Sense Amelia's First Pop At Indoor Soil Grow

:thanks:Thanks Mutt. It's a bit of a stressful time for them and me right now it feels. Ha ha ha!! I think they are going to look prettier without those unsightly yellow leaves.

What should I do about a couple big lower fan leaves it is starting on? They are not completely yellow yet. Cut or not until complete discoloured?

they wont get better so take em off:)

Here they are. Some before I removed leaves and some afterwards, all four plants included in this selection I think.

They look much smarter now those horrible leaves are all gone, ay? Just gotta hope and pray that no more of it appears now and that's the end of it! Jeez. :Namaste:

Looking good.
They sure have long legs!
They're gunna stretch a lot more before the end.
Have you done some research on supercropping?
I think you're plants are going to need it. And NOW is the perfect time to hit em.
Learn from me, and don't leave it til its too late.
I had to supercrop at day 35 of flower, and although it's turning out ok for me (day 45..) Once the stalks hunker down and divert focus to the buds, the stalks become woody and won't Knuckle up like they would have earlier in veg and flip stretch.
check out my current journal. Bassman and Xler8 have helped me a lot in learning the process and how it can benefit all of us to maximize our yields..

A supercrop would stall that stretch a bit. It would also more than likely divert some of that stretching energy into bushing out the other growth (correct me if I'm wrong). It deffinitely won't hurt anything. But, just leaving it grow naturally won't hurt anything either.

Aww shit, I was hoping I wouldn't have to do anything like this my first time........ what if something goes disasterously wrong, what if I go too far? Ahh, balls to it, I'll read your journal through and through later on and then more than likely by tomorrow I will have plucked up the courage to do this. :tokin:

I am grateful for your post and at the same time, in the nicest possible way Vick, damn you. :) Me so scared.

I agree but I also think you should just let her grow till you feel good about what you are doing:)
that said supercroping is not hard. you just need the bollocks to do it and get it over with.

Hahaahahahhaaaa!!!
Don't worry I'm not offended.
Trust me, I was scared too at first. It took me almost a week to get the courage up to just commit!
And you can imagine how much more scared I was than you, I was 35 days into flower so I was trippin..
Like anything with learning to grow, educate yourself on these techniques so you can decide for yourself on weather it will work for you or not.
And not to worry, we will guide you through it.
That's the only way I made it through, was with Bassman and Xler8 holding my hands while we all jumped off the cliff together..
weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!

Well, I may be female, but I may just manage to find some bollocks from somewhere. Ha ha ha!!! I wanna do this now.

I was 35 days into flower so I was trippin..
F**k, I would have been absolutely on edge!!!

(Still not read your journal yet) but do I bend the main stems?!

Well most of you ladies have more balls than us dudes that have em..
So you should be fine.
You can bend any stem to go in any direction you want, It's like LST and HST'ing with no tying needed.
Read through this journal of Xlr8's.. It's a great read, and has excellent information about using high defoiliation and supercropping together to increase yields and maximize space..

Xlr8's Quest For The Best - 2012

Even if something went horribly wrong (Which it WON'T .... you'll do fine) and you snapped the whole top end off your plant. You could always use what broke off to make plenty of clones. So, even mistakes can turn out well.

Don't let this post scare you. That was not my intent.

Supercropping is high stress though and has a higher chance of causing hermie. I did it on accident on my first grow and it worked magically.I had the same issues with stretch. I would definitely super crop them.

Hmm, these are going to take longer than the usual 6-8 week strains as it is. Last thing I want is slow down of budding process now and a bunch of hermies. Oh my. Decisions decisions. I hate this.

I think you need to supercrop...

You can super crop it all as long as you do not do a complete break.
