Obviously different types of light but way up there.

It bad at all from the looks of it

They looked a bit shocked this morning. Sort of droopy. Was thinkkng id better raise it up a bit when i got home, but now thay look happy as. They adjust there metabolism to different lights. But totally confident i have adequate light now. In a 14" sq tent especially. Can rule out light now with veg issues. Was always my weak spot in my grow.

Got a problem in my veg area too bro, so slow  measured the lux the other day and was getting around 3000 at the canopy, changed out the bulb and I'm getting 8000 now, still shit but at least plants are actually growing now  got a good mate building me a veg led right now he says will kick a 315w ass so cant wait for that

They reckon 30,000 lux minimum. 3000 sounds low. I get 30,000 at the base of my flower plants. What are you using to test it. This app i use is the only one ive found that works. And ive tried about 50. People have compared this one to proper lux meters and say its nearly spot on.

just an app on my phone, probably not right but gives me enough of an indication of what I'm dealing with :thumb: it reads my cmh's at 150k at the canopy, veg is pretty much non existant right now for me  since the bulb change I have noticed an increase in growth but still not up to where it should be, new light is going to fix that, runs cheaper, cooler and much brighter :thumb:

yeah I don't usually base anything off lux, only really check it when I start to notice something is up in there, been a few months of really slow growth where they should have been booming in the heat, anything will be better than the mh I'm running in there now, even the t5 fluro in the cupboard is doing a better job :thumb:

Sounds good. I could do with some elcrricity savinga. Looking at a few options for maybe later in the year. Tho one plant pays my bill each 3 months so im not out of pocket.
Yeah i spose if you have a reference off your cmh you can sort of get an idea. Those figures of mine were at 6". Ill do some tests and compare how the different lights drop off with distance.

The idea of a perpetual grow is always in the back of my mind, def gonna keep following this thread!

I just started a grow journal of my own. Feel free to point out all the things I am doing wrong and let me know what yas think. Beginner Grow - 5x6 Room - 1000 watt mh/hps - PK Maui Waui Blackwater -

Its good keeping things rolling along perpetually, not always as easy as it sounds. I will drop over and take a look at your journal. Sounds like you have the right gear to make it count. Nothing grows buds as good as a 1000 watter. If only i had the space...

Nice bro. What components is he using. Are they the same samsung diodes in the quantum boards. Those diodes absolutely kick ass

I have no idea about led's at all bro  letting my mate roll with it, he is making it as a tester for me, I will get all that info from him once he is done ;) he will be selling them soon :thumb:

Oh mad. Thats why I love this community. I have never seen any other communities pull through for people. Its awesome when theres no contracts just a good mans word if u know what I mean

Yeah people seem to be having good results with them. You can nake them up yourself at a good price. I see someone has the boards only on ebay now for about $85 each also. And they have been confirmed the genuine samsung chips.
