Small 1st Grow Already In Progress Using LEDs To Flower & T-5s For Veg

I think we each feel pretty much the same way about our journals and those of others. When you see your grow all the time, a journal update seems about a exciting as watching grass grow (and not the good kind). But when you see other setups, strains, ideas and parts of the grow cycle, it all feels new and exciting again. I greatly enjoy your updates. Not too little and not so much it is hard to wade through. You hit the Goldilocks of the curve.

I have to second that. I posted an update last night that I just didn't have the heart for. I know others enjoyed it, but it's mine and I see it everyday...and I'm tired of watching this grow, I want to smoke it ! LOL. Always enjoy and appreciate everyone else's efforts and photos especially. Thanks !

So today marks the beginning of week 4 of flower and things in the flowering tent could not make me any happier. Buds are starting to show more signs of developing frost and that indicates to me that the remaining which have not will not be far behind. The family visit will be over after today, thank goodness, which means I can get back to giving grows 2 and 3 the attention they deserve. They are starting to show me just exactly how pissed at me they are.
Temps/RH% are still a nonissue, no signs of any insects other then the ones I introduced.
Still wanting to get some companion plants in with the girls, but have not really pursued it as much as I should. I am a believer that a strong offense is better then a strong defense, but thats just my line of thinking.
so without any further ado onto the pictures.

Grow #3 may be disappointing other then one star candidate if I do not start showing the girls the respect they deserve and give them their share of quality time. On one positive note One of them appears to want desperately to be the star of that show.

Hard for me to believe I stripped this little girl down to a bare stem with only a tiny amount of new leaves showing on the top back when I had my spider mite issue not that long ago. Look at her bounce back.

Grow #2 while appears ok, they too are a bit pissed with me

Finally I am seeing more then just a couple of buds showing frost. Will not be long now and they all will be.

The scrog is coming along as well as I expected and even lonely miss Mango is doing well. Really looking forward to how they all fatten up. Will have to move the lights up just an inch or two on Mango, that or perhaps I will bow her tops down a little with some LST.

While talking with my son this morning I realized something and it put a big smile on my face. Had I not found this site I would still be right where I am now, though being here has done something for me that would not of happened had I not found this site. It has allowed me to grow. It has taught me to be a better human being, and for that I do want to give a big shout out to all the wonderful people here on the site as a whole. Not just the people that have been kind enough to stop by and share this with me, but everyone, from the most experienced of you all to the least. YOU GUYS ROCK.:tommy::theband:

Hope you all have a wonderful day

Hey OG-
Take a good look at your 8th picture. At about 12 o'clock, the upper third, am I seeing a little red-ish, winged invader? It probably isn't, but just in case...

Congrat's on the indoor snowstorm! More on the way. :cheesygrinsmiley:

Living 50 miles from town And being and old stoner can be a lonely existence. This site is one of the first places I go when I turn on the computer in the mornings.

Big shout out to (EagleEye) Major (Speedy Typer) Pita this morning,
While pic #8 turned out to be nothing, my OCD forced me to go through every freaking leaf looking for signs. And signs I did find. I am always saying I prefer a strong offense over a strong defense, so while it may appear that what I did was a defensive move, it really is an offensive move (In more ways then 1)
More to come about that in todays update, once the lights come on and I can see if I Totally screwed up or if I am on track to fixing the problem. Do not think I did anything that would kill the ole gal but I am pretty sure the yield will be effected. Good thing that part is not important :laughtwo:

Oh oh! What have I done? :cheesygrinsmiley:

Get busy for a couple days and I'm six freakin' pages back!!! Well done buckaroo. Nothing like a fun running journal, is there? There are just too many of you interesting men to follow, and the great delight is you're all on each other's journals, so we're running back and forth between them all. It was a delightful jaunt through those pages. Let me see if I can remember the points that came up.

Don't vacuum the ladybugs up unless you're dumping their little carcasses into your pots. Their exoskeletons are excellent soil food.

I have the iPad next to the bed, so I'm on site before I even roll out of bed, and then the tent is at the foot of my bed, so I'm lucky to make it out of the room for hours. :laughtwo: This is my favorite place to spend time and I make no apologies for it. You guys are as real as anyone who populates my physical world. We're just separated by geography.

I have to say guys, journaling is not for everyone. Me on the other hand? I'm as addicted to the posting as I am to the growing, and I find my own journals entertaining. I better, huh? I'm dangerously close to 30 posts a day and I do my grow updates daily. Seriously addicted.

That's enough from me. Good morning OG. :battingeyelashes: Waiting for pretty pictures now. There's no way any grow you journal could be disappointing. Just sayin'. :hugs:
