Silly Rabbit Brix Are For Kits! Sponsored Grow With A Perfect Sun Max Yield

That first picture, to me, just looks like old foliar... dry and crusty. The second pic looks like necrotic tissue. Burned spot... but I’m no expert. I would probably do a heavy leaf wash soak... just to clean them up. No idea what’s up there... are these clones Ween? Sorry, bad memory!

Thanks Daj! Please, please be right! Never had pests and don't want to start now. Will start leaf wash tonight regardless. Anyone else have thoughts on possible pests? Need more pics?

Should I see something moving if there are pests?

Yes...i see no pests bud! Do the leaf wash for sure and keep a close eye on her. How is her posture/health , otherwise?
Look very , very closely at the soil level..move it around a bit with a finger...anything moving/hopping or scurrying about?
Check under a few leaves and look for eggs, larvae etc.....I tend to agree with 119 ....could just be old residue from foliars, but check things out good before and after the leaf wash. cheers bud....

Yes, you would typically notice something. My two thoughts were possible russet mites and possible fungus gnats. The russet mites are VERY small, but you would notice them in clusters under the leaves under a scope. Did you check run-off or root zone?

Would a jiffy pellet work? I have some of those and have had good luck with them so far.

Yes, I had some jiffy pellets on hand that came with one of those seedling tray/dome starter kits. They are exactly what I used when my soil was hot and they worked fine.

I planted directly into the 1 gallon pots of kit soil until it became too hot. So until that happens you don't really need jiffys or root cubes.

Thanks Duggan! I'll do that tonight before leaf wash and will monitor closely. Overall health is very good and I wouldn't have mentioned this at all but the star pupil seems to be getting the worst of it. Could it just be the fan blowing on her too hard?

What am I checking for Krip? Something moving in the roots? I can check tonight. I don't really have much run off as I'm still dunking but can look in the saucers.

Thanks you guys!

Ewww! WTF is that!? Gonna skip lunch!

Those little MF'ers are fungus gnat larvae. I'm guessing you don't have them and you are, in fact, pest free since, if you had the larvae, you likely would have seen some adults flying or hopping around on the soil, but it's good to rule out any possibility of pests considering the type of leaf damage.

Good and bad, I found a tiny spider web looking thing at the base of 1 plant which seemed to have 1 tiny spider or something in it, pinched out. Inspected the leaves, roots and top of soil and saw nothing else. Gave em a very good leaf wash after I clipped a couple leaves to get close up pics. Again, nothing moving but I did take pics of a few suspicious things. Any thoughts? How often should I do leaf wash? How about Brix and destress?

I don't see anything that looks like a pest. You said you had your fan blowing directly on the plant. I'm guessing that's the issue. Your original post on this said it was NOT environmental, which is why I was suggesting looking for the pest damage (and, it's always a good idea to rule that out!). Based on the damage of those leaves, if it was pests, I would think you would have ID'd them by now! :goodjob:

Man that is why I hate microscopes ... LOL ... I just see the spots or trails or flies and destroy them... You start looking like that and you might need a degree to interpret the results.... LOL...

I hear ya Hack! I got the scope to check trichs.

Thanks Krip! I'm gonna hold you to that, ha!

Don’t want to be contrary, not the bringer of bad news but I see spider mite eggs in those images...

I hope I’m wrong!

Thanks Amy for leveling with me! I don't like it but will treat them as if I have mites even though I've only seen that small web with 1 potential mite at the base of the stalk which if I am correct is opposite if where they usually congregate. I've not seen 1 moving thing on any leaf I've inspected, I hope your wrong too but will prepare for the worst!

I sprayed the crap out of them last night then shuck each plant so there weren't lots of drops of water on top.

When should I spray again? 7 days?

Thanks!
