and for checking out my 1st grow in progress.Hey oldergrower,
kids look very nice
must be like 10 more posts and I can a private message... lol
Thanks Mate, but they still have a long way to go before I am totally pleased.
Those buds are realllly starting to fill out arent they!? Looks very good this morning!
I have to agree with you, it would. May have to switch mine out, though there was one picture of a bud with the LED on that I find incredibly striking. It will be a toss up but by the end of the day I will have one or the other.OG the trichs are coming along so nicely. I love this update, love when the sugar leaves start to look like swollen spearmint leaf candies, do you remember those? And if I can make a suggestion that lady bug in the center of that leaf would make a great avatar pic.
I believe I have mentioned before that I grew in the 70's and 80's but back in those days I was not concerned with much more then getting it to harvest without getting busted. And in all honesty it was crap Mexican rag week, had to smoke a lot to get baked. Now when I am smoking a partial bud the size of a kernel of corn will bake me for the whole day. This is your first grow right? You're not holding out on us and forgetting to mention, like Graytail once did, the years of growing in a barn somewhere? 'Cause damn! Looking good in there. I'm with ShiggityFlip, that pic would be a great avatar choice.
Thank you for that very nice compliment and welcome to my journal. Glad you found it.Love it, that scrog set up is exactly what I had pictures in my head, but you nailed it man, well done!
That was actually my sons idea, earlier this year we had some major issues with flies in the house, guess that is expected when you have a dozen chickens living right out your back door. Flies are all gone for the year but the plant reminds me of my boy every time I see them so they will be staying for the duration.Ha I'm digging the fly trap plant you have in the tent! I never thought of that. Great update OG
Some day maybe but right now I am getting my sea legs back under me sort of speak. But coming from someone of your caliber I am very flattered. While I do really appreciate the kind words from everyone, it is especially uplifting to get a compliment from growers who I have been following and respect their skills.OG you grow like a pro. Healthy plants in an epic looking Scrog.
I'm gonna finish these autos and pop a couple of photo strains to fill up a Scrog.
No problem being late SW once you get to know me more you will see I am more late then early. Welcome to my garden and feel free to offer suggestions or comments at anytimeI'm late but I'm in!
I can totally relate with this post Sue, I applied for another job today in fact and will know come Monday if I got it or not. I have realized that once I go back to work my ability to spend as much time here with you all as I would like will have to take a big hit. No more daily updates, no more competing with Rifleman and Major Pita to see who can be 1st to welcome our new members and let them know we are happy they decided to join in on the fun. The ability to make new friends and develop relationships with you all will take a hit, but I figure I can still do updates, just not every day. I know we have never met personally, in fact I have not met anyone from here personally. Though as friendships develop and time goes by, I do intend to meet personally as many of you as I can, when I get that opportunity. OK Sue I am babbling again lol... At this rate my update will never get done Wishing I could have one of those brownies of yours right now Now time to get off my coffee drinking butt and get todays update dons I can start hitting all the journals I can and have some fun while I still can.It is a challenge keeping up. I may catch up while on vacation, but I stopped even trying to count the number of grows I follow. The list of 75+ new notifications used to frustrate me in my inability to keep up. Then one day, as I was scrolling down that seemingly unending list, I realized that I identified each one as an individual I truly cared about.
Now, still unable to keep up with a list that continues to grow, apparently incapable of staying out of the conversations or putting in that encouraging word and also hesitant to "unsubscribe", I allow myself the pleasure of scrolling and smiling warmly, thankful to have made so many positive connections in my life. I allow whimsy to direct many stops, and that has begun to have interesting effects on timing that often surprise me.
I shared that with you because at some point you're going to have to sacrifice all this indulgent time spent loving and encouraging your digital neighbors for "real world" responsibilities, and it's going to bother you. Hopefully, this perspective will help you transition.
I'm disconcerted that we still think of what we do here as less important and designate it as "not real world". Not us, necessarily, but the general public. I think that's a misguided perspective, and we simply need to find the balance point. I've never physically met you. Does that make you less real? Less relevant to my life? To the lives of all the other people you've touched here? I think not, my friend. Does the digital stage make our work any less effective? I'm so thankful I have the freedom to devote all the time I want here, yet my own conditioning about what qualifies as "productive work" still gives me moments of personal conflict.
Hahaha! I just realized that second brownie's kicked in. Oh my word, we're in for a wild afternoon if I stay this loquacious.
Thank you for that kind compliment, and I am happy to meet you. Hope you enjoy my garden as much as I do.great and healthy looking set up og im new member today looking forward to watching how it all progresses
