Second Generation Purple Marmalade

Hi Cana!

I am with Bill on the feeding routine. As soon as I see two sets of trues, I begin giving them something.

On a bigger note, just happy to see you are happy to be growing again and got a journal started!

Welp, I've searched under my cabinets and came up with some Peruvian sea bird guano it's about 5 or 6 years old, it's in a pellet forming so I don't think it can deteriorate, don't remember the N P K but I think it's high in nitrogen. I mix up a week batch in water and gave her drink when the lights came on. I top dressed with the terp tea, the directions said either top dress or bubble. Like I said I'm a dirt farmer at heart compost and manure was how I learned. My dad grew up on a family farm, when I was a kid I'd I'd spend summers on the farm with the grandparents.as a city kid having to deal with wheelbarrows full of fresh cow crap was an experience. all the old timers got a big kick out it. But it had it good times, like picking strawberries for days on end. When I grew outside in the early 80's I grew amazing cannabis plants, luckily I knew how to get my tomatoes nice and big to hide my good stuff. But like I said I give it my all an I may stumble at times but I do have my moment's, I think I did better when I grew under the M H / H P S lights. sorry for the manic rant.. the meds haven't kicked in yet

Rant away. :thumb:
Glad you had that experience when you were young.
Fresh air and hard work is good for you, made you who you are. :high-five:
Better than sitting in front of a video game like kids today.
Hope she turns out great for you.
I'm sure you got this. ;)
Have a great day my friend.

She looks a bit pale, I only have the 1 quantum board going. Do y'all think she needs more light. She didn't stretch like most of my seedling do
They don't need a lot of light right now.
Light green usually means she is hungry.
Are you feeding weak nutrients?

I think my phone camera may make it look a lighter color green. if I roll her in sunlight she looks a better color. It could be the light too, it's the R spec an I think it put out a more yellow light

That happens, camera makes them look lighter green, especially under the grow lights.
She looks alright though.
Hope everything is going well.
Take care.

With the big container it's hard for me to tell if she need water, I'm too weak to lift it. so I use a dip stick, I have a 1/4" dowel about 18" long and I get a good idea how wet the soil is I watered on the 21st and I checked today an she's kinda dry, I keep the top 3" of soil lose and poke holes down to the bottom to help dry faster. Not sure how fast her roots will grow into the bottom of the container and I don't want any root rot problems. But if she drys in 6 or 7 days I should be able to keep her happy with nutes.
