Scroggin In The Greenhouse Blueberry OG Kush, WW, Scooby Snacks #1

I skipped a day and did not go out to my girls yesterday. Had them on my mind all day though. Today I go out there and feel a little overwhelmed with all the growth. The scrog is totally outta control. I just don't have the energy to keep up with it. Plus, with the heat I tire quickly and can't spend the time I'd like to spend out there.

So, I'm thinking of removing the screen on this one too. Space them out a little and let them do their thing till the end. I'd have to do it now though before the buds start to thicken. At this point I think they'd do a little better spread out. I didn't need to have a scrog grow out there. I have plenty of room to grow trees if I want to. I just wanted a scrog because my mind is still indoors..lol. I dunno...Ima think on it a minute and maybe go out there again later on when it cools off a little.

Give yourself a full minute. I only have 5 plants and feel that way when the humidity evaporates and the heat steals away my ability to enjoy the growth in the garden.
No rules, man, do what you feel like! Are you a little sad they grew so much without being with them? You can tell us...

agreed with others on the scrog method and you do have planty of land to spread them out like you mention
try to get your work done in the morning before the heat wave starts and at evening. This way you wont get to dehydrated.

Yeah, I have bad days sometimes. Copd and high humidity kick my ass. I'm managing 30plants. 12 big ones and 18 clones...lol. Once this mother load is complete I'm sure I won't do this again..lol

Take it easy, Jim!

I think no matter which way you go they will be ok.

If removing the scrog net makes things easier for you in the long run, you should do it :thumb:
Thanks man, I think I'm going to make that happen tomorrow. I'll do a scrog when I get a box built for winter grows. For now I'm just trying to manage this all the easiest way possible and do what's best for the plants.

I do get out in late evening most of the time. Even then it's still an oven outside..lol. I am so ready for fall. If the humidity would lift temps wouldn't be so bad really. Dry heat is much easier to deal with. Thank PK.

What I'm truly worried about is powdery mildew in that scrog screen. I can't control the humidity and everything outdoors here molds. At least if I pull the screen n spread them out they will get a lot more airflow.
Okay, I've convinced meself...lol. It's happening tomorrow.

glad to hear you already do that. Ya, by evening time everything is just heated up and when the sun goes down all that heat still needs to cool down. My next door neighbour loves it when i water my balcony and walls down as i also do his, but the poor old guy below me that never goes to his balcony hates it. He says makes his balcony wet when the entire balcony is under algae and mildew

Ya need to move out in the country PK. I'm sure you'd like it much better.

not much of that here but i do get lost in our jungles and camp. sometimes with a friend and sometimes just alone.

Once we legalize it here I'm going to grow a big ass sativa plant in my backyard.

@PK1 I enjoy the camping alone too, just me and the dog. Haven't been able to do that for a long time here because of Rona and the wildfires. I just had a hike get canceled.

I'll add this, I already have the sativa seeds ready to start after the election.

Well, went out this morning and removed the screen. That was way to may plants under there. Only broke off two branches. I'll throw some pics up soon. They need to recover a little.

So like I said I removed the screen this morning. It went much easier than I thought it would. Here they are this evening. They are still droopy and disoriented but I'm sure they will bounce back within a few days. Tomorrow is water day so that should help them start reaching for the sky.

It's a mess out there right now. I didn't have time today to straighten up things but will tomorrow. I feel much better about them now. I know they are getting better airflow now and maybe I can avoid mildew.

The other day I went to help clean out my wifes grandmothers garage and found these nice racks I can use for pots. They are approx 12x12inches. Also got a few more catch pans. hoot hoot.

Lastly, this evening when I was out there I took notice of the split stem girl I have over in the corner. Other than the early budding White Widows this Blueberry Kush plant has blown up and the buds are solid already. The Scooby Snack I damaged is way ahead of all the other SS's as well. Sooooo, tomorrow all of the large plants will receive a stem split.
