Shottafire's Manic Organic 2kw Perpetual With Supersoil & Teas

Thanks beemer. I try to make them look good. I have been without a ph meter now for over a month and I am happy so far.

The flower room is finished now. Next on the list is a automated watering sysetem for those times I need to leave for a few days.

It never seems to end. I am only content in my room for a few cycles before I have to tear things down and move things around to better use the space, and improve grow room efficiency. It is cool to watch the utility bill drop a fraction from taking out 1 90 in a ducting run or placing your fans in a way that circulates the air better and keeping your ac off for an extra 20 seconds. it all adds up .

Cheers all and have a good day

The buds were very dirty. It didnt seem this dirty when I finished washing everything but when I came back it was much more cloudy and brown. Regardless the wash that docbud recommends is a thing that everyone should try at least once with some personals if your scared to do an entire batch.

I did one plant prior to taking everything down and tested the wash on that plant when i came back the following day and inspected the buds I was sold and proceeded to finish everything this way.

Hi shotta, Congrats again on the harvest. I saw your post about the bud wash, I got the recipe from Doc Bud over the weekend, and I'm definitely going to try it. Fill us in when it dries enough to smoke. :)

I've been washing my harvests and it's a night and day difference. No harshness - none. I can tell when I take a test bud - unwashed - and it's harsh in comparison. And the color contrasts are more pronounced. It's a no-brainer once you've done it.

Well the wash is pretty much the only way I will do it from now on. It came out sweet and very smooth. The smoke is tasty and it expands really nice. They smell fantastic and if you like cocoa coffee and lemon grape jam if thats even a flavor you would love these. lol The buds actually cure a lot more even and at almost three weeks from the chop now the smoke is definitely top shelf. I pulled .83 gpw on that tray and plan to do better in the near future.

cheers

Yes yes and yes. I just turned on a whole group of my friends they will all wash there buds now. I had them all come over to help me trim and when i proceeded to dunk they all gasped for air. After I sampled them all out with a nice 1/4oz they are all raving about it and asking me where I found out about this. I told them a guru master canna yogi shared this with us. (Doc)

Thanks!

I've got even more tricks up my sleeve.....to be shared in due time.

So with my little one taking a nap I am going to try and do an update. If she can stay asleep long enough. lol

I have been thoroughly engulfed with life and the unexpected occurences that arise when you have a child. I wanted to try and be more on top of it over here but it is just hard to find the time.

Lets take a quick look at the room. I have moved my filter and dehumidifier into the middle of the room and pushed the original trays back 6 inches and closer together a few inches and brought the lights closer together as well. Everything stays on rollers for maintenance and thorough inspection of all plants. My dehumidifier is a 70 pt works great so far and my cooling is a 12k btu mini split. There is two 1000's air cooled by a 8 " max fan. Blockbuster 6" reflectors. and now I have added two 600's air cooled by a 6" vortex. I shortened everything up in my ducting runs and kept my turns in it to a minimum. The 6's are in Blockbuster 6" as well. 2 quantum 1000 watt dimmables. and one 600 watt lumatek. I may buy two new quantum 600's though. I like there product over the lumateks. Just a personal opinion.

Im using the two 6's for my trial runs and new gear no netting no trays just under the bed storage containers with stakes in the pots.
Im thinking of using four plants in 7 gallon pots per 600.

Here is the room still a work in progress!

Shotta you have a very nice setup and your girls are going to make you a happy man. Happy Skunkday

Well the garden is going good for the most part. I will be chopping next wed. so one more week left on my upcoming tray and my other tray was started on thursday last week.

Now I have plants getting backed up. I was planning on flipping one of the 6's but it is too hot so I am going to start transplanting my plants into 7 gallon pots and give them a longer veg.

I have some new stuff about to make an appearance in the flower room.

Blackberry OG
Skywalker OG
Strawberry Tahoe OG
A few mystery beans from a ex-member of the site (these things are vigorous)
A couple Agent Orange seeds popped last week.

Alright I am back with some pictures of the current happenings.

This heat wave sucks and I can not wait for it to subside. My ac has been working overtime and its fine just the thought of my bill coming in the mail has me cringing. There really is no way around it though. So full bore I keep it until this weather mellows out. I am currently very happy with my garden atm no ph meter or ppm meter and all is well.

Here is some stuff from veg.
New gear dubbed afghanica not sure about it received from a friend.

I finally figured out the rapid rooters and they stayed nice and green and rooted in 6 days loving my new cloning setup.

Should I do a video and how safe is it to post a vid on youtube do you guys think.

Wear a hat and wear sunnies imo. I sure as hell would watch it. I think that as long as you are all legal what harm could come of it. I think there is a cutoff like 60 plants or something the leo then takes interest. I think Doc mentions this somewhere. If you really think about it 'they' already know what we do just because we are on here. There are much much bigger fish to fry imho.

It makes me chuckle when you berate some of your stuff. My current plants would get culled so fast my head would spin! I can't wait to have the standards of you High Brix guys :)

It is always nice to see pics of peoples rooms and setups, especially someone as accomplished as you Shotta. Looks outstanding. How big ofa room are you working with?

The Flo made me laugh. I remember many a time when I cursed her! Good day time smoke, but a picky, picky plant....

I'd like to see you do a video, but that choice is up to you. I loved the bud washing story. It put a big smile on my face.
