Alright. Will do that now. Check back inna bit .
Was at 9. Jacked her up to 7 from the light. Will update inna bit. Thanks boss.

This light can get really close.
Try with your hand under the bulb, it doesn't burn.
Yeah I put it up another inch bout half hour ago . Only at about an inch under the light does it put out some warmth. After the inch up , it's doin a bit better. I may consider gutting both led bulbs and putting the brighter module in the smart bulb.

Last update before bed. Problem child right there. The white is leftover residue from the soap. Maybe that's holding it down? Lemme know thoughts in the morning.

Looking back over your shopping list if you want to keep within your budget there are better places to save than your light. Dont bother with a tent, use black and white poly or hell even dollar store mylar emergency blankets that gives you extra bucks for your light.

Also you mentioned that one bulb 5000k while the other only put out 2700k. Its important you know that k stands for kelvins and is measurement of light color not intensity.

If I wanted a cheap grow light I would find a vanity set that has 4-6 light bulb sockets, and a pack of cfl's. Spend a few more bucks and get those splitters that you screw in one light socket and it you can screw 2 lights into each and buy two boxes of cfls. Buy 23 watt cfls and if you buy two packs do a mix of soft white and cool white, or daylight.

It really all depends on what you want out of your plant. What kind of yield are you hoping for?

I'm honestly not expecting or wanting a fat yield. This is my first time.. Imma just see if it's a female.. if I grow it right..

Much better.

Whether or not it's a Male or females pretty well genetically predetermined ya all sorts of things like keeping cooler temps and adjusting humidity but you need everything dialed in for those strategies to do you any good and even then it's no guarantee.

As long as your plant is deprived of light it's not going to grow to it's full potential it will be weak and prone to disease and bugs. Not trying to burst your bubble or tell you not to grow, but if you think that light will give you an indication as to how the rest of your system will perform once you put a real light in, it wont. Bigger light will cause more heat, make your plants grow faster transpire more and therefore more humidity, which mean whatever cycle you have your fans on wont work with the new light. If your pro-mix feeds this plant for 2 months, once you put a real light over a clone of the exact same plant it will feed it for less time because your growth will be faster.

But again not trying to discourage you and theres plenty you can learn from this experiment but just know all the knowledge you gain in this run will not necessarily carry over to your next grow.

Will this not be good enough?

Get the light

The bulbs won't work for long

Round and round we go ..lol
I know the bulbs won't work for long. I'm not rich, I'm not employed, wife's on disability .. I'm tryna get on it for my leg pains(ultimately get them checked.. a neurologist wait here is 12+ months)... soonest I can get that light is end of this month. If dollar stores here carry that mylar stuff I'll grab one.
