Scroggin In The Greenhouse Blueberry OG Kush, WW, Scooby Snacks #1

Jim's been at it again today. I found this old shower door and found a way to re purpose it and give it new life. New life is the goal in the Peoples Temple...no irony in that statement. Anyway, since I've not been stoned for a while I no longer sit in my greenhouse thinking...you know the drill when you've smoked up some heavy indica and the world just slows down...lol One project takes hours. At least thats how it goes for me.

By adding this I have gained much needed room in the back. This will give me room enough for two maybe three kiddie pools for SOG. A friend and i were chatting about sog so its his fault I've gone straight up retard on the idea. I had no clue what i was going to do with those clones im rooting...but now I do....I do I do I do. I never measured but my eyeballing skills say I may fit three pools total. So, I guess I'll be taking more clones soon.

Someday.....ima wash that door.

Jim has some thoughts rattling around on his brain.

Here's what all the noise is about. I am considering removing the big scrog screen. I'll keep the smaller one and let it play out but I'm running into some issues with the larger one. Usually i setup a grow so I can feed from the bottom. I prefer to use a catch pan...fill it and let the ladies soak it up...then drain excess. All of the plants currently under the big screen have no catch pan and when I water its like pouring water through a bag of chuncky perilite. I feel like I am loosing nutrients by doing this.

I dunno...but I'll figure something out soon before flowering starts. Nutrients are expensive and I hate feeling as though I am wasting them.

This screen is starting to flower. So, this will be the last major training. From now on I will train to manage the stretch. After a week I'll stop all together except for minor adjustments to help the canopy stay somewhat even. The greenhouse scrog is a new animal for me so I'm not real certain how this will go. Its not in this pic but I have added a catchpan under the plant on the far left. This plant was drying out way faster than the others that get to soak up water from below. I can not get the soil saturated verses the water just flowing through.
Growing indoors where one can flip to flower and know exactly how far along into flowering you are is much easier to manage but i'll manage this shit show. That's what I signed up for..lol. Soon I will clean out the undergrowth. My other clones should be rooting soon so I'll take more from the undergrowth as I clean it out.
I'm hoping this Blueberry/Kush goes crazy soon. I started more flowering nutes and added the fox farm open sesame for the first stages of flower then on to the beastie bloomz soon with a finish of Cha Ching. I've never used the dry nutrients so its all new to me. I bought a sampler pack of 25grams each. If they do well I may consider buying more.

I know this isn't promix or sunshine mix #4 but it is peat and the only I can find in my area. I think maybe I can work with this next year. Only $10 a bale. Maybe I can buff this stuff up into something worth while. I'd like some feedback from you peat guys. Thanks

Hey Jim, Shoot, I remember someone here has a recipe for diy promix. @Virgin Ground , do you know the recipe or who is holding it? Maybe @InTheShed has it?

Awesome, thank you to both you guys. I'll have to bookmark that. Being blind I saw this stuff from a distance and thought it was promix. Then I got close...:nerd-with-glasses:Oh well, at least I know its doable with a little additions. Pretty cheap bale.

Jim's got the temple all moved around. The big screen has been removed and I now water 3-4 plants at a time with the kiddie pool soak. They responded well.

This is right after removing the screen. Some were thirsty and very light in weight I'd just watered a few days ago.

After a soak overnight in the kiddie pool and watering the others with a catch pan they seem to have bounced back well.

My widow girls are doing okay. I didn't really have as much veg time as I'd liked but I do love the multi branching I'm getting. No topping required..lol. This one and one other have not started flowering yet like their sister. I'm sure they will start soon since I've started flowering nutes and some of the others strains are starting to flower.

Looking great. You're managing them all really well!
Thanks, it hasn't been without problems. I've got a few pretty damaged with block outs...trying to save them but not much luck so far. Oh well, I've got a bunch of clones to flower soon. Probably cut 25 more for a late run in the gh.

Yeah you seem to be rolling with it though. I've got 1.5 plants and I find that stressful.. :laughtwo:

Sorry to hear about the damage, but seems like you have the scale to deal with losses!

Look what came today...finally. Hard to believe I've made it this far without accurate ph. Only screwed up a few plants. Lucky I guess. But, to add more frustration to the long wait. It came with no batteries (but the description said it would). After a quick trip to the dollar store and another $11 I finally have a decent meter to deal with. Now, I can work on trying to fix the damage to those sick girls.

2gal grow bags should be plenty enough to carry my rooted clones through a few months of flowering. But first I've got to let those bags soak up some nice mild nutes and properly ph'd water. Probably going to add more as they root. Had to replace a few due to a cat eating some and a few that just wouldn't take.

Don't be hating...lol. This is an economy grow with cheap ass soil but I can't complain much so far. They are green and growing. That's all that matters really.

Looks like I pulled my chair up just in time for some beautiful plants! Go @JimJonesJr :thumb:
Welcome Johnny, and thank you. The shows about to begin with most in the flower stage now. I may have to go find a dead skunk to tie in a tree if the funk gets to funky.
