Shottafire's Manic Organic 2kw Perpetual With Supersoil & Teas

I am sorry for not updating the past couple days. I have been having internet issues and i have been working around the clock to finish setting up my new veg room.

I have a new tea recipe I tried and gave it to pretty much everything except for the plants later in flower. All the leaves are praying to the sun shortly after giving them there drink of beneficials.

I am glad you stuck with it Shottafire! You canopy is so even, stunningly beautiful. They look like upside-down icicles glistening in the moonlight. Great tip to push main branches away from light too. Keep up the great work. I am subbed and in for the ride! I am happy to be here! Feel free to check out my first crack at growing too if you like. I can use all the help I can get. :rollit:

Yeah rstacks. thanks a bunch buddy. I hope i could help you out sometime.
i visited your journal and everything looked to be in order

Ok so I am going to do a quick little update.
today is day 48 for the finishing tray and let me just start by saying they are beautiful. Its a shame since I have been battling spider mites in this room for sometime and it being perpetual it is kind of hard to stop. What would you guys do? it is not a full blown infestation but they are present in the lower portions of some of the plants not all of them. I want to let them ride another 10 days. no webs on the buds or anything but I am afraid if it did get to that point I would have to chop. Kind of sucks when the plants look like this.

Meanwhile I have been working pretty hard getting my ducks in a row. Veg before was a pita now its a full blown assembly line.
On the left is a 4 foot 4 bulb t5 for clones and early veggers, in the middle is a 400 watt cool tube with a crappy plantmax cheapie bulb, and on the right is the 600 watt super sun with digilux mh bulb. this room just made my life easier than before so I am very happy.

cheap table i made for a 4x4 tray that fits rezi underneath to catch any run off which I try not to do all the time being in a living soil now.

until tomorrow when I get some bud shots up of the girls doing there victory lap in there last week of life.

Tons of light is right. My veg was a disaster having it connected to my flower room. Now I gave veg the ample light it needs to keep me full swing. Three veg light stations from 200 watts t5 to 400 watt mh to 600 watt mh . three weeks a station in veg three weeks a station in bloom. the three week three light three for all.

My hanna combo meter recently failed me after taking it in and finding out that it is not the probe either I was like F' it
No reason for it anymore since I am completely organic. We will see if I really dont need it.

Some nice pics up tonight hopefully with a good update and some other stuff. and stuff. haha im just a little excited since i have been packing rips of good trim and I finally had a sample taken a few days ago first nut I have smoked in a couple of weeks sooo good.

Ok i am long overdo for a good update. I made a tea the other day that was more like a feed but i diluted it like normal and this was for the plants really just in the beginning stages of flower. They took off and are all looking great. I have four strains in one tray right now.
It can be a pain sometimes but I really like to see other flowers growing in my garden. FLo is finally cooperating for me. lol
shes is a finnicky bitch but her stem structure and color is pretty trippy and it is a lot slower to move into flower than the others.

here is what I made up for them the other day and they really are seeming to have liked it. remember these ones are in straight roots so nothing amended really except for some rock powders and worm castings.

I first started with my
10 ml/5gal gen org ca/mg
20 ml/5gal liquid karma
10 ml/5gal mollasses
10 ml/5gal gen org bio marine cold processed squid
15 ml/5gal biobizz fish mix

I let that bubble for a few while I get my dry amendments in a 1 gallon paint strainer bag.
dry amendments
1 cup worm castings
1 cup amend (humus)
1 tbsp steamed bone meal
1 tbsp earth juice rainbow mix bloom
2 tbsp calcium carbonate
1 tbsp gypsum
1.5 tsp soft rock phosphate
and 1 tbsp azomite

here they are at 20 days.

Enjoy I will be back in a bit to break down my transplant in a little bit.

Yeah, gotta give you some reps just for those last 2 bud shots.

:thumb:

I have a harvest coming in a few weeks from a couple promising mineralized plants, and maybe, just maybe, I'll get a few buds that look like that. Then on to Doc's soil!

I wish you the best in your quest GT.

I will be doing a couple kits really soon as well.

The buds this time are insane. I am a fan of teas and will be experimenting further with the diversity that they can hold. Like for instance my flo that i have had since the beginning of the year has yet to produce a beautiful flower this time with weekly tea feedings diluted extra for her since shes finicky and rather small in stature is looking like she will finally let me sample a properly grown and finished product.

Alright so i got my transplants all in there final 5 gallon pots last night.

It is a whole lot easier to transplant in my new veg room sitting sown the whole time was nice and got it done fairly quickly.

I like to go from the little square 2.6 ltr plastic pots to either dirt pots or smart pots. I have learned there is a suttle difference with drainage and plant growth between the two. The dirtpots which are taller and a little more narrow will grow a taller plant and the drainage is better they require a little less water to fully saturate without too mych over flow. The smartpots are great too but the plants dont grow as tall as I like and they get more compacted it seems. I am just going by what I see and i have not determined how much it effects yield im sure there would be a difference there.

my choice dirtpots I have always had a thing for long legs same goes for my plants. Take there pants off at 3 weeks take there coats off at 6 weeks. let em sell and choppity choppity. jamming some uk garage in my veg while lights are off toking and relaxing in my new den of zen.

shit where was I

oh yeah transplant so I take two gallons measured with a gallon water pitcher. dump it in .

follow that up with a half gallon of base soil i used roots.
sprinkle a couple teaspoons of mychorrizal innoculant around the top of the soil. place your plant on the top making sure the roots get plenty of contact to the innoculant. SCORE the roots up the side and try to sprinkle come mykos where you scored the roots. next fill the rest of the pot with your base. I opted to add some insect frass to this top fill layer about 1/4 cup a gallon of the base.

I watered this in with
per 5 gallons
1tsp gen org ca/mg
1tsp protekt
1tbsp liquid karma
2tsp mendo honey
