Second Generation Purple Marmalade

She was dry enough to water an feed, I top dressed with the terp tea. My understanding is what I top dress with today takes about a week to be available to the plant. I watered with a weak solution of the Peruvian sea bird guano. I hope I'm doing it rite, what I used to know I no longer know, what I know today I won't know tomorrow. But she look good so I must be doing g something rite

Thanks Bill, havin a much better day . Think the worst of the covid has past. My girl is getting big, I cut off the bottom 5 fingered leaves it just makes it easier to water an it let's more light on the lower branches. I'm watering this morning , she was looking droopy

Hey Bill, any thoughts on how these leaves look, also I'm noticing how dark green they look out from underneath the LED light

Think the color is genetic? every pic of purple marmalade I've seen is very dark
How is the nitrogen content of your feed water.
They are dark but not terrible.

your asking questions I can't answer Bill. I'm adding hot water to the mix cause my cold water this time of year is like ice water. I've noticed the hot water has a slight yellowish color would rust have an effect on her

That's probably Irina buildup in your hot water tank.
Depends on how bad.
High ppms in the water before adding nutrients isn't ideal.
But not the end of the world, don't fret.
You want your feed water around 18c if possible.
Can you let the cold water sit overnight to become room temp?
Also her color in the last pic looks fine.
I wouldn't worry about nitrogen uptake right now.
Just concentrate on building roots.
That's my main objective for seedlings.
Build that Root ball. :thumb:

Irina, sounds like a Ukrainian mail order bride. my apt is in a house built in 1912. It has a forced hot air heating system, now in 1912 it was coal fired coal was cheep like $15 a ton in the 60's it was converted to home heating fuel which was about 20 cents a gallon. It's the most inefficient type of heating system built, but it was cheep to operate so people didn't care.. now heating fuel cost over $5 a gallon. I have a 275 gallon tank I can only afford 100 gallons. and room temperature is not much better than outside temps. But I'll just heat up a few 500ml bottles in the microwave

Can you supplement with a electric heater.
The oil filled rads are very efficient.
Might help.
So sorry my friend.
We just had a new instant hot boiler installed $13.000.00 yeiks.
It's 98% efficient, only uses gas when we need heat or hot water.
Not like the 60 gal tank we were renting.
Constantly heating 60 gallons when not being used.
1912 wow that's old.
How is the insulation and windows?
Take care.

I have one of those oil filed rad's, I'm just waiting to see how much running the light has boosted my electric bill. There is no insulation ha ha, I have plastic replacement windows that my landlord Installed and he has no clue. But I don't mind the cold I'm a hardey old New England, plus a bit of fresh air helps combat the carbonmonxid. Here's how she looked at lights on, she could be a bit cold

Had to raise the light yesterday, she's getting tall. Still not sure how I want to grow her, I was thinking top her after 6 branches and grow her sideways. But if she'll stay a manageable hight there is just something about them little Christmas trees I really love... that big single top bud, time will tell

You can top and get 2 main colas.
Or spread her flat and get a dozen of them.
Anything is possible now. :thumb:
Take care.

This is the view I have of her as I sit on my bed. She gets close to an hour of real sunlight these short days. It's our favorite time of day
