Seedsman's Purple Ghost Candy Comparative Grow Using Remo Nutrients By Tokin Roll

Thank you for stopping by @Hash Hound

Yes, I have been bottom feeding (SIP) with @Remo Nutrients . I did have to give her a spray treatment of cal-mag during veg a couple times, but that's it. I am still feeding my @SeedsMan Purple Ghost Candy three times a day for a total of almost two gallons a day. Still on week 4 of @Remo Nutrients schedule and I will be changing her solution on Saturday/Sunday when time is available.

The buds are slowly forming into cola's on the branches. Time wise I still have 6 to 8 weeks to go on the PGC, so a lot more time for things to come.

Here are some current images.

That's all folk's.

Stay safe and grow well my friends,
Tok..

You going to have to break out some aluminum poles soon to support the huge ass colas she is getting ready to stack on there by the looks of things!!

WOW! What a great plant!!!!

Thank you for stopping by and your kind words @Scottay @Ke0ncp and @SeedsMan

I must say @SeedsMan you guys did a great job in the genetics of Purple Ghost Candy. She is a very robust plant that doesn't want to stop growing. If I am fortunate enough to get a purple one she going to be a beautiful plant. Have you had a chance to start your own Purple Ghost Candy?

At this point in the grow there isn't a lot for me to do, except a little defoliation from time to time to get the buds all swelled up. Defoliation during flowering stage can be a slippery slope. On one side it will cause the buds to swell up since she is not producing anymore leaves; but on the flip side over defoliation can cause a plant to hemy and destroy the whole grow and all your work. So, care must be taken if you want to defoliate during flowering stage.

That's all for now, folk's.

Stay safe and grow well my friends,
Tok.. :bong:

Great looking grow! I’m on day 55 (flower) of my PGC (by seedsman) grow. Here are a few pics…

It's the to update @SeedsMan Purple Ghost Candy.

I was in cleaning her up some today and before I new it I was up to my elbows in sticky icky. The cola's are all starting to come together now, so it's time to make them fatter.

If you are wondering how I do this, it is relatively easy. Once the plant is in full flowering stage it will not produce anymore leaves. At this time I start my light defoliation which will cause the plant to produce more flower since it is not capable to make anymore leaves it will produce more buds. I will continue this up to the last couple weeks of flowering stage.

Just be careful not to get carry away trimming the plant; no more than 5% at a time during flowering stage.

The 3x3 with the two @ViparSpectra XS-1500PRO is really kicking out the PPFD's at 980 and DLI is at 40 for 12 hour period.

The XS-2000 is satisfying the PGC in my 2x4 tent and the DLI and PPFD are pretty much the same.

Here is a different view of some current images.

That's all folk's.

Nice plants, Tok!

What is your standard for determining when a plant is in "full flower" mode?

Thank you for the question @Grand Daddy Black

The first 7 days of 12/12 I consider transiting from veg to flower. I would say after the stretch period they are in full flowering stage or close to it. Which works out to be about a 30 days for the PGC. I find that not all strain cooperate with this time line some are earlier or later.

The easiest way I tell before I grow a seed is half of the suggested flowering time to reach full flowering stage. Meaning buds are developing everywhere at a fast rate.

Nice looking @SeedsMan Purple Ghost Candy you have there @MagicMike24

What nutrient line did you use?

Stay safe and grow well my friend,
Tok.. :bong:
Thank you! I use Cultured Solutions nutrient line and I'm very happy with the results. I used Advanced Nutrients before switching to CS and not only is it quite a bit cheaper, but the plants seem a lot happier. AN has about 20 different nutrients that they try to get you to buy....with CS, there's UC Roots, CocoCal, Bud Booster, and an A&B Bloom. Highly recommended.
