Nice. I'll probably go with the peat next time around. I did a few grows with it years ago and I liked how easy it was. Plus, I'll have less numbers. Soil was the cheaper route this year. Being on a budget I had to opt for the cheapest way. Not always the best way but I need some herb I'm this house. I buy a few grams here n there but by just holding out for a while I can have enough to last me a year or more and scale down this larger grow. Build a small box and just grow to maintain my sanity and stockpile.I did the ol' 27 gallon Home Depot tote hydroponic cloner you see in the internet that those two super high guys built. It works great but not in use at the moment.
For my other peat/perlite (30/70) clones I use two clear Tupperware. One is the bottom with soil mix, the other is the cover. It lets the light in and you can see when the roots start. You mist once a day and wet the soil once before you put the clones in. As long as it doesn't dry out and you mist it, you shouldn't need to water it. Once you see roots (10-14 days) you dump them out, separate, and transplant individually.
