got tossed in with the after photos but my old eyes could not make them out so they are going in with the 1 hour after feeding.

This is the area of the scrog that I found signs of my mite invasion. Ok so I may have freaked a smidgen but better safe then sorry.

So I turned the fan up a speed, and let loose the new recruits to patrol the area for any I missed. I did a complete soaking top and bottom of everything in the tent with neem oil yesterday after I took any and all leaves that may or may not have damage. I confess I was not about to take any chances.

I apologize for being so late with my update but my sister stopped by on her way out of town and it has been a busy morning for me.

Now that I am all caught up with mine I can go spend the rest of the day looking at yours :high-five:
Hope everyone has a great day.
OG

I have the iPad next to the bed, so I'm on site before I even roll out of bed, and then the tent is at the foot of my bed, so I'm lucky to make it out of the room for hours. :laughtwo:
Yeppp! This is me too. Its great waking up :)

Good mornin ol buddy! "Oh shit!" could be a good thing!
'Oh shit! Look how big her buds got!?!!'

I want to see what the neem does. Every time I use it, my girls take it on the chin. I hope yours take it in stride.

Perhaps I have just been lucky up to this point, but after all I am a lucky guy.
I was lucky my neighbor hooked me up with a grow tent, LED light, fan and a ton of other goodies, Lucky that "she who must be obeyed" was cool with letting me grow, Lucky that she also gave me a nice healthy budget to buy even more stuff. Lucky that I stumbled onto this site. Lucky to have met a whole bunch of great people. Lucky to have a huge source of information at the tips of my fingers.

Holy crap batman I really am "LUCKY"

Forgive the ignorance.

OG, you live in canada right? Id assume the temps there to be nice n chilly by now, so where did these lil pests come from? Hiding out in soil until now?
Oregon, actually. Up around the Portland area, which is just south of Washington state. I think they are hitching a ride in on me, I am more then likely guilty. Normally "she who must be obeyed" gathers the eggs from the chicken coop when she gets home but I have been do it for her when she has a rough day. While spider mites do love to eat canna-bus they also like chickens, but hey who doesn't :cheesygrinsmiley: I just do not want to be forced to choose 1 over the other, both growing weed and raising chickens is enjoyable for me.

Okay that makes sense. Sorry to confuse you with all the other canuks! Best of luck fighting the fight, im rooting for ya:Namaste:

It has been chilly in the mornings here lately. This morning it was 45 degrees in Portland but 35 degrees here at my house and I am only 16 miles away.I think with the cooler temperatures I need to be very careful coming and going outside since I am sure they would prefer to be inside where it is nice and toasty.
If the neem oil does not work I am going to get a sign made to hang by the door that says "Spider Mites are NOT welcome!" I am sure they will respect that and stay away:cheesygrinsmiley:

Portland is about one of my favorite cities. My son lived there for a year after he got out of the army. He was working in that Neurosurgery center with the tram. I think that is the coolest! Portland just seems to have the laid back class and style that is appealing to me. The Pacific Northwest is on my shortlist of retirement locations. Next time I'm over that way I'll let you know.

Do you also grow outdoors?

I did my 1st grow in 20+ years this year in the back yard. I had 2 plants and while they got a late start, Oregon it was not legal to grow till 7-1-2015 the grower in me, jumped the gun a little and got them in in June. Would have been better to get them in May but I took what I could get. I got some, 8 quart jars of bud and a big ole bag of sugar leaf. I will be growing again outside this next year but I only have a 6' fence so I will have to keep her nice and bushy as opposed to big tall and bushy..lol

:welcome: glad you have decided to join in on my journey. Questions and comments are always welcome.
